When my truck needed service I tried Roberts Motors because I heard their service was great. The first person I dealt with was Rachel to get my information & document why I was there for service. Rachel was friendly & professional. After the work was completed in a timely fashion & correctly by technicians Drew & Ryan, I had the chance to speak with the service manager Jack who answered a couple questions I had, was very professional, easy to talk to & genuinely cared about my satisfaction. I made a purchase from the parts department & dealt with Terry then Pam the cashier who were both great to deal with also.

Very happy with Roberts. I drove a GT fastback on Saturday but wanted a convertible fully loaded. Tim Lane found one that day, confirmed trade Monday, and I had the new beautiful premium GT convertible Wednesday. I couldn’t be happier with the car and service.

The car purchasing experience was 5 stars. However my experience with the service department was 1 star.Ive had the 2021 Bronco Sport for only 1 month and all the rear lights stopped working. I tried to schedule an appointment and was told there were no loaner cars available, but I could bring it in and hopefully they could get to it and fix it. After discussing this is with my salesperson, she was able to arrange for me to have a loaner car. I arrived at the dealership and they had the loaner car ready. I was close to leaving when I was told I couldnt take the car due to my license being expired. It expired the day before. If this dealership would have checked, they would have seen that Illinois license expiration dates had been pushed back until June 2021 for the months Feb through May. Now, I have a brand new car sitting in my driveway and not able to drive it. Not once did they offer to keep the car to fix it, but just gave me my keys and basically said the hell with you. It was unbelievable. I wont be back.4/7/21 ReplyPlease update and educate yourself on the extension on expired licenses that the Secretary of State put into effect. My license was not expired.

Went in for routine maintenance with a perfectly sound brand new lincoln, (oil change, tire rotation) and left with 2 bent brake rotors. The problem they created cost me hundreds of dollars to fix at a competent repair shop.

I went in to ask a few questions and ask for some advice about selling my truck and buying a car in a few months. I sold the truck and bought a car today. Everything worked out well.

I was shopping for a new Ford Edge. I had driven through the lot several times just to see if anything caught my eye. I was looking for specific features, and color. I reached out on line to see if I could fine what I wanted. I soon received a call and was given Tim Lane a Salesman for the Dealership to work with. I told him what I was looking for. He started looking and found exactly what I wanted (the perfect car). My car was ready a couple days later and the transaction was flawless. I was comfortable and could not have been more happy. So I was stranded and unable to work the rest of my shift. They called me later that day and updated me the cost and that it will get fixed Tuesday(Today). It is 5pm and I have not heard anything at all. So I called the dealership to find out whats going on and EVERYONE IS GONE. So I am not going to make it to work in the morning and have to rearrange my schedule AGAIN due to lack of communication. Just wanted everyone to know what they are getting into. Hopefully you get better service.

Got the works oil change. They were done in 1/2 hour. Everyone is very friendly

So I brought my truck (F-150) to be inspected regarding an appearent leak in the sunroof. Spoke to a Rachel, who appeared to know what she was doing at the time. They kelp our truck for to weeks (That well never get back out of our life) and did absolutely nothing to it! They claim they were keeping the truck inside, to see if there would be any additional leaking (as if they fixed it) and the truck appeared that not only was it Not left inside, it looked like it had been driven around. We were totally given the run around, and given the impression that there was extensive work done on it, and there was no work done on it at all. The wrong expectations were set, and customer service (Rachel) totally lied for 2 weeks about the status of our vehicle. Last FORD we will buy...

Very good service everyone are very polite.

The service department diagnosed an oil leak on my truck as a vacuum pump. They replaced the part and told me that I needed to drive the truck to burn off the residual oil. I called back to tell them that the truck was still leaking and was told to drive it more for there was a lot of oil on the engine that they couldn’t clean off. After I drove it a thousand miles it had been two months I called again for the same oil leak that was not fixed the first time and made an appointment. Now they want me to pay to diagnose the oil leak again. I am not happy with the fact that they didn’t fix the leak, I bought a part that was not the problem and now I have to pay them again to find the leak they missed in the first place. I would not have a problem paying for all the parts that were bad in the first place.

Arrived at my appointment for 3:30. I was the only vehicle in the garage. Being my first time there I was a bit confused. As I got out of my car and proceeded to stand next to it for about 15min waiting for someone to approach me which didn’t happen. Nor did I know who to ask for help considering everyone acted as if I wasn’t there. Normally that wouldn’t be such a big deal but considering I was the only car in the garage confused me. I then went into the waiting room figuring if they needed me they’d know where to look. I came out 10min after being in the waiting room, and I was told to pull my car forward. I was then finally asked what I was there for and I told Theresa that I was there for a 3:30 oil change. It was about 5 min till 4 as she told me that it was going to be a while because they are now working on 4 o’clock appointments. So I decided to leave considering I left work earlier using vacation time and I wasn’t going to sit around for an hour just to have my oil change done. I then called them asking them if maybe they can be more considerate and helpful towards people going there for their first time. I was then told by her that I should’ve arrived on time “which I did”. I was also told that I was a liar and that I wasn’t the only car in the garage when I had shown up. Also I was a liar because apparently I didn’t stand next to my car for the amount of time I had previously stated while I waited for help. If she seen me standing there why didn’t she help first off. She then told me I could go back and she could get me in immediately, confusing as to why they couldn’t get me in at my appointed time but I wasn’t about to waste more of my time considering I was already home. She said she went to look for me but to my surprise she couldn’t find me even though I was in the waiting room. Where else could I have been but the waiting room? Very dissatisfied with my visit and the customer service that I received from Theresa

From the time we called, to the time we left the service department, we were impressed. So much better than Auffenberg Ford North, where we bought the car!! Easy to make the appointment, sign in and they got started on it right away. They sanitized it 1st including putting a steering wheel cover on. There were 2 waiting rooms! Service department wore masks, but several of the sales guys getting coffee didn’t. They offered us coffee or another drink. Our got checked out promptly and they were accommodating and not rude when we asked more questions. The head of the service department even addressed our questions himself!! Impressed and grateful.

Oil change with The Works appointment. Waited for short time to completion. Vehicle readout has me prepared to take care of brakes and tires which need attention soon. Appreciate this readout inspection document as it keeps my car in great shape.

Sales staff and finance were friendly and helpful.However the service department is a scam. From charging 400 for a set of front brakes to trying to convince my wife to pay 200 for Nitrogen replacement in the tires these guys are an absolute joke. Wifes family has done business with them for 30 years but will no longer be going there.

Roberts is the only place I will buy a Ford vehicle from after my experiences with them. Three years ago my wife was looking to replace her Ford Escape with an Edge. She had a long list of wants for the options, and Roberts was great about finding a car that met all of her criteria. They found one in Tennessee and sent someone down to pick it up. After the sale, they took great care of her, like when she hit a block of wood and dented her rim on the way to work, they had her car towed and replaced the whole wheel in a matter of days, completely covered by our warranty. So when I started looking for a new car, I started with Roberts. I test drove a 2012 Focus there and liked it but wanted to look around. I spent 3 weeks looking at different dealer and different car manufacturers and couldnt find anything I liked as much. Of course when I went back the car I wanted was sold. So I went online and built a car on Fords website with the exact options I would want if I were to custom order a vehicle. I took the printout to Roberts and within 24 hours they had found one and sent an employee down to pick it up. Within 72 hours I was driving my perfect car. They even walked me through the setup of my Sync and taught me how to use it. The sales staff is top notch and are quick to return calls and emails even after the sale with any questions Ive had

I had a great experience a Roberts Motors. The crew there were all very respectful and honest. They let me make my own decisions and didnt try to trick me into purchasing something that I didnt want or was skeptical about. If they did offer me something, they explained in full detail what they were offering and its price and they did their personal best to give me as many discounts on my car as they could. Would I ever go back to them or recommend them to someone else? That wouldnt be a Yes, but a Hell Yes!

The only reason we go here is to charge the car. It is nice we can drop off the Tessa and not be charged. It takes several hours to charge so the location is handy. As for the business itself and dealing with Mr Roberts as a single mom years ago...I will not comment.

Marcus Watson was very helpful in my purchase. I did my online review via auto trader then went to see the car for myself. Marcus had good knowledge of the car. He did not push hard for the sale but helped me weigh the pros and cons. The rest of the staff were friendly. This is a really good place to purchase a car.

I had an absolutely great experience with all of the staff at Roberts Motors with my recent purchase of my 2019 Ford Edge which is something that you dont normally hear about when buying a vehicle from car dealerships.I am a very discriminating buyer and will research things in great detail prior to making any long term purchase commitments. Yes...Im one of those customers that walk in to the showroom with my binder in hand containing all of my research results on the vehicle that Im particularly interested in. The staff took the time to go over several buying and leasing options with me in the detail that I had asked for. They also made sure that I was able to get all of the Rebates and factory Incentives that was available to me for my purchase and even a few that I wasnt aware that I qualified for.Once I made the commitment to purchase, their financing department went over everything in detail and discussed any additional purchase items that I may want to also consider. They also answered any remaining questions that I may have had.I left feeling absolutely wonderful about the purchase that I had made with Roberts Motors. Overall, I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle.

Hands Down the BEST Dealership Ive ever worked with!I was an out of state buyer considering a used car on their lot. My salesperson Marcus was great to work with. He took the time to facetime me to go over the vehicle in detail, answered all my questions promptly and worked hard through the negotiations to get me the deal I felt comfortable with! They went above and beyond by picking me up at the airport when I came into town for the vehicle and the entire staff was friendly and professional! I understand having to adjust the seat but having to adjust the back of the seat was not needed, the driver mirror wasnt locked back in place and i had to fix it and adjust it back to the way it was when i gave my truck to the service department asked for a tire balance never happened service said he didnt hear me ask for a balance my automatic lights were left in the off position forgot to tell them were the key was for the lugs the tech took it upon himself to go thru my truck and look for it instead of asking were it was located.
