Best liquor store and prices around. The owner, Nick, is a down to earth great guy that does what he can to accommodate his customers. I live 25 minutes from here and drive past multiple liquor stores to go to Smiths!

Although I am not a drinker, I absolutely appreciate this store for allowing me to help others by keeping the boxes intact which I have used to help people move. Kudos to them for helping me help others!!!

Smiths is a great local liquor store in colonie. From the management to the staff is great! Huge selection, great prices, cant beat it!

This is easily the best liquor store around. They actually engage with customers; considering adding products they like, having regular sampling events to introduce you to new products, or simply helping you find what you need.

They were helpful. Well stocked. I even tried tasting 4 wines and ended up buying a few more bottles for our inventory at home. Good, reasonable prices, too.

They have so many Stella Rosa flavors, Absolutely love this liquor store. They have more flavors than Park Wine & Liquor. Smiths also has a variety of flavors in the Absolute Juice vodka...i barely find this anywhere else

The owner is fantabulous!!! I asked him if he could get bigger bottles of vanilla vodka and he did. I dont have to spend as much money because I dont have to buy my vodka as often. He is down to earth and very helpful. They have weekly taste testing of different kinds of alcohol... not just wine...

THE place to go for good service and prices. Owner very helpful as to questions I have about wines. And it is family owned which makes it even better to shop there.

Lovely experience here this morning, I came in here in a rush looking for gifts for a housewarming party. The prices were so good compared to what Im used to that I bought more than I had planned and the service from the owner was exceptional as well. He helped me pick out liquors based on my friends tastes. And BONUS POINTS: they even carried my favorite wine, Jacobs Creek Double Barrel Cabernet!!!!!!! (Super hard to find in other shops nearby)

I travel for work to Albany each week, and have found Smith Colonie Liquor to be my only liquor store I will stop at during my stay. From day 1, the owner welcomes me every time I enter, has had suggestions for my specific tastes, and has even order items not already in his store. Stopped by to check the bourbon selection and was asking about a special release bottle of high west. The owner who was a nice guy said the didn’t have it, but just got their shipment for pappy in and was really nice to offer me a bottle. I happily answered yes and upon checkout informed me the total was $350 before tax for 12 year. MSRP from buffal trace is $65. That is crazy second hand prices before it even leaves the store. No thanks I’ll look elsewhere.
