Dont bother. He was supposed to be a 2 stroke expert. I had 2 stroke 2001 Johnson that would not go into gear. Left it here last year for a few days. After $270 repair I brought it home and was no different than when I took it there. I got on internet and found the linkage specs and youtube instructions for setting the lower unit shift rod and did it myself in about 2 hours.
