Purchased a North Star 15000 watt generator ( model # 165607 AF). Havnt got to test it yet but seems to be a very well built generator. I ordered it from the store in Abilene TX. Cant say enough about the staff there. Absolutely perfect service, extremely friendly, extremly helpful. Went above and beyond to see that my experience was perfect. Would highly recommend this store.

Great customer service!! I went in looking for a Milwaukee impact. They didnt have in stock, but had no problem ordering it and got free delivery. Mia the cashier was very efficient and friendly.

I called in and spoke with Gary and he checked on some parts I was looking for. He mentioned that they had a shipment just come in and would be more than happy to call me once they had determined whether what I needed was included in the shipment. I was in the store to buy my husband a birthday gift, I had a nice young man help me. His name was Roger, he helped me so much because I have no idea on any kind of tools. Told him what my husband had, so he asked me if my husband needed something for home use or shop use, I ended up buying a generator took it home and my husband couldn’t believe how in the world I knew what he needed. Thank you Roger for being so helpful and so nice! I left feeling like I am gonna return to Northern Tools because of Roger, being full of knowledge and so professional.

It has alot of different brands that you cant find at many places. But the good thing is Northern tool brought them all under one roof. Which makes it a one stop shop. Its just in a weird location. I didnt even know Abilene had a Northern Tool.

My first time at northern tool and needless to say I was impressed. I walked in and was instantly greeted. It didn’t take long for a sales rep to ask me if I need any help Gary was very helpful locating the tools I needed and Ray made check out a breeze. I will be back and recommend this store to my friends and family.

Went in to buy something for my husbands birthday. The first Employee that I saw I ask if he could help his name was Dave, he was very very rude and brushed me off like I was interrupting his day or something. So I found another employee named Roger helped me. Let me tell you he is the only reason for the 5 stars!!!!

Took a spot sprayer pump back less than a year old (2 year) warranty. Would not do a in-store exchange. I could purchase a new pump and wait for week Or so for the refund or I could do a straight refund which I had to wait for the money. Due to not having the cc account open from the original purchase the had to cut a check which I am supposed to get in a week or so. Either way I have to wait a week or so for less than 60 dollars. I will be going to Tractor Supply for the new pump.

Took a chainsaw in for repairs. Spent nearly what a new saw would cost. Was sold SEVERAL things that I KNOW I didn’t need. Got saw out today for first time. Won’t run. These people couldn’t fix a glass of tea. Save your money GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

So I dropped off my Stihl Combi unit for repair. The edger wasn’t spinning and I told them at drop off that I needed a nut and washer replaced at connection.So they charge me $37 for diagnostic fee to see that the nut needed to be changed.Then it was $2.43 for the screws $.40 for the night and $37.50 to replace the nut and screw. He was $8.95 to ship the screw making my bill $53.35 plus $37.89 dollar diagnostic fee. So $91 dollars and change.Best part the edger head was mounted sideways onto the unit. I was briefed all I needed to do was unbolt the end of tedger and turn it. Mind you a new edger attachment is $10 more than this repair.Update: So originally this is a one star review. However I was writing this in front of the store because I was so upset with how it went down. While I was typing this the manager came out and made things right.
