I was super excited to use this cake for a centerpiece. Have to figure out plan B because it is sloppy. She didnt even care.

Creative Cakes made all of our daughters wedding cakes! They are affordable, moist and delicious! They have a huge variety of flavors and so many pictures of wedding cakes they have created for clients to choose from. They were extremely helpful in assisting each of our 3 daughters (2009, 2014, and 2016) in each of their unique weddings. We are so thankful for Creative Cakes!

I just recently graduated college and was surprised with not only a dinner but the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. Creative cakes is very keen to detail as it was very intricate. A very nice wise owl, that had glasses, diploma, cap, and tassel included. I was in tears as it was presented to me. The cake itself tasted wonderful! Very moist and flavorful! I will never go anywhere else for my dessert needs.

My daughters Peppa pig birthday cake was more than I expected. They were able to capture the colors exactly. I was very pleased with the look. Unfortunately, I was unable to taste it, as I had to drop it off to a class full of preschoolers. Sigh!! Maybe next time

The chocolate birthday cake I ordered from Creative Cakes tasted like it was homemade and was very nicely decorated. It was reasonably priced and ready on time. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. I recommend this bakery very highly!

What a horrible experience here at Creative Cakes in Abilene, TX. When taking my order they wrote down the incorrect date down, called me to tell me that my cake was ready, when I mention that the cake was for later in May, the owner told me that they did not make a mistake and I would have to pay for both cakes... They definitely need to learn customer service. I wont use this place again, and hope that other customers find a better bakery to use in the future.

We had them do a retirement cake for us, and it came out amazing! The cake was decorated exactly as we asked, and the cake itself was absolutely delicious. I would recommend them to anyone!

Her cakes are moist and tasty. I have always gone to her for all cakes. She fixed a cake for my daughters baby shower that another bakery ruined. And she did it in less than 24 hours.

Absolutely the worst!! I called to get an estimate on making a Marylin Monroe cake for my daughter Birthday. I spoke to a lady named Cindy. I sent her a picture of the cake I wanted it to look like. She told me it would be $117. I called her to tell her when I would need it by. She never returned my call. Two days later I called her again to let her know I needed it by a certain day she said, Let me do some research on it Ill call you back. She NEVER called me back. If she could not do the cake she should have at least called me and let me know. The following week I called Mc Kays Bakery and they were amazing!! !!

Cookies and cheesecakes are addicting...my favorite dessert place!!!..but the soups are good too ...great for a quick stop for lunch and snacks..

Got two cakes done and they came out perfect just how I imagined them and they tasted incredible!! Will continue to buy my cakes here

1/4 of a sheet of cake wasnt worth $30 dollars I was better off going to HEB for a nice tasty cake.

Customer service is extremely poor! We ordered cupcakes for 7 yr olds Birthday with a Minecraft design & got them but with swastikas......definitely not what we ordered, & one of the workers there even said they looked like swastiks to her!! They would not even try to work with us to make it right! Will absolutely never use them again!

This review has been a long time coming and shouldve been written a year ago. I am fixing to order another one of my daughters birthday cakes from them and decided I needed to finally give my review! Last year for my daughters first birthday, I had a birthday cake disaster at another bakery in town that was suppose to make my daughter a camo birthday cake (her name is Hunter) hence the camo, I brought in a design and everything and the other bakery said they could do it no problem and it would be perfect. I went in on that Thursday to pick it up before the party on Saturday and almost started to cry or laugh I wasnt sure which I wanted to do when they brought the cake out. It literally looked like my daughter had done the artwork on the cake herself and looked nothing like the design I had brought in or even camo at that, it was a forest possibly with a target on top of some of the trees on one side and it was just BAD. Im not a picky mom, I wouldve understood if it didnt look exactly like the design, but at least similar and at least look professional. So I immediately started calling around to pay whatever price it would take to make another cake at that point I didnt care long as we could have one done that would look presentable for her first birthday. That first one is a pretty big deal and there were a lot of guests that would be seeing this cake. I was able to contact Creative Cakes and they looked at the same design and Saturday morning when I picked up her cake I did cry, because it was so much more than even expected with such a short notice and turn around and the price wasnt bad either. I would highly recommend them to anybody and am calling them today to have them do her cake for this years birthday, as well!! Thank you ladies of Creative Cakes of Abilene and I am so sorry it has taken me this long to write this review!!!
