Its nice to have an old school comic book shop in town. Fairly large selection of older books. Newer books are not always in stock. The owner is very nice and has been in business for 30+ years. The prices are very high, however. Pokemon cards, for example, are sold at a 25% mark-up. You are sometimes better off shopping elsewhere if you want a fair value.

I thought this place had closed a long time ago, however I was ecstatic that they were not went in and it brought back the memories when I went in when Im 23 years ago. They had what I needed for my kiddos and I was happy to find out a new series of a comic I used to get had opened up again again. The owner hes a great guy if you guys like comics, Dungeons of dragons, Magic the Gathering, And collectibles this will be the place to go to.. Please support our local business owners.

This place used to be great but lately it feels like every dollar i spend here is charity for a bygone age. Ed will order anything you ask for but he keeps zero product on shelf. Why drop a yundred bucks for stuff in a month when two to three other places ave it in stock, cheaper? Ed is great but i feel like he needs to sell out or just plain retire.

Great somewhat hidden gem in Ama (just past Wendys). The owner was super friendly and helpful, but not overly so and did not hover. The BEST prices on pokemon Ive seen from DFW to AMA. Knows his stuff. TONS of comics and easy to peruse. Were out of town, but WILL be back! Bought Vivid Voltage and Battle Styles.

The owner was very, very helpful and kind. The shop is a bit outdated, but there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere and tons of comic books.

One of the coolest places in town operated by some of the nicest people in town.

My dad was a customer back when they started in Western Plaza, and theyre still the greatest in Amarillo.

Great customer service and excellent vintage selection! I traveled from out of town, and this store was the best out of all the comic store visited. Prices are usually below internet prices. Owner is extremely knowledgable and friendly.

This place has an excellent collection of back issues and modern issues! They had dozens of books I needed just in one series. The man running the store was sociable and very helpful. One of the best comic stores Ive ever been to.

I practically grew up in this place as a kid back when I lived in Amarillo. I used to go every Saturday night and play Pokemon, Star Wars CCG, Warhammer 40K, etc. I remember when they used to be in the mall at Western Plaza before they moved to Western street. There used to be a huge Spider-Man hanging outside that you could see from far away.I bought my very first comic here. I remember the owner Ed was very nice, outgoing, and funny. This place will always be special to me. Its been a long time since Ive been to Amarillo. Ill have to stop in the next time I go through.

Been coming here for 20 years. Ed has more back issues to peruse than anyone else.

A huge selection, had alot that I have never even heard of!!

The owner is simply amazing! He not only helped us with what we were looking for but he had such extensive knowledge it was impressive! The store was clean and had an amazing selection! I would HIGHLY recommend any comic lover to stop in.

Best shop to buy miniatures in the entire panhandle. You need to go often. They get new minis in regularly but they dont have many of one type. For example, Id been wanting some goblins for my collection. Two weeks ago, they were sold out. Yesterday (2/8/20) I went in and they had 1 package of some goblins. So if they have what you are wanting, buy it or you may need to wait a week or two.

The wife and I love this place! She is from Amarillo and introduced me to it. Im from Atlanta and comic book shops are scarce even here. Its so nice that you guys have it. It probably wont be the biggest comic store you may go to but, in our experience, the folks are friendly & helpful - and their selection is nice. Im an old pen-and-paper D&D player and I love that they carry some of that. Its a neat shop. Giveem a try!

I play AD&D2e and this store has a good selection of those modules. Also old Dragon magazines. Rarer items are priced accordingly but on par with the Internet. Will stop again next time I’m in town.

Really good place to go check out. I was traveling across country and had looked this place up because it was on my route. Outside will deceive you but its an up to date, good looking place on the inside. The guy running it(the owner I think) was awesome. He told me what was where and chatted for awhile about my travels. I found a few cool books, but Id say this place will have almost anything your looking for from old key issues to new releases. Definitely recommend you check this place out.

Oldest and best comicbook and hobby store in the city. They have a tremendous collection of old comics to browse through, as well as a regularly growing stock of models for DnD, Pathfinder, Warhammer, etc. They do not have a large selection of TCGs to choose from however.

Friendly employees with so much nerd stuff in one place. Dont bring your wallet or you will leave broke but happy.Good place for comics and table top games, card games not so much.

It the best comic store I have been to since moving here.

Its been around a lot of years, so its kindve musty, but if your a comic book person it is a place to go, also has your comic extras, a selection of card and board games and extensive RPG books. The owner is nice enough if you initiate the conversation, otherwise he just lets you shop on your own.

Very nice people! Sad they dont have many pokemon cards, but thats ok its a dying breed. We got some dice and feel like badasses now with our cool dice.

Ive been going here since I was a kid and it has to be my favorite comic book store in town, one of the things that would help is if the anime was in alphabetical order, but I understand kids will totally wreck the order.
