Dishonest business, they come out for a warranty service and then tell you they are going to charge you because it isnt covered under the so-called warranty. Stay away!

I don’t know who’s that talking on the phone, she is rude just like I owned her 100 billion dollars! I bought dishwasher from them, they told me that they do free start up and adjust.when I finished the appointment, she asked me credit card number, and will charge me $250 for first half hour! It’s so terrible!!! And she used very unfriendly voices told to me, Nobody workout for free! Very bad experience!

Took two Hobart Slicers to be serviced at the Allentown location, charged $104.00 just for small plastic knob, plus labor, after a week or so came back and knife cover fell off again, never put a new threaded bushing on other end, second slice was hard to move carriage it came back the same way no difference and charged over $100, guy came to check first machine again and after spending over an hour looking at it he finally took it with him, it came back again and it fell off again, this is a Slicer and very dangerous for the blade guard to fall off and thats what we needed fixed, called to complain at local and main branch but didnt want to hear it, some guy came and fixed the problem for $30, never again, they said its hard to get parts for but I found all the parts on Amazon and Ebay, never again horrible service!

DO NOT USE THESE SERVICE PROVIDERS!This company is one of the worst restaurant equipment service providers in the industry. It will take several billed services for them correct any problem. You will struggle for service in a timely manner. Usually a 2-3 day wait. My company was once told to call somewhere else, and we were under their contract! The corporate office does not communicate with service, and the CFO of the company may be the rudest person I have dealt with in business in my entire career in the restaurant industry in 20 years. Search around...it will be worth your time and effort.

I called K&D Factory Service for my Commercial Fryer at the recommendation of Anets (Fryers) on 8/10/16. First and foremost, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from IMPOLITE Terry.. she is the WORST!!! she is a poor representation for the company. She LACKS customer service & professionalism. It is my opinion, that she has become complacent in her job and responsibilities, given her years with the company.Weeks in and out.. Technician Rich has NO CLUE of what he is doing!! A month later and my fryer is not fixed. The tech cannot ascertain the cause of the problem. In addition to the fees for being on site, tells me the part will cost (first) $320+, then after the part arrive, while installing it, a coil/wire ignited and blew out. He called me to say, I have good news and bad, Installed new part, then another part ignite and blew out.. the cost for second part is estimated at $125+. WHAT!!!! Now, the question is maybe the first part he changed did not need to be replaced?!! Was it his negligence that other part blew out while installing the new part?? On top of all this, he spends most of his service time on his cell phone consulting about the issue rather than knowing what the problem is and less flipping time fixing the problem.9/8/16 - Technician claimed issue was resolved. So on 9/10, I went to use the Fryer (first time since he claimed to have fixed the issue), the fryer pilot is out and it would not stay on when I tried to ignite the pilot. Called the company, per the emergency response tech, it will be $125 just to come out, plus, add on cost thereafter per hour. WHAT!!! (you can imagine my anger). Refused emergency dispatch and waited untilMonday 9/12: Abrasive Terry answered the phone at 9:06 a.m. .... she said she saw notes from the tech. Asked her if someone can come out today, she stated they are very busy and it will be another several days before she can get someone to come. Is this woman trying to sabotage my business and/or just dont give a crap!! My frustration level was through the roof that 1 month later, I cannot get my fryer fix and nonchalant response to my issue. I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested another tech who knows what the heck he is doing. I asked for the service manager Rick to give me a call. Tuesday 9/13 @ 3:46 p.m. I did not hear back from the company, so I called and spoke with impolite Terry who just happen to answer the phone, abrasive in her tone, she conveyed the service manager was busy yesterday (9/12) and today (9/13)... she will pass the message along.Not even to my worst enemy, I would NEVER recommend this company!! As a new customer, I am flabbergasted and deeply sadden and regret the time wasted in dealing with this company!!! I will contact ANETS to tell them about my dissatisfaction as it relates to their recommendation to use K&D for service.
