I purchased a garden rolling beverage tray for 550.00 in great condition. One of the employees insisted rolling it out to my car, shoved it into the car and throwing the two glass pieces into the back seat. When I got it home the wheels were unlevel and the paint was chipped. Hopefully it can be repaired. It is disappointing.

We had our A/C go out the night before. Called 1st thing in the morning. I was told a service guy would be able to come within :30 minutes. Andy was here sooner than that. He was a really nice guy and was able to get us up and running pretty quickly. Can’t thank Andy enough. We will defiantly call them again if we have any more issues!

They are so welcoming and helpful. I love shopping here and I drive all the way from Snellville.

Cant say enough good things about this store, and the other three locations. The staff is always there to help, and make you feel like family. The inventory is constantly changing, making all of the stores feel like a new store every time time you go. If quality and customer service is what you are looking for, then this is the store for you.

The prices here seem to be reasonable. The ladies that work at this location are helpful but still give you your space and let you look around with out bothering you much

The various types of furniture,drapes, lamps, etc.helps to make Southern Comforts an interesting place to browse through. The staff is helpful in helping customers and polite. Also prices are not above the ceiling. Excellent store to visit.

They will tow your car if you park anywhere close to their store, even though Ive never seen more than a third of their spaces filled up. Shop online, save money amd get a much better selection.

I am very disappointed with your service!!! I purchase something online only to be told that I should have seen the dates they were posting the amounts as it was two years ago, therefore we no longer carry the item. Are you serious!!!! This is not how you do business. Will never shop here again.

I only recently learned about this place and what a wonderful find! They have absolutely gorgeous and great quality furniture and accessories. Ive already purchased several pieces and go back every few weeks to see what new things they have. If I lived closer, Id probably be back every week.

This is a fantastic place to shop for quality furniture and decor. I rely on all their location to help me with staging my listings. They have everything from chandeliers to rugs. Today, I found a perfect retro centerpiece for a dining table in a home I am listing that has a bit dated decorating. Sometimes all it takes to pull a room together is that one perfect piece. The ladies/gentlemen who work for SC take the time to help me find what I am looking for and call me if they get something interesting in that they think I can use. Go check them out. They have 4 locations to visit.

Went there to look at dining room sets, found the merchandise was in nice and clean shape, prices were fair, but honestly, I was put off by being utterly ignored by the gals running the shop floor. On the bright side I was greeted very warmly by a delightful young man that popped his head out of the stockroom when I was at the back of the store, who warmly greeted me, and graciously offered assistance. If I was the shop owner, I think would put him up front with the customers.

The store is a little expensive but fun to look around. The furniture options are abundant. I plan to buy more furniture here come next month!

2.0 star rating 8/30/2017If losing customers is their objective, they are on the right track. I found Southern Comforts Alpharetta store when I moved to Georgia 2 years ago. The first salespeople I met, Leslie and Donna, were very friendly and helpful. I made several purchases and referred other people to the store. Recently I have noticed that the prices have increased dramatically, and customer service has been reduced drastically. I am very disappointed and will no longer recommend this consignment store.

Great selection of nicer stuff

I purchased a couch recently from this store, however, was picking it up at a later date than the purchase date. I had an emergency financial situation come up with my vehicle. I called and spoke to the manager explaining my situation and asked for a refund since I had not picked up the couch yet and they refused to give me one because of an All Sales are FINAL policy. The couch was not a consigned piece but a new couch they sold for retail price. They suggested I re-consign the piece for 50% of my purchase price once it sold! I thought that was a terrible business practice! On top everything the couch came with throw pillows, however, they priced the throw pillows seperatly and did not inform me so I assumed I would receive the matching throw pillows to my couch, but they were not included when my couch was delivered. I called and spoke to the manager again and asked why the pillows didnt come with the couch and they said that they charge extra for the pillows! One would assume that when purchasing a $1,000 dollar couch the matching throw pillows would be included. All in all the experience wasnt as pleasant as it should have been, definitely wouldnt send me friends and family there.

Eclectic shop full of interesting furniture and decorations at fair prices. Staff works hard to help you find the piece or look that you desire.

We bought a living room set - sofa, loveseat and single w/ ottoman. To our supersize, two weeks later we leaned that the exact sofa sells brand new for $50 cheaper! the loveseat is $10 cheaper! (buying brand new - not used like we got)Called and explained (very politely) our findings and all we got back was all sales are final and the manager/owner/whoever will call you during the week - we never heard from them. We did not ask about returning the set - but did at least expect store credit.needless to say, I will never be visiting Southern Comforts consignments again.update: $100 store credit... we wont be wasting our time collecting it.

I would have given them 5 stars if it werent for the fact that the following day after my visit I decided to ask about 3 peices that I wanted to purchase and I wanted them to hold those pieces for me until I could come into the store since I live over an hour away and I was told to either come in or look on the web (basically too lazy to go look....poor customer service).
