Fantastic coffee shop! Great selection of tea and coffee as well as some nice pastries breakfast/lunch meals. Plus, great vibe and feel indoors with nice spacious layout, mix of different types of chairs and tables, and overall just a nice space to hang out with friends or do work.

This is hands down the best coffee I ever had as a coffee drinker! I drove from Virginia to metro Atlanta to check out this coffee shop and I order a coffee and bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was toasted perfectly and coffee OMG kept me awake! One of the co owners I met Sophia is so down to earth and sweet personality. I highly recommend anyone from metro Atlanta or out of state to check this place!

There was a small miss communication issue in the beginning with curbside but we all make mistakes so I wasn’t upset BUT due to the way my egg looked that came inside my bacon egg and cheese Croissant I don’t think they liked me very much even though I was pretty nice. The coffee wasn’t bad but after seeing what I was eating I was scared to finish it. Looking at the photos in previous reviews no one else’s egg looks like that. Almost $20 gone to waste, so disappointed. Would NEVER come here again. -1/10 hoping I don’t have food poising.

I used to love this place, but no one behind the counter is wearing a mask, during a pandemic. I really hope theyll rethink their policy on this and care about the health and safety of their customers.I walked out without ordering.

I went in today and had a cappuccino and a banana nut chocolate chip muffin while I closed on an insurance lead, both were tasty. The atmosphere and customer service was great. I will be back soon.

I absolutely love this place! Its a relaxing atmosphere with great coffee, delicious food, and friendly staff. They play a wide variety of music at a volume that is perfect for working along to. Their sourdough bread is freshly made by a local baker and is sublime. So glad this place moved into the neighborhood!

DO NOT GO HEREI cannot emphasize it enough! This is the most corrupt and poorly run coffee shop the state of Georgia. As their bio says, the owners are retired stuntmen, NOT effective coffee shop owners. As an ex-employee here, I’ve had the WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE HERE. The owners are fake and lead you on to believe that they create a wonderful working environment…FALSE. Their severe nepotism and lack of scheduled breaks aren’t even the worst of it. They promised regular pay once a week, but instead they paid me THRICE in a TWO MONTH PERIOD. THAT IS ILLEGAL. There coffee and food are overpriced and low quality, their best products are the pastries, and they’re not even made in store. There is NO system in place or adequate training for cooks or baristas. The kitchen is filled with junk faulty equipment, as is the bar with a subpar leaky espresso machine. Do not even waste your money here, supporting these illegal business practices. When I gave my notice, I was very unfairly and rudely treated and was finally screamed at to “GET THE F’ OUT,” while inside the store for all customers to hear. I was later cursed out by the other business partner, when requesting the payment (which I’m still owed.) I cannot express the utter disgust I have for this establishment. I will NEVER be back.

Cool little coffee shop with an industrial feel and a great vibe. Love that they had a live band on a Sunday afternoon and I was told that starting in January it will be a weekly Sunday thing.They have an interesting menu with a few different items; a honey latte, which is a latte with honey, a flaming mocha, which is a mocha with cayenne, and a flu shot, which is the honey latte with cayenne. I love a drink with a kick so I went for a small flaming mocha. It had a good kick of cayenne, but I found the mocha itself rather weak and watery.My disappointment with Ground & Pound is that no matter what size beverage you order, it’s only one shot of espresso in the drink. I went with a small because I enjoy a strong coffee flavor, and I figure, why pay $.95 more for extra milk to water it down. In the small that I ordered, the coffee/mocha flavor was weak and watery. I can’t imagine how minimal the flavor would have been with the addition of more milk. I plan to give them another try because of all the five star reviews, and the place seems to have potential. I’m hoping today my coffee was just an off day.

Amazing food and great coffee. I love that small businesses are moving back into communities around Atlanta. I always feel welcomed and my dollars feel appreciated.

This is definitely our new local coffee spot. Both owners and staff are super friendly. We have tried a variety of drinks and foods, and have been happy every time. Will definitely keep coming back!

If you love Starbucks, you’ll like their coffee. Breakfast menu is better than Starbucks and good meals but don’t expect a freshly made bagel store quality. Just a little above average. Nice decor and very friendly staff.

The atmosphere was really cool! And all of the staff was super nice. We had a lavender iced latte which tasted exactly like how we like it. We also had the Dr.24 and it is actually really good. Ill definitely come back!

All I can say is their coffee is better than Starbucks. Im a daily espresso lover at least twice a day. I love my press and drip coffee and a good quality bean, fllavor coffee is a must. This place really is good. I wish they were open now honestly. Try them out, if nothing else the food is definitely better than Sttarbucks.

If you live in the East Roswell area, or near Johns Creek, please add this local coffee shop into your rotation. The coffee is way better than Starbucks (quality) and the owners are often working there right alongside their employees. You are treated like a guest-and not like a number-which makes it worth it, besides that it’s a good thing to support local businesses during this time.

Although I like to give it a better Review… The atmosphere was good and the food was good but the Tea I got was watered down and no real flavor of hibiscus or raspberry. Service is slow but I sure when things pick up service will pick up..they are a local Mom & Pop shop and need more support. I will be back to try some coffee.

I don’t know how they do it...It’s just two them, Curtis and Sophia, and they are excellent — whether it be exceptional customer service, or crafting exquisite beverages. They have since expanded their food menu as well, and I am currently taking bites of a delicious breakfast sandwich that Sophia whipped up for me, and sipping on a Cool Sophia.I love this place, and have been a loyal customer since I first stepped into their old location, on Spalding Drive, on December of 2018 — and placed my first order, a 16 oz matcha latte.When I went in to order today, it was extremely busy. However, instead of being overwhelmingly frustrated with the surge of customers pouring in, they were pumped. Excited. In their element, and proud owners who were doing what they love. I was even asked about my recent injury, and was let known that my order was being prepared — this type of courtesy makes you feel like an individual, not just a number in line.Check this place out. You can order anything and fall in love with it.

Today was my first day in the Ground and Pound coffee. The owners are very nice and personable. Atmosphere was fun and relaxing. I highly recommend this place! I hate I dont live near here and was only in the area for today. Otherwise this would be my go to place! This is a high end coffee place that beats any chain. Def check it out! I got the honey latte which was amazing. I love they have different milks (soy, almond, coconut, oat) too that are nice options for df people.

The owner of this place is wonderful and the coffee and atmosphere are great. We were patrons when they were at their original location (Federal coffee) and love the new location. We drove by hoping it was open (its grand opening ended up being the next day) and the owner toured us around and made us espresso. Delightful! Rooting for them.

Found a coffee place that made you feel so relax and not too crowded. The coffee is smooth, and it never bothered my stomach even I dont ate anything and just drink their coffee. The coffee is sooo good! The ambiance and coffee over all is perfect.

Barista Shiloh was super helpful in picking out my iced tea. Curtis came in while I was there and he is a great guy. Ground and Pound has a great atmosphere and I expect to spend a lot less time at Starbucks. :)

Thoroughly enjoyed my chai latte and my partners vanilla latte was very much to his liking. Not cloyingly sweet like some other coffee shops. The owners are friendly and informative and the location is primo. We were informed that in 2020 they will begin serving breakfast including quiche. This has become our go-to coffee place!

A vanilla latte with caramel. Rings me up then looks at me and says just so you know this isn’t Starbucks. Excuse me? I’m sorry you think I ordered wrong. East Roswell has hardly any local places. My bad for trying to support one. You can guarantee I won’t be back

I have never had such a flavorful chai latter (masala chai)! My taste buds were in heaven. I was a little hesistant to order since I dont like spicy but the owner was super informative and friendly. She described it so well. When I was done with it, I was craving it. It has been a week and I am still thinking about it. Cant wait to try some other menu items. The place is so charming... very nicely decorated.
