I’ve always liked the service that this shop gave me, it was never a hassle and they sometimes did small extra things for me.However when I took my car the most recent time, for an oil change, just after detailing every inch of it, I had noticed a huge scratch in my door, down to the metal. I was outraged because I love my car and take very good care of it. I immediately took it to Big O Tires and the manager very politely told me to take it to another local business to get a quote to fix it. I had been immediately relieved had how good I was about to be treated by Big O Tires.I was wrong.I then hear my phone ring several days later about how they positively can’t be liable for the scratch. I then proceeded to once again be disappointed with this business.Do not ever come here, if you care about your car.

230pm.on a Saturday.... they close at 4pm, I am on the side of the road with a blow out and 40 mins away. Joseph is one of my hero for today. Not ONLY was he the only tire shop with the EV tires but they stayed late (almost an hour for me to arrive) and put new shoes on this girl. Thank you for everything (my day has been nothing but break downs, Radiator leak this morning 8hr down time).I usually dont do much with big chain companies just I like to support the smaller guys, but I have to tell you here lately they have been changing my mind... thanks again

My friend just had her car repair screwed up and they are saying that they wont remedy the problem cause it wasnt there mistake. Very rude and totally not worth the money.

We were on the road from Kansas going to AZ to see my daughter who is military. We found out at a stop to get Starbucks that a rear tire was flat. A lady told me to go to Big Os. The guys did us a solid by not only fixing the tire but they did it for free. Which was super super helpful and greatly appreciated! Thank you soooooo much

I went to big o tires today to get alignment done on the back wheels and they came up with a big list of work that needs to be done, inner and outer tie rod ends needed to be replaced which has nothing to do with the back end, said my transmission is leaking, engine leaking oil at the oil pan and filter, they said my shocks are leaking. Took it to a actual mechanic and he put it on the rack transmission is not leaking, shocks are not leaking and the only part of the oil pan thats leaking is the drain plug, my tie rod ends are good but the boot has a little crack, my vehicle has been driving perfect just wanted a rear wheel alignment. So big o tires will not get my business, they just wanted to get $600 out of my pocket

Big o tires in Alamogordo New Mexico is horrible. They’ve messed up more cars than fixed them. The manger there has no manners and won’t admit to fault of him and his employees. I hope you never have tire problems if you do go to discount tire.

Very happy with Big-O as always the previous owners had sold it that Ive always worked with and have given them a lot of different business over the years. I was extremely happy with the service associate tech as well as the service of putting my new tires on my rim. I know sometimes low profile tires are difficult, however from my suv to my cars always awesome appriciative service.

Recently went for an oil change and had a coupon for free tire rotation, multipoint inspection and I asked them to check brakes while they had tires off. When I picked the car up asked how the brakes looked the cashier didnt know and there was no paperwork on it, he had to check with the mechanic. When I got home I checked under the hood and they hadnt even filled the windshield washer fluid and there was spilled oil everywhere. This is a good place for tires but dont think I will take back for oil changes or other maintenance.

This is the second time I’ve been here for an oil change. Last time I didn’t make an appointment and it took them an hour and a half to do it. This time I decided to be smart and make an appointment. It was set for 4pm and I got here 15 minutes early to turn in the keys. I came back at 5:10 and they still never got to my car. I guess it’s time to find another place to get an oil change.

Joseph is the best. He is very professional in how he treats people even after the store is closed. Getting some tires put on this RV and an hour and a half after store was closed 2 younger males came in and needing a valve stem repaired, it was sure ok and thats how he handled it... nice to see people like this in the customer service field.

IF YOU ARE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY/VETERAN/VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DO NOT COME HERE !!!My husband and I are both active duty military and we have been to this location now three times. Every time that we have been to this location they failed to do what we paid for.We are both highly insulted, as we are sacrificing our time and lives for the manager Joseph and his employees who are giving customers un finished work and skipping attention to detail yet charging full price. If we as military members rushed and didn’t do our job properly like this location then a lot of lives would be at stake. Friday 27 November 2020 was the last time that we will be giving them our service.This location failed to put us in the system for an oil change appointment with a tire rotation for 27 November 2020 even though we set up the appointment earlier in the week.The day of our appointment on 27 November we were there from 10 a.m to 12:30 p.m because Joseph the manager did not give his employees that were working on our truck, the details for the work we requested to have done. We picked up the truck and paid over $114.00 and checked the work that had been done while we were still in the parking lot and we noticed that the tires had not been rotated like we requested and the tires had not been deflated and inflated with nitrogen like we paid for.Joseph the manager apologized and said it was his fault and we had to wait another hour and a half for them to complete the job. During the wait the employee who was working on our truck was complaining to his peer right next to us about how the manager was rushing them to get cars in and out and that it’s affecting the work being done. He then proceeded to talking about the president and the Mexicans coming over the border and getting people sick.Then, on 28 November my husband noticed that our brand new Tacoma truck was missing the valve stem cap that match the rims not the cheap plastic and the tire pressure sensors were indicating the wrong tire locations. We then had to call and let them know and drive 30 minutes back to this location so they can fix it.Joseph the manager fixed it and apologized and that was all. You would think after giving a customer unfinished service three appointments in a row that he would offer something more than an apology but no.We will not be returning and we will be advertising to every military page in holloman afb not to come to this location for ANY car service.

If you value your time, stay away. Appointment at 1000. Show at 1000. Told, 20 minute wait until the car is done with its oil change. 1 hour later, they say the car is next in line. 30 minutes after that, they say the same thing again. I tell them Im walking across the street to go shopping heres my number, as they say itll only be another 20 minutes. 45 minutes later, no call; walk back in and they say its now ready. Over 3 hours spent for what was a scheduled 20 minute appointment. Stay away if you value your time.

Really great service and prices. Took in my Jeep for an alignment and the tie rod bar was so rusted it snapped off when they tried to loosen it up. Luckily they let me order one I have had my eye on for a while and installed it for me free of charge I just paid for the alignment. Just called back a few weeks later after installing some new parts and they offered to do the alignment for free. Pretty awesome deal and the guys are pretty nice there.

Took my work truck in a little over a month ago. Had all new rotars, brakes and an oil change done for around $1200. The brakes have squeaked and squealed ever since. Finally couldn’t take it anymore and dropped it off to warranty the front brake pads and rotars. Well, I dropped it off Friday around 3pm for scheduled Saturday service. Received a call today (Saturday) about 4pm saying they can’t do it today and they wanted to hold it over the weekend to service Monday—not possible as it’s my work truck. Very unhappy with the quality and service at this specific Big O Tire! I would highly recommend going elsewhere for service.

Sent a relative in for flat tire repair. Guy comes out and says car needs new brakes, drums, rotors. Bill was going to be 579.00. I told her to get a second opinion. She went down the road and guys are changing front brakes,(spinning the rotors, not replace like Big O says), and drums are good (not bad, like Big O claims..) Moral of the story being, not every business is an honest one. Search YouTube and see how many people have been misled like Big O attempted. The final bill from competitor was $175. Quality work by an honest company!!

Wow! What an amazing experience! I can’t thank your staff enough for the over the top service I received on my visit. Not only did they go above and beyond but they treated me with so much respect. After leaving a competitors store which I was treated terribly to say the least, I immediately called & went over to Big O. There I was greeted with the most polite & upbeat service members. They knew me by name from the phone call, got me in immediately & had me on my way no questions asked within 20 minutes. Not only that but they offered a military discount as well which is always greatly appreciated on my end. Had appointment for oil change and brake bleed. Left vehicle there for 5 hours and they never got to it so I took it somewhere else.

I had to pop in to this location this morning to have my air pressure checked, as the indicator on my vehicle was telling me back right tire was low. They re-calibrated my tire sensors so they would reflect the correct tires. Filled my tire without delay. Super kind, I am very grateful! Thank you

We were passing through in our motor home when we encountered a death wobble. I called and spoke to Joseph and even though it was 3:30 on a holiday Saturday, he told us to come on in. We ended up having to get a lot of work done there and are very pleased! They were extremely knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. The prices were fair and the work was done in a timely fashion. If we are ever passing through again and need any work done, we would not hesitate to have it done by the guys at Big O Tires in Alamogordo, NM!

First they quoted me one price over the phone, and when I showed up it was literally twice as much. Waited for 4hr 15min, Not once did they give me an update about what was going on. I wouldn’t have waited had they mentioned this was going to take an excessive amount of time.

Theyve earned my loyalty.

They gave me an excellent price on an oil change, the lowest in town. A few weeks later one of my tires was about to burst and they gave me a good deal to get it replaced and my tires aligned. To top it off they went the extra mile to offer to drop me off if I didn’t want to wait at the shop and also to drop my car off if I wouldn’t be back in time to pick it up before closing. They are very friendly and this is the only place in town I’ll go to get my car worked on.

Too slow. Put someone ahead of me. Typical wait is 1 1/2 hrs just for oil change and tire rotation. Didnt even check my air filter. I had to ask about everything. People are very nice. Just bad wait time.

I cant thank Anthony and Joe enough for helping us out during spring break when our breaks went bad. They really went above and beyond for us that day and it was truly memorable. We cant thank them enough for that type of service.

With your coupons an oil change by you is about the same as Walmart. I much prefer being able to make and appointment for an oil change and get it done fairly fast.

SO THANKFUL FOR THIS SHOP!!!!My friend and I are road tripping from Ohio to Arizona and we had a flat tire. Hours after, finally get a tow to Walmart with so many unanswered questions. Walmart auto center was closed, so we left the car then and got a room for the night. When we got up we called Big O tires, and they made us feel safe and secure with someone coming to pick us up, then 2 more guys to go and get the car . My ma and I are from out of town and brought our motorhome here when the brake light went on at the bottom of the mountain. Big O staff determined that we needed to replace the rotors, front brakes, and a couple other things for a total of $1100. Quite a bit of money for us, but functioning brakes through the mountains are obviously crucial. We were going to come back the next day to get that work done, but after getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion, it became clear that we were being swindled. None of those things needed to be replaced at all. BEWARE: dishonest staff will take advantage of they can!

You pay $750 for 4 new tires that have no traction and the freaken place doesnt even align the vehicle after you pay that? Like WHAT!!!??? YEAH PAY AN ADDITIONAL $100 to have our car aligned aftsr paying 750 for new tires. Went for oil change they were attempting to put wrong filter on thank God it was caught. I gave them a second chance and my vehicle specifies to use 5w20 they put 5w30. You get worse mileage with that HEREs the kicker (5w 20 is written on the oil cap from the manufacturer.) Only untrained people make mistakes like this. Only one guy knows their doing, that is Roy if hes still there . Multiple employees are super young and unskilled. Finally the manager and one specific employee have super piss poor attitudes

Few times I have been to their place it has always been very friendly but in a very professional way as well.They go out of their way truly searching how they can help you especially when my car is 21 years old and I take good care of it and still want to do thatFor an old-timer like me who pays a lot of attention to what goes on in our town of Alamogordo...
