Excellent service for great value at spure of the moment. Tire went flay close to store and limped in. They had a used tire in good shape available that fit and were able to get my tire changed and back on the road before I even got settled in to read in the waiting room. Definitely a great experience.

Once again amazing service, above and beyond every time! I dont know why anyone would go else where. Friendly, Helpful, and Fair! Dont believe me? Today I showed up with no appointment no call with an emergency flat tire on my lunch break. Its a Friday after 1pm and I have to drive out of state in the morning. Not only did they take care of me so I didnt have to get a rental for the weekend but all done before my lunch break ended. They even put my jack, tire iron, and spare back in the correct spots, though I had just tossed them in the hatch! They treat you like their best friend!

Fast. Friendly. Professional. Priced other stores in the area for tires, and Telle was comparable to most (give or take a few bucks). But they were fast, efficient, and didnt try any add-ons or upsells (like a certain dealership in town). Even offered to drive me down the street to grab a coffee so I didnt have to walk. Their employees were also wearing masks, which shows they care for their employees and their customers. Ill definitely go back when the time comes.

I love this place! It’s where I always take my car for oil changes and any other issues. The guys always remember me and ask about my family and work, and are more than willing to answer my questions or just take a look at my car if I’m concerned. I recently went in because one of my brake lights was out to get a quote on replacing it - they came outside right away, found a second light out that I hadn’t noticed, replaced them both right away, and had me on my way in no time! I was fully expecting to have to schedule a time for later. They genuinely care about how safe my car is for the road. Fast, friendly, quality service, and much more affordable than when I used to take my car to the dealership.Thanks guys!! See you soon for my next oil change. :)

While traveling, we had a tire that needed immediate attention. We stopped at Telle, and the manager Jim Fuhrman promptly gave us the attention and care we needed. He and the mechanical staff were extremely professional, helpful, and willing to adjust their Schedule to help us.

In the past 5 years I’ve gone to this same garage several times for different things. I was new to town then and I was told that I would be treated well here. I was. Things are changing now that Telle Tire is expanding. Maybe things will turn out well, but I feel like I’m paying more for less now.

Went to Telle tire to have the oil changed and tires rotated. The service manager was 10 minutes late in opening the store. He told me 1 price for oil change and it ended up being 11.00 dollars more than what he quoted me. Charged me 20.00 dollars to rotate tires and the tech didnt even check the air pressure in the tires 2 tires had 30 lbs in them 1 had 28 the other 32. Probably wont be going back to that location

Chris was great. I bought a used car and had had them look it over. I dropped it off and Chris had his awesome crew only found a couple minor things, he sent a detailed inspection so I had them do what was needed and picked it up later in the day . I wouldnt trust anyone else.

Just had 2k worth of work done on my Volvo XC90 T6. They did a great job and my SUV drives like new again. Great warranties, Great staff. Thanks guys!!! For the people who are saying dont go there..... Just because you cant afford getting the work done does not mean its a bad shop! Cars are expensive to fix.

I had to bring in my car on very short notice and Chris, my mechanic at Drakes was awesome. They charged me $50 less than what I thought they would. The best part is the service was quick and my car ran perfectly once I picked it up. Ill definitely be returning to Drakes anytime my car needs some TLC!

I wont go anywhere else. As a woman I feel I am always taken advantage of at the local auto repair stores. Drakes has always been honest and supportive and found creative solutions that have saved me money.

There was a time when I highly recommended Telle Tire to anyone that would listen. Not anymore!!! They currently dont seem to care about peoples personal time nor do they care about taking peoples hard earned money when the repairs a car ACTUALLY needs doesnt nearly come close to what they quoted. They are not very empathetic for putting people out nor do they apologize when making mistakes that could have cost hard working individual a lot of money! Over $2000 quoted for something that only wound up costing $100. And the only reason the issue was rectified is because said individual spoke up and knew a little more than their mechanic. Is it a scam? Not sure, maybe they need to send employees for more training..... they lost a good customer!!!

I was new to Alton a couple years ago and had no idea where to go to get good, reliable service for my vehicle. I found Drake Tire online, checked it out, and havent gone anywhere since. I find their service to be quick and affordable, and Im never worried about bringing my car to their shop

Was able to get the tires like what I wanted.

My experience was horrible!! I drop my car off at 8 and they made it seem like it wouldnt take long to look at so I expected a phone call in the next couple hours. By noon I still didnt have one so I called and they were kind of rude about it and said they would get on it. By 140I called and they said oh yeah we just looked at it you need to wheel hub assemblies to outer tie rods and to inner tie rods in an alignment and it will all cost $1156. I took it to another mechanic right after that and I needed to outer tie rods and 3 brake lines actually. Cost me less than $200 to fix this place is horrible

Have gone to Drake Tire & Auto for several years to have service on various vehicles. I have always had great service. Chris is friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Would highly recommend going to Drake.

On our way through Alton, on our way to Branson, I saw smoke coming from the front of my car. I had just gotten my car serviced in Chatham, IL — new sway bars, rotors, brake pads, etc. — and I felt something wasn’t right. I Googled “tire places near me” and Telle Tire popped up. What a Godsend!! They were so helpful and friendly. They checked my car out for free and sent us on our way with peace of mind. Thank you Telle Tire — you saved our weekend!

I had great service here today. I spent two hours waiting on my car this morning for an oil change and tire rotation bc these guys were busy and I could tell. Chris let me know that I needed some additional things and texted me a report that even included a pic of my dirty air filter. I needed a new serpentine belt, too, which I knew because the car would squeal on occasional startup. He also said my brakes need replaced soon, but said these items could wait for now and I didnt feel pressured to do anything. I told him lets replace the filter and belt and he ordered the parts from Edwardsville and told me I could come back around 1. I came back with my 18mo who was wound for sound and Chris and Jim were awesome at helping entertain him and were very understanding, especially Chris. This place is great and I would highly recommend them. We will be back for any future work our cars need!
