Seems like in the last month the entire work force at this store has been replaced with teenagers. No one knows anything. Ive found so many items in the wrong aisles. Their new cashier is completely lacking in customer service skills; rude, and seems very displeased if she has to do her job. This store used to have useful employees for asking questions, but now you just get one teenager radioing in another teenager who knows the same; nothing.

In Altamonte Customer service needs a little improvementPointing and saying I think its in isle 14 or 15 is not reassuring. After 3 representatives and 6 different isles at opposite ends of the store I was able to locate them item. But over all. Everything else is good

Went into the garden section for some soil and seed starting kit. Found the soil right off, but had to ask about the kit. Ronnie at the register told me exactly where they were located in the store so was able to locate it quickly. Like going here as Im able to bring my dog in on his leash rather than leave him in the hot car.

Staff is more concerned with getting the job done fast as opposed to watering plants correctly. Most plants with no drainage are over-watered and muddy. Staff should be trained on proper plant care if theyre going to be out there.

Generally, Im ok with this HD location. Went in today and a lady in orange apron with a clip board rushed to me asking many water related questions. She said it is a survey. At the end, she was pushing for my full name and phone number. I asked why she wants my phone number and she said for verification. (Verify what ?) I felt uncomfortable so I told her I decline to give my phone number because I am not signing up for anything so I dont need to be verified. Upon googling about this, it seems like HD is doing this or allowing partners to do this in order to sell water system. This is a bad brute force sales tactics. Then I visited the garden section and still see this (refer to picture, pay attention to the words to the right of the price tag). Nobody in HD would think this has to be addressed ?

They always have everything I need. The people in kitchen and bath are very helpful, taught me things I didnt even know I needed to know before a kitchen remodel and helped me to find the best price according to my budget

Im more than happy to buy things on Amazon when businesses like this treat customers badly. All the non ryobi tools are locked up at this location. Trying to get someone to unlock one results in you being treated like they think you are going to steal it.

Went to Home Depot looking for flower pot for my mom- I attempted to purchase a pot that was priced at 15.97 and was then told that it was $69... there was also another lady who is purchasing when I was bringing it back because she understood the pricing differently as well. Usually when you run a business you make sure that all your pricing is accurate unfortunately I was approached by a lady named Jacky Who was extremely rude and offer $10 off when it is not my fault that the pricing was incorrect.. she was offense in front of of my mother and father elderly- and my wife and son. I feel harassed and threatened

The rudest customer service lady I have seen in so long. She acted as if she was a know it all but turns out she was wrong in everything she told me about hanging a TV in my wall and the store didnt have a common Concrete anchor like I expected them to have.

No one working the registers in the garden area and the gate was locked. You could walk through the store to go back there and shop.

I have been going to Lowes for close to 10 yrs have many accounts with them and kind of always brushed home depot. I felt like Lowes was the new thing for some reason.Lately I have been coming to the Home Depot at Altamonte Springs and the experience has been so welcoming, service from the employees especially Mike Nguyen in the painting department has been 100 % on point . When it comes to paint i am not very knowledgeablebut he has made it were its been in and out. Thank Home Depot and thank you Mike for your service.

Most Home Depots have friendly, helpful employees offering to help or direct. This store was lacking this help. Its not that the employees were impolite, they just acted too busy to bother giving me the extra friendliness that makes a good store, great. There was a lady in the self-check area who was delightful and cheery. She was the exception.

Store is very large. It had almost everything I needed for construction. I seemed a bit pricey, but the items on sale helped me out greatly. The staff was most helful.

They have noone there willing to help. you must actively seek assistance and hope the person you find can help. I have been here several times, and im not anymore, but the first few times i couldnt get help finding the gloves during the pandemic... nobody knew the aisle with all the gloves(by the customer service with cleaning supplies cause i searched the store and found it myself) they instead pointed to the back where the plastic sheets are. another time i needed a collapsable table and i asked 3 people where they were and they showed me a table with different measurements. so then i just ordered it online for instore pick up and waited in store. went to customer service to pixk it up and as im makin sure it is the right size in the store FINALLY someone decided to ask if i needed help. Furiously, i told them no cause NOW someone wanted to help. This most recent time cost me money which is why im writing this review. i walked around the same section for thirty minutes and not one person was in sight to help find the pvc sheeting i needed. so i just bout what was the best match from the website to the image i had and purchased it. the dude at the cashier prob damaged my card chip by roughly snatching it out the machine and jamming it in cause he heard a noise so now my chip card hsnt worked since(never had an issue before this cause i just got the card) and the purchase i made turned out to be wrong due to one word, which i thought was just the maker not actually part of the sheeting. Point being noone here is helpful till after the fact. This is literally the Wal-Mart of construction store

Pretty standard location. The seasonal merch and the garden section are to your left when you enter. The rest of the store spans out over to the right. We were there to check out the Halloween merchandise and we were looking for trunk or treat ideas because were doing that with our daughters daycare. We found a few things but everything was still pretty pricey for just a quick Trunk or Treat easy idea.We did pass several staff members throughout the store when we were walking around. However nobody really stop to say anything or ask if we needed help. Not a big deal we knew we were looking forward to something to know, you might have to go up to them if you do need help or something. We grabbed some Roundup for our front driveway because there are some weeds growing through the pavers. We did the self-checkout because its usually easier for us.There was a staff member on our way out at the self-checkout and she did tell us to have a good day and was very nice. The store itself was well organized and clean it was pretty easy to find things if you look up and check the banners for where things are.Overall: BStandard location with nothing to write home about. They werent doing any good seasonal merchandise sales just yet. They did have all the standard product you would expect to find here so if thats what youre going for this is an easy place to shop.

I had a great experience with Ben at the door department, I was looking for garage doors and also the FL approval code. He was extremely helpful even though it took him a while he didn’t give up and got me all the information I needed. I will definitely recommend coming to this Home Depot to everyone.

Got an email that my curbside order was ready for pick up. Got there, and confirmed I was there for pickup. Waited over 30 minutes to be told they dont have my order and what I ordered isnt even in stock.

A lot of rude people working there. I went today, and I asked for help. a lady who was in charge of the hardware (4) area treated me horrible, and she was extremely disrespectful.

Nice selection of things but I wish there was a computer or something for customers to search up an item they need on their own so they don’t have to communicate with staff members. The isles do say the MAIN things down them but no specifics of course so it makes it difficult at times .

A warning. Dont use home depot for any kind of remodel or work done in your home. Its basically so many people involved and they are so disorganized noone knows anything and everything takes forever. Ive now gone a month with no floors or kitchen because they screwed up the measure and ordered too little tile which was now discontinued and not in stock because its been 2 months since the original order. Then screwed up 2 more measurements. Despite being told its their mistake and not ours. When i talk to a supervisor CJ i am told its my problem and i need to figure it out before they can help me. Kitchen problem was at least resolved with proper communication. I dont know why one department handles a problem while another at the same store is a mess.So i did fix it by finding the original tile is very much in stock. Apparently no-one did 5 seconds of work to help us. We had to pay out of pocket again to get it and still havent gotten any word on install date or any refund for the old tile.

Lowes is closer but I prefer home depot

So we placed our order online and paid for Express and slotted time from 10am to 2pm. Called the 1-800 # to check on the status at 1pm and only to find out the location I ordered it from had cancelled it and sent it to another Home Depot who also cancelled it with no notice. We had already done all the prep work so we needed the items (75 Paving Stones, 12 Bags of Stones, 15 Bags of Soil, 15 Bags of Mulch and 3 bags of gravel) almost 2000 pounds. The store manager told us we called to late for same day and the earliest they could get it to us was Wednesday. So our solution was having to pick up and load our truck, unload our truck and then have to actually do our work. So Home Depot had now add lifting almost 2000 pounds two extra times to our work load. The manager felt he had done enough by taking the delivery charge off (even though the delivery never occurred) and $100...so now we have spent time effort and the logic mentioned to us from a Home Depot Employee was that our order wasnt profitable enough for the store so it was cancelled. Is this the new Home Depot Policy...take an order and dont contact the customer and cancel it if it doesnt make the location enough money.

Awesome as always, I just wish they would put back the riding lawnmowers and do a layaway plan trust me it be paid off in too months lol, everyone is friendly knowledgeable and its my favorite women store. I not into purses yes I am a very attractive older woman who rather have a riding lawnmower and love spending most my time in the garden department. All of your home improvement needs in one place and then some. I needed to get faceplates for my outlets and found them in different colors and shades. Even got help in finding a shower mirror that doesnt fog up. There were so many options for shower heads I couldnt decide so I will do some research and I will be back to make a purchase. Ill be doing some small home and garden projects soon so Ill be back and forth while Im getting things.

I went to find a small part for a shower sliding door and the associate knew exactly where it was located in an outvreally fast.

We visit Home depot twice this labor day weekend. They had a special in paint. We were helped by Ben in both occasions. He listen and gave us the best advise in what paint to get. Thank you Ben for all of the good advise.

Ordered paint online, container was damaged during delivery, and this store refunded it with no questions asked. I did buy a replacement at the store afterwards and picked up a few more brushes.

Poor quality customer service. Went to buy product the wrong one was unlocked off the shelf. No help trying to get the right product when discovered. When trying to get an associate to help get the right product they said they wouldn’t because they are doing something else. I guess this store does not want business.

Dont buy dewalt from home depot...they will not help if something is wrong with it..they will send you to Dewalt CS,waiste of time....Just bought a pressure washer..second day of used,bolts that hold motor in place got all 4 loose....i will fin8sh my project and i might return it...???

My cashier Abbey was amazing. I went in to buy a whole new set of power tools. I went to check out and they were locked up. The cashier called for someone to get them out and the guy who she called told her he was busy and to figure it out. She went and asked a few people all while apologizing to me. No one had a key so because the guy wouldnt bring the key her supervisor went and got it from hardware department. If it was not for the cashier being so nice I would of walked out and gotten my 1k worth of tools else where.

Ordered tile for store pick up, came in a week earlier than scheduled. Used the curbside pickup, less than 10 minutes and we were on our way. Will use it again. Excellent service.

I am a female veteran and this is the only Home Depot I have constantly been discriminated against. I show them multiple proof that I am a veteran and have served my country and they always give me the run around that I dont give the right proof. My dd214 or my government issued drivers license stating veteran should be enough. It is enough at any other home depot in the area. You state you give a military discount to those who have served which I have, but refuse or give a woman veteran a hard time when they show they have served. It is wrong!!! AVOID THIS HOME DEPOT!!!

Went in for a cheap umbrella since my last one if 6 years finally died. Picked up 2 more and they were cheaper than my last cheap one. Lol. Plenty in stock, thats good since e live in Central Florida.

First in a long time this visit was horrible. I waited for almost 1hr and even when I asked for a supervisor or someone to help in the lockset department, no one came to help. I left very upset and frustrated. Garden center was a much better experience, the attendant was very polite and helpful.

Home depot and lowes are our two choices but I tend towards the Depot. Service is good prices are okay but there is one thing I really hate... they ask everybody in line if they want a home Depot credit card and if they say yes everybody else in line has to wait for them to fill out the credit app... when youre buying a lot of lumber its tough to move to a self-checkout line... If they want the card send them to the customer service desk!!!!!
