Just bought a new Ariens Zero Turn on 7/21/2021. Mower was damaged on 8/30/2021. Called Smith Outdoor & Mathew picked the mower up on 09/01. All maintenance & repair was completed including having LED headlights installed. Mathew called today and will deliver my mower on Monday, 09/13.Mathew is super nice to deal with! Ive dealt with him several times in the past. Anyway, kudos to Mathew & the service department!

Earlier this month I was looking for a mower at Smith Outdoor Power Equipment and I was approached by Brian asking if he could help me find a mower. I told Brian I really wanted a Gravley HD mower but they were sold out sadly. He asked for my name and number to call me back when they restocked. On 07/19/2021 I got a call from Brian saying they just got the mower in stock. I quickly went to Smith Outdoor Power Equipment and was very pleased with my purchase. Just wanted to say thank you again Brian for calling me back and I recommend this Smith Outdoor Power Equipment if you are looking for a mower they really do treat you right.

I took my wright stander I in for a hydraulic service and to sharpen the blades. Took 2 days, which isnt that big of deal, but instead of sharpening the blades they replaced them. Without authorization first. I would have bought blades but I was not asked before hand, they were just replaced and of course I was charged for them. I was also charged for 2 hydraulic filters instead of one. When I picked up it was close to the end of the day, but 2 employees basically argued of who needed to help me. Just check me out please. I dont care who it is. The cushion was removed and partially put back on. The bolts were literally barely even started. This was my first and last time back. I am usually understanding but there was no remorse or urgency for replacing and charging for parts that were not authorized. Bad service.

They had what we were looking for in stock. The customer service was really outstanding. Employees had superior product knowledge. They were also very handicapped friendly. I use a wheelchair, and they moved things around so I could access them better. I Highly recommend them.

I drug my feet on this purchase for quite some time. The salesperson was good about staying in contact with me about the mower we had discussed, and not pushy or overly bothersome neither. When I initially inquired about this particular mower, they were able to accommodate my myriad of questions easily. At last, I finally decided to buy the mower and called my salesman. They had it ready to roll when I arrived, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I would recommend them to a friend.

I wish I could rate this place a zero. We had several pieces of equipment in here and they never fixed them right. Customer service was HORRIBLE. They are very rude and honestly I don’t know if they even know what they are doing when it comes to small engine repair.

Best around for outdoor power equipment. Ordered a new chainsaw during their spring sale. Came in earlier than expected. Brian even hooked up my 7 year old with a Stihl hat.Homeowners and professionals alike won’t be disappointed.

Stood in line with 3 other people for 20 minutes. None of even acknowledged by the 3 people behind the counter, or the guy trying to sell a customer something waiting for him to look. Customer service, manners and multitasking may be a good thing for them to teach their staff.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a while. Picked my mower up from being serviced and it had oil everywhere and the oil cap wasn’t screwed down. Funny how i notice it running weird and not the mechanic who drove it to the trailer. Definitely treated as a number not a customer!

Best company that West Texas has to offer for small engine repair.My pressure washer dropped off for repairs at 10 am on busy Monday morning. They called around 1:00 pm same day that it was ready. I picked it up at 2 pm and put it to work. Functions perfectly now. Four hours, fifty bucks - Ill take that deal anytime. Oliver is the Man!

My experience was not what expected I went to bye some seals for. My 5 hp engine and the person that was helping me was rude and he seem to not care that I was a customer so I wont go back if all Im going to get is rudeness from that business this sales person wouldnt compare my seal to the 1000s that they had it as not worth his time

Terrible place. After waiting 2 weeks to get something repaired i had to call and check on it. They gave me the estimate. After another week and a half i had to call back to check on it. they said it was ready but never called me to tell me. When I picked it up, the cost was twice what the estimate was. I can understand $10 to even $30 more but this was terrible. I could have bought new equipment for what I had to pay. Not to mention the terrible customer service. Every time I went in, there are several people behind the counter but they take forever to get to you. Absolute worst experience Ive had with service in Abilene. Will never go back.

Riding lawnmower was left for over a month... Never received a phone call from them at any time. I finally decided to call to hear that my mower is ready. I go to pick up my mower the same evening only to show up to find both front tires flat, one of which was 2 weeks old when I dropped it off, the other I was aware may not be good and asked them to go ahead and fix it if it wasnt. They drove the mower into the shop on the flat tires to try and air them up... Neither of which would hold air... The new tire they couldnt even get the bead to set because it was wallowed out ( from driving it flat ) only to tell me that it doesnt hurt to drive them on flats!! They must have been bad already! They did not treat me respectfully and did not even try to make things right. I told them me nor my family and friends would ever return and I would refer anyone somewhere else and they didnt seem to mind. Definitely, if you care about your equipment, take it somewhere else!!!

I picked up my Troybilt RIding mower today and everything seems to now work ok. I had to take it back twice to get every thing fixed and properly adjusted. It is an older mower and I will probably get a new on in a year or two.

Up front and honestThat did not happen here and I will never go back nor do I recommend this place.So let me do it for themThey charge 20 an item just to look at it, they take 40 out of your account per item just to drop it off. AFTER they take your money out and you sign the paper work then they tell you how long it will be before they would even get to it.I got a call two weeks after drop off the one item the repair costs were as much to just buy a new one the other was reasonable but when I called back he told me it would be 200 not 75 and that it needed a motor. 200 is what I paid for it New!!!!!!Just a bad experience all around and it doesnt look like either one of my machines were even looked at.And I didnt leave them there so they could make 40 off me just to look at it then sell them refurbished.

Mower has spent as much time mowing as in their shop. Poor service department, repair time in weeks not days. Every time I use them the always say we are backed up, sorry. Really you need to hire more honest people. Still upset being billed for repairs not done and when confronted with the problem, they denied it is Ill I gave them proof. i would recommend different service department to anyone looking.
