They have the best burgers in town and I really like the small town image of this place. Great place overall, just need to fix a couple of order accuracy issues.

Takes a while to get your food unless you call ahead. Food is amazing and staff are very friendly. They have the best burgers and ice cream! Prices are not too bad either.
Food is always good. Its clean and fairly quick. Drive thru for best experience.When parking to walk up and order, please dont block the circle around the building. Park out front or to the sides out of the way. Thanks!

I bought 3 specials, all burgers. Theyre always on point and really good!! I always get no mayo and its always labeled so I dont have to open other plates to find mine. They use steak fries too which I love. But they have a lot more to choose from than that, great menu! Onion rings are really good and Big Mikes Loaded Potato is good too.

The actual food here is just okay. The shakes are good but nothing to make a special trip for. Unless you order ice cream or a hot dog, expect a really long wait. Today we ordered a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger and waited more than 30 minutes. Its like that everytime we order something other than ice cream. The fries were cold and soggy and we only had a 10 min drive home, so they couldnt have been fresh. The worst part is that while we were waiting, we had a chance to see how many flies were inside where the food was being made (also trapped between the window and their inside signage) It was so gross. I really want to like this place and we keep trying it out every few months, but I think this will be the last time for me. Oh and my chicken sandwich was made wrong also. It had a TON of mayo on it and was supposed to have honey mustard. So after waiting forever and thinking about how many flies had probably been on the produce, my food wasnt even edible.

Best fried chicken in the south
Awesome food & great lunch deals! Their ice cream is amazing. We love to get the chicken wings, especially during football season. I stop by here anytime Im in Alex City for lunch, and eat under the shade tree. Their burgers & hamburger steaks are real meat, and their chicken tenders are real chicken. Its great food at great prices! Definitely where the locals eat!

I called my order in at 7:11 PM and sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes and didn’t receive my food until 7:50 PM. She told us our food was being made fresh and once I got my food I checked and everything was cold and the corn nuggets were extremely burnt and cold on the inside. I called back and asked why my food was cold if it was made fresh and she couldn’t give me a answer as to why it was cold but made she to tell me that it was made fresh. My food shouldn’t be cold if it was made fresh.

Its good. I worked here years ago and would give it 10 stars then. The seasonings are no longer in the meats like we did them, but the food is still good. Beats eating at some other local establishments by a long shot!
Outstanding food and shakes (nothing beats crinkle fries) but seemed to take a really long time for our order. Noticed a lot of people had call ins, so will do that from now on. Definitely will go back though, not a lot of great places to eat in this town. Shakes include butterscotch, blueberry, banana, and more; some flavors cant be found elsewhere. Though they offer extra thick shakes for 20 cents more... the regular was quite thick enough, nearly needed a spoon (or a drill)

My wife and I ordered the Hamburger Steak w/ gravy & onions. It was great!! The portions are bigger and the prices are cheaper than Bucks. Its well worth the extra drive to eat at the Dairy Creem vs Bucks.

Meh my bf hyped this place up but its pretty average greasy food. Shakes are okay. Always have problems w the straws being to small. And they use styrofoam everything which is way worse than plastic or paper..... and the lady that took our order was lazy. We ordered large shakes but got medium. So we went up and played the difference. We got our food pretty quick but she forgot our extra fries and had to pay for that and wait slightly longer. But price wise its pretty decent.

Got a dipped cone. Very waxy with no flavor. The wax stuck on the roof of my mouth. The vanilla ice cream was good however the dip ruined it.

I use to live here in this town and would always come here after college classesto grub out. Stopped here to grub out after 9 years and the food is still just as awesome. Keep up the good service and food!

The staff is pretty rude. When you ask questions about what is included in a meal, they seem to be annoyed. My co-workers used to order lunch for delivery all of the time until 3 of them got sick from eating there recently. Food is greasy and tasteless. There is no love in the food. If you have a business, you should treat your customers with resepct and appreciation. I will never eat here again.
I use to work here and I knew the owner; all he cares about is money, quality and fresh food is not important here. Majority of the reason why I pass it on the way thru Alexander City. This and my terrible experience as an employee, is the particular establishment and the Mikes Big BBQ repeats old food and/or uses the last of EVERYTHING even if its slightly out of date. Makes me question if they pay the health inspectors in town, because numereous people have acquired food poison eating here. If youre hungry enough or desperate enough to eat here, live your free will life!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!! Most employees that dont stay unless they are getting paid more, which explains the ability to maintain employees. The inability to maintain employees has ALWAYS been a problem and its visual how people are treated; unless youre the owners favorite.
