Love this store! This location is a decent size, very clean, and extremely peaceful. In the past I’ve been here for over an hour at a time, and no one bothers you. All the employees are warm and welcoming, and if I needed to locate a specific book, they were always happy to help. If you’re in the mood for something to snack on/drink, they do have a mini Starbucks location inside (no indoor seating due to covid). They also have a great puzzle selection if you like puzzles!

Great that we have a bookstore to visit. Food area is nice too. Only comment is that they seem to favor books on past corrupt presidents and their wives. A bit to left for me. Neutrality is important in sales and they have forgotten that. Going much less now!!

Very nice store. Its clean, well marked as far as categories, and the people are helpful and nice. If you need a book or an educational gift for kids, give this place a go. I truly feel youll be happy you did.

Never go! The clerk refused to return a gift AND I had the receipt. The item was in perfect condition and bought a week prior. I demanded to talk to the manager who simply said, shop Amazon!

Barnes & Noble is one of the most beautiful establishments period not only is it a portal to other worlds and ideas through its books, it is usually community hub. Society would not exist without places like Pokemon of societys builders! Its a perfect representation of continuing on the coffee house culture

Found the books we needed,cashier real nice and Starbucks Cafe inside book store.

I called last nite to place 9 books on hold. When I arrived this am, they were ready for pick up in customer service. My client is elderly, so before I paid for her books, I asked if they could get a chair for her to sit down. In less than a minute, she was sitting comfortably while I was in line. Thank you Barnes & Noble! We know with covid there are so many necessary rules, but we appreciate the exception.

I found this crazy indie album nobody has ever heard of. Look how wacky this album art is. Isnt that nuts? Ive never seen anything like this before. More people should listen to tunes like this.

Always enjoy browsing around this place to see all of the new books out, and buy those that are of interest to me. Have been a B&N member for several years and the discount comes in handy. This location features a nice sized Cafe with Starbucks drinks and food selections from the Cheesecake Factory.

Love the AV location. The people working at the Customer Help desk are always knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate that.Unfortunately, the check-out person has no business dealing with customers. She is extremely rude, grouchy and has zero people skills.Somebody should tell her that she is able to have that job, because of customers who come into the store to BUY books, etc.She needs a different job that requires no interaction with people.

This place has been open since I was a little kid. I honestly cannot imagine my life in aliso Viejo without it! I lived in the city my entire life, and it has been the mainstay for the town. everyone gathers there, convenes, finds a good book, finds a good hot drink, its an open door to the world! Aliso viejo would not be the same without it!

Very busy. Only one register open due to a system failure, but they did everything they could. Very nice staff.

This is the Barnes & noble at the Grove in Los Angeles. It is close to the Farmers Market on Fairfax st. The Grove and Farmers market are fun places to visit for food, shopping and outdoor seating restaurants

I love their selection of art books, graphic novels & how-to for writers & artists looking to improve their skill set! Friendly & helpful staff, always a huge plus!

Its not a mirage! This book shop is a real Oasis for the techno-slaves because they get to enjoy the universe of books, develop their own conclusions, and discover a myriad of authors with a vast diversity of points of view ... we desperately need tolerance for different points of view now that our society is censoring any person that doesnt hate the conservatives. Theres also a pleasant area for children to enjoy a glimpse of their favorite books, and a coffee shop where to have a yummy bite and relax!

Nice selection of books, forever-packed Starbucks cafe, and always someone near the door for book advertising of some sort. I just wish the books themselves werent so painfully expensive! A regular paperback used to cost about $10-11 a couple years ago and now its hard to find one for less than $20! Ill be sticking to used books but its still fun to browse.

Who doesn’t love going to ‘the last standing bookstore’ before they all go away? Always a pleasure going to this bookstore and all the employees are so willing and helpful in assisting you with any questions regarding books of course! Sure you can inquire about life issues and they will point you so a good self help book!I personally can get lost in this or any bookstore for hours at a time! Be sure to go and enjoy your time at this bookstore!

One of the few brick and mortar bookstores left. Prefect setting for quiet inspiration. Coffee. Pastry and a vast collection of books magazines and good deals. Its not comparable to Powells books in Portland but its a good experience.

Love that you can still walk into a store and flip through real books. My daughter gets so excited about purchasing books in person. The staff here are always pleasant, attentive, and helpful. The Starbucks cafe is a nice bonus too!!

A good place to study and get a drink from Starbucks. I went in there t study for a while and got a Starbucks drink. It was pretty quite and I got a lot of work done. The employees are really nice and will guide you to the book you are trying to find.

Quiet library like feel. Expansive selection. Pleasant, helpful service. You do pay for what you get. Check out the clearance sections for the best deals!

Never had an issue at this business, I love getting my 10% discount for being a member as well. My wife an I try to read books more often so it’s a good feeling to splurge on books!

Take my son every Wednesday pre Covid. Best staff ever. Always kind, considerate and helpful. Yeah, its expensive, but I got a membership and do buy stuff just because its worth dealing with people rather than faceless and heartless Amazon, Ebay, etc. I still take my son out here every Wednesday, at his insistence, so he can stand outside the door to check it still is closed and hasnt reopened yet.

Great bookstore. If they dont have it they will order it for you and you can pick it up in the store or have it shipped directly to your home. They are open late until 10:00pm daily. Sit back and relax with a book or work on your laptop at the in house Starbucks. They have a large comfortable seating area. Enjoy!

Great local bookstore. Friendly associates. Comfortable cafe. Should stay open to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. Even retirees in OC do NOT retire at 9 PM. 5 Stars... except for the hours of operation.

This is the best place to get books, toys to specific characters, and a coffee. It has a relaxed atmosphere and if they dont have the book you are looking for they can get it. If you like bookstores this is the place for you.

Hailey was fantastic. She listened well to find the type of book I was trying to find and suggested other areas I could look. Hailey indicated that there were more options online and she printed me a list. I was unable to find the exact book in the store, but could have any of the online books delivered to my home.

I love the books here! However, all Barnes & Noble bookstores are very expensive. I usually go here to buy a book for my dad because he loves to read. I also like looking at childrens books that I read when I was a kid because I love to be nostalgic. During my childhood, I read a lot of childrens mystery books like Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, and The Boxcar Children. This bookstore has it all! I would also recommend signing up for their membership program. Even though members only get 10% off their entire purchase of books, believe me: getting 10% off is better than getting no discount. Take advantage of the membership and discount!

I love brick and mortar bookstores. Though they are dying due to the success of online shopping and ebooks, I still think there is a value in holding a book physically in your bands as you read it and turning the pages as you go.Barnes & Noble is a great place to explore thousands of books under many genres for your reading pleasure. Its also a great place to read if you go to the coffee shop inside near the entrance (pro tip: you can pay for your other items at the coffee shop if the main desk is swamped).

This is one of my favorite hangouts, you can also find a Starbucks that sells Harney and Sons delicious teas!

I always come here when I need peace and quiet. There is a huge selection of books and they’re always open for browsing. There is seating available though it’s most taken. Recommended if you’re looking for some respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

While it is more common for me to buy books online for my Kindle, sometimes you just need or want a physical book. In this case, the Kindle price was higher than the hardback. If you need a physical book, there are few choices left other than B&N anymore. Its nice to know that they are still there when you need them. Good selection, reasonable prices, and real books. What more can you ask?

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Teenage granddaughter got the books she needed for school and younger brother looked at some books in the area set aside for young readers. Comfortable atmosphere.

Nice when you want to browse or need to find a book same day. They have a Starbucks inside which is always really busy and filled with people. Not conducive to a quiet reading session but the liveliness is appreciated in the usually quiet book store atmosphere.

I love this Barnes and Noble! Its always well stocked, the employees are knowledgeable and nice and there is a Starbucks inside. Their Funko Pop selection is amazing plus they have a large selection of geeky/nerdy graphic novels. I definitely recommend coming here.

Best bookstore ever!

Love this bookstore! I spend a couple of hours every time I come. Theres a coffee counter in store where you can grab a chair and hang out checking out your books. We need to keep patronizing our book stores, or we will no longer have them to enjoy! Buying books online is not the same.
