We purchased 4 bird houses from Yard Envy spending more than $200 in total. While the bird houses are shown in outdoor settings they cannot stand-up to the weather. All had quickly deteriorated within a year and had to come down. They are made of cheap plywood that quickly delaminates when exposed to weather. The cute decorative elements fair out even worse. The Bird houses, all made by HB, include the Brighton Beach Huts, Beach Sand Dollar, Beach Sea Horse, and Lobster Cottage. A fifth bird house was given as a gift and faired out no better. We spoke to a Yard Envy rep who deferred the issue to a supervisor who never called us back.Stay away from these bird houses unless you plan to display indoors.
I had lots of great help purchasing several commercial blue c7 or c9 not sure. After setting up these lights indoors to be used only during business hours, several lights on one string started burning out. I contacted customer service and asked if there was any way I could replace these burnt out lights that are supposed to burn for a very long time.I was totally ignored. 2 more tries to get help from customer service, but no luck.Yard envy customer service will loose alot if business for this company. That girl they have there should be fired.Luckily there are other places to purchase strings of L e d lights. Too bad yard envy, your customer service girl lost you my business. F y I I ordered 50 strings of lights from your competition.
I wish I could leave half a star. Their customer service is a joke, they offer no information or apology. I placed an order with an expected delivery date of 6/12, got an email two days after that date stating it is backordered and will not receive until 6/24. Still no delivery. I send an email to find out the status, only to be emailed back to say it is still on backorder until 7/5. I called to ask if this was finally a firm date, and am told no it is not and that the manufacturer has an open-ended ability to place an item on backorder as often as they like. No apology, no offer to help. Horrible customer service.
I called several times. On hold each time for 10+ minutes. Tried getting a call back and 48 hours later finally do get a call. The woman that finally called me didnt care what I wanted, she didnt know what she was talking about with the product (gave me wrong info) and said that now the product is out of stock anyway and basically hung up on me. Horrible customer service.Oh yeah... I have to edit this because if you submit a request on their contact for on website... it signs you up for their MAILING LIST, which I never opted in for. What a bad way to do business.
I had a mediocre experience with Yard Envy. It seems like they might be a little disorganized. I ordered some cafe lights online for my wedding and they were promptly shipped to me. However, in transit, the lights were damaged and automatically returned without ever coming to me. I thought Id just be sent a new set, but I was refunded about 60% of my original purchase cost. I called on 8/3, spoke to a nice lady, and she said shed look into it and get back to me that day. That didnt happen. I called again on 8/4 and spoke to someone else, and they said that they had issued the rest of the refund but that Id have to place a whole new order. At that point I figured ah well this is complicated, Ill just keep the refund and go elsewhere.
I just received my bird house and discovered it was made in China. I saw nothing on your site about being made in China or I would never had bought it.
