Went into this store to browse around and my bf and I immediately felt judged by the male employee working there. Although I greeted him with a friendly hello and a wave this person barely greeted us and we felt eye-balled the entire time. We quite possibly didn’t fit the upscale mold they seem to cater to. Other customers were greeted in an energetic, friendly manner which made us feel even more unwelcome. I find it ironic that this shop supports fair trade and ethically sourced items but does not treat all customers equally or with respect. Very weird, uncomfortable experience. Will not be going back and would never recommend.

A wonderful selection of products and very helpful staff. Theres truly something for everyone at Ten Thousand Villages, and you can feel good about spending your money there.

Beautiful store but their prices have jumped exponentially over the past ten years. The artisans should be paid fair wages, but theyve priced themselves out of my market!

It is a nice store with lots crafts. but here is my shopping experience. :( I bought 3 pairs of earring and one necklace as xmas gifts for my friends a week before xmas. when i checked out, i asked cashier if there are gift boxes for earrings and necklace I bought, answer is NO, gift boxes they have are only for silver earrings, meant only more expensive stuff deserve a gift box. Okay, thats fine, i said. but 2 days later, my friend got one pair of same kinda earring from this place, even less expensive than I bought, with a gift box. jeez, I was totally speechless. I am sure I will not go back there again.
