I have to give a shout out to Kate. I believe her actual capacity at Piasa Armory is Gun Range Manager, but she honestly can do anything that is requested of her. I have been there several times and when Firearm Ranges and Federal Firearm Licensed locations are dropping left and right, we as a community, are extremely fortunate to have what I believe is the most educated, well-stocked, and staffed armory, located right in our own backyard!Dan is another great employee that I have worked with on questions concerning firearms. Like any other highly skilled professional, he and Kate both will first ask a few fact-finding questions, to determine your existing knowledge of firearms, what are you wanting to do for you, size, etc. Like all great professionals, they will take the necessary time to diagnose your current situation. For example, 2020 has been a record-setting year, month after month for the most first time gun buyer’s ever in history. A lot of individuals received their stimulus checks and decided they wanted to buy a firearm, without ever doing any research to know the first thing about firearms, which is perfectly fine Piasa Armory will always welcome you. Their motto is there is no dumb questions. Please do not be intimidated at all!That is where Piasa Armory separates itself from a typical “outdoor” store, that happens to also sell firearms. Very nice place very clean does not have much as far as inventory I did find a weapon to purchase found out after doing some checking once I got home I overpaid for the weapon but the convenience was there. I absolutely love the indoor range.

Positives: friendly and knowledgeable staff. The ammunition sold their is affordable. You can bring your own ammunition which is nice.Negatives: ventilation needs to be improved for days when all lanes are being used. It might be a good idea to have more supervision over newer shooters that haven’t yet developed safe range habits.

The staff is very knowledgeable and more than happy to take their time answering questions you may have (and I had quite a few). They definitely made me feel comfortable and more at ease with things I wasnt real familiar with.

Unlike many other firearms stores and ranges in the area, this place is super personal, and everyone generally seems to enjoy being here, both customers and employees are always chatting in a friendly manner, and the staff seems to enjoy taking the time to work with customers.That said, the biggest drawback is that there arent as many firearms to check out, hands on, but they can order you pretty much whatever you want.Ive not encountered any time where there was any wait time on the range, and there always seems to be a lane open.The selection of rental firearms is decent, as well as good selection of targets.Overall, the place takes the often stuffy atmosphere of other shops, and turns it on its head, with friendly staff, training classes, and an overall relaxed environment.

Stopped by and did some shooting today the guys were friendly and the price for supplies and shooting was great thanks guys

Bought weapons there, use the gun range, took concealed carry classes there, couldn’t ask for a more friendly, helpful bunch of people there. They make even the most novice gun buyer feel comfortable around them.

I have purchased several guns from Piasa Armory could not be more pleased with the service. Friendly knowledgeable willing to teach you how to fix your gun instead of asking your to pay them to fix it. Highly recommend them.

Decent selection. Prices seemed a bit high. I went in for an FFL transfer with an Illinois resident (Im in Missouri). They didnt want to provide him with proper paperwork showing he left a firearm with them for the waiting period. Eventually they provided him with some form of proof, but I would have expected that as the norm not the exception.

Used a Groupon and had a delightful time. The man at the desk was so helpful and nice, as I was trying different rentals out through my hour. Shoot around before you buy!

Friendly staff and for two people I didnt think the price was awful. They have 8 shooting lanes in the range. They allowed us to bring our own ammo, they have gun rental available. Would go back again.

Indoor range and a wide selection of handguns. They also stock a number of AR style rifles. Not the place to go if you are looking for shotguns. The people behind the counter are friendly and helpful.

Kids gave me a membership here for Christmas, have been twice with the grandson so far, a bit small and could use more tables but overall a good place thats close to me and will let the 12 year old shoot, the only real issue is the heater is not working in the shooting area and is fairly cold but they are in the process of getting it fixed, friendly guys at the range counter, would definitely recommend this place.

Prices for gun rental and ammo were reasonable, if not inexpensive. We used a Groupon, but rented and bought more ammo and guns... the employees are friendly and helpful.

I am new to the gun world and this place makes you so comfortable and answers any questions I have asked !! I just purchased a Taurus Raging Bull 44 magnum from them and pick it up on Monday . The staff there is SO VERY VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH ALL KINDS OF INFORMATION. . Keep up the AWESOME JOB YOU ARE DOING....I currently have a Glock 43 for Conceal and carry,and a Glock 17 .

Outstanding experience! Very knowledgeable and down to earth staff with impressive qualifications and certifications. Willing to take the time to educate and inform you so that you can make a well thought out and informed decision/purchase.Went through concealed carry training and it was very interactive and informative with some additional hand to hand defense training as a bonus. It wasnt some guy reading out of a book! The training classes exceeded my expectations as an experienced shooter yet I would recommend this class to beginners and experienced shooters alike. Will absolutely be my recommendation to my wife and niece for their training when they decide they want to get their Concealed Carry Certifications as well.Staff is very helpful with paperwork and honestly wants to see you become more comfortable and proficient with your firearm. Well worth the 45 minute drive it took me to get there. Will gladly bypass that poor excuse for a gun store and range in Belleville going forward.They also offer gunsmithing services at competitive prices and want to make sure that they understand what you want instead of telling you what they think you want.FIrst class experience from Paul, Randy, Jason and Dave!!!!!!
