The guy at the cash register was great. The showers were comfortable and clean. I love the hair dryer. They also had a good variety of coffee.
Love stopping at this particular TA. I always find parking, and its very well lit. Alright! The parking lot is clean as well as the inside. Even the ladies restroom! The people working are always friendly, well at least, every time that I have been! The showers at this location arent exactly huge, but theyre not tiny either. Always clean and well stocked. Ive been coming here for years and Ill continue to do so when Im traveling this way.
Unsanitary, unofficial, the people that work there are rude. The fast food chains that are located inside are overpriced and they make no effort to be sanitary. I think the managers of these chains should be held accountable for the lack of customer service, lack of cleanliness, and the over all negative experience that these places provide.
Just bought my first truck 24 hrs from dealer, needed fuel filter(bad). Carlos told me to head over hed make a spot for me to get in and out. His guy Jeremy was on it and tool the time to let me snap pics of rubber inside filters, then threw a scanner on it at no charge just for piece of mind. Super cool brothers, my first experience with a TA was excellent.
People are great, but as an overall rating as a truck stop, lacking. They no longer are concerned about the well being of drivers and their health. No restaurant. Completely removed. All they have available to eat is fried fast fatty junk. Not one healthy option. I walked around the store twice and left hungry. Its a shame. Truck stops used to be a welcome site to drivers. Now theyre literally just parking and only if you get there early.
Rude customer service, the roadside assist is horrible,it is a money grab. The GM has no clue why he is in that position, can’t reason with him. Have had great experience with other TA just not this one.
MEN, if you would like to score points with the woman of your dreams (your capable & tolerant WIFE! 😄), walk in the truck driver entrance of the Amarillo TA truck stop! I SAW the face of the WARMLY SMILING woman who had walked outside through those pictured doors seconds after! I had not seen her, but obviously she had seen me taking the photo you see. My wife, Dr Phil, and even tough, no-nonsense Judge Judy would probably all agree! 😂
You can stop here for fuel and diesel. Snacks, some auto supplies, truck accessories, and drinks. There are showe, laundry mat and game room.Inside the have a Popeyes, burger king, and pizza hut. There is also a truck shop for big trucks equipped with a tire shop. Good place to stretch and grab a bite to eat.

If you are stopping here for the Showers....You will be pleased. I had Shower 4. Pressure was great, the room was very clean. Did not smell like chemicals and a very important add here would be that the drains work like they should. Never was the water building up to where you are standing in a puddle, like So Many others we run across.The cleanliness portion on the day I was there (I asked someone who she was) was a young lady by the name of Peggy....Thank You Maam! Much Appreciated!
Always shows 0 minutes wait for shower when you go in there is wait for hour, and the cleaning guy is very very rude, the one in early morning shift
Overall a good experience, friendly people, fast service, but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

Went to buy pizza hut from this place, Placed my order and saw the employee making the pizza with his hands in his pants... For a good 2/3 minutes this guy had his hand in his pants no gloves or nothing and start to make the pizza. Absolutely disgusting place. Never having anything to eat here again. absolutely Sick people here. Manager was elden on site, refunded my money but honestly after seeing that. I would tell everyone never to eat here!
This TA always has really unfriendly checkers. We are over the road truck drivers and we visit truck stops across the USA and stop at many many truck stops. Every time we come here we swear we wont be back. The reason we do continue to come here is there are always open bays on the diesel side, probably because of how unfriendly t get are here. Last straw today, Shania rang us up on they convenience store side, she acted as though we were putting her out as she has to ring us up, rolling her eyes at every chance. Her attitude was awful, this isnt the first time Shania rang out our supplies, super unfriendly on both occassions. We decided today not to patronize this TA again. Shania can be rude to other customers. The problem being they are always unfriendly, no matter who rings you up, Shanias attitude today was just the last strawfor this TA.

Travel store service no good i need shower early morning but they are not provide until 07:00am .long time to same problems not serious about this I think they are not understand time values .
Drive a truck I would recommend somewhere else bc they dont care how long you wait to get fuel. Sat and watched 5 trucks not move out of fuel island after getting fuel and walking inside for over 35 mins. Called desk. Their answer oh well and hung up. Poor service

This TA truck stop is without a doubt a great place to park for the night, get a shower & a bite to eat. Is big enough, so you won’t have to worry about not being able to find an empty parking spot.
TA service the laziest people I ever met. From initial 2 hours waiting ended up almost 8 hours to change a tire on a trailer. They just crawling like snails in the shop. Shocking and a very unpleasant experience costed me a whole day. Just this location usually great service on other locations.
Sunday, March 29th @1:30am... No showers available because theres nobody to clean them. Clerk at the fuel desk cant leave the fuel desk alone to clean a shower. No manager available.Dear TA management,After a long days work, most of us just want a safe place to rest & a clean, hot shower. At least put up signs telling the drivers there are no showers available. Anyways...I know Im just a dirty truck driver & my words may not matter. A little courtesy towards our nations truck drivers would be appreciated.

I use them because they are always clean,and well lit. The fuel prices are good. The staff is friendly and most of the time can be pretty close on weather and road conditions. Bathrooms are always clean. Food choices are great and varied, this one has pizza hut, burger king, and popeyes, plus the usual hot dogs etc. Great place to stop.
Nice place and friendly employees. Someone needs to do something about the Pizza hut though. Got there at 9:30 pm and stood there for 10 minutes and no one came up front. Staying in the back to avoid doing your job just because its close to closing time doesnt make this place look good. Never had a problem with Burger King or Popeyes, just this place.
TA gas stop and store was fine. Burger King sanitation is appalling, even by pre-Covid standards. Jr Whopper patty is now the same size as plain burger? Rip. Off. Nobody could tell me if the BK franchise was same as TA. But it is because of BK that next time I will chose Loves.
I really like the T/A travel centers. Clean showers, real restaurant, great for travelers of any ilk! Highly recommended.
The dinner buffet at Iron Skillet is wonderful. Theres soup and salad and then the hot choices. Feels like from scratch and the chocolate cake was still warm!
Very clean truck stop the showers are huge and the shower number 9 was very clean and roomy nicest 1 Ive ever been in ever !!!Good service at parts counter as well as the store part and good warm food I dont usually leave any reviews unless its excellent or its a really bad place and I think this is a really nice TA and they have lots of free parking only a small section of reserve spots so there definitely not being greedy like most of em are anymore !!!
I love the fact that you have a few food options at place! The burger king folks are super nice and so are the rest of the food service people. The store side could use some guidance in that though. They are less friendly but not unapproachable.I stop here more for the fact that the bathrooms are always super clean when I go there.
Worst experience ever. I have never experienced a wait of 12 hours to change a tire. But thanks to his facility for making me wait. Everytime i call them they say “couple hours sir”.I will never visit this travel center ever in my life.
I have always stopped at this TA for fuel food and drinks and showers. Tonight I needed to take a 30 minute break on my Logs and this so called security lady comes out and tells me I cant stay where I parked. I was hooked up to a 40 foot rv trailer and there was no safe place to park . So I will not do any more business there I can go to the loves or flying j I hate being treated like that.
This place has gone down hill. With restaurants allowed to open at 50% capacity why is there only 3 tables now? Thats like 10% like most large chain truck stops. Get your high over price fuel and get out attitude.

Great place for you to get everything done. They have very clean bathrooms n showers a game room. They have 3 restaurants. Very clean laundry room with an attendant who is the sweetest man ever. All around great place to visit.
This place is always amazing. The people are friendly, the food at the restaurant is delicious and not badly priced. The showers are always super clean and also priced well.
Half their fuel bays are closed, some have buttons that wont work, they wont let you prepay near shift change and you have drivers taking breaks in the bays

I purchased a set of snow chain holders. They stated they are universal but they will not fit my truck.So I wanted to either exchange them or get my money back as even International said they cannot put them on as they dont fit.TA mechanics said they dont know how to fit them on my truck frame.The manager would not talk to me and the counter guy said sorry for your luck, that is $500 you just ate!Will not stop there to buy anything again. Will use their trash cans, parking lot and bathroom. They can pay for my use and I will not give them any money.2 WEEKS AFTER I POSTED! IT TOOK YOU 2 WEEKS TO SAY THAT YOUR SORRY FOR THE EXPERIENCE?That should show the level of concern given by this store! No sh1t was given!
Its a great place to stop and get gas snacks and 3 options of fast food. Love to stop by when im in Amarillo.
Always have had good luck with the shop. Techs fast and will let you know what is wrong. Very good people here
Fast n friendly service while getting my truck serviced. Had a little problem with a defective fuel filter. The tech had to change it out a 2nd time n we were good to go.
TA has awesome employees. They are kind people. I was traveling and I needed a place to sleep and they charge 5.00 for a night. Well needed sleep. I felt safe. Thanks TA.
Another great TA stop. Just a little dated than others. But all the great stuff. Our stop was during the middle of the night, so of course they were trying to stock things and tidy the place. We used the facilities and got a few things and went to check out. No cashier and we stood there like a bump on a log forever till we finally spotted the person who greeted us 25 minutes earlier and ask how you pay for something. His reply was right over here, my wife told him oh where we been standing for 20minutes. He replied I guess you should of came looking for someone earlier if you needed to get back on the road. We almost left without buying the stuff. But it was for our eighteen month old twins.
Good place for 10 hr break. Clean showers. Nice folks working there. Just wish we had a few more options for food.
This is an Excellent place to get your Truck worked on,fixed my Truck and Diagnosed it prior to fixing it!! I was there on July 13th around 9:00 PM to 2:20 AM. I did not mind the wait and everybody in Service Dept kept me informed of what,when,how of my Truck Issue!Thanks Carlos (service Tech) You did a Great Job!! Truck is running Excellent!!I will Definitely let other Drivers know, how Great the Service This TA provides!!

I like stopping here for the night when I run into Oklahoma..but lately they are always out of diesel fuel,i guess maybe its never checked to see if its running low
Plenty of parking, very clean showers and restrooms. Has the normal fast food joints but overall a good place to take a break.
As usual restrooms were clean and restaurants were already closed as it was after 11 pm but staff was friendly always a decent place to shower as well. Ground was icy and slippery due to weather

The please is the worst service I ever seen at ta truck stop I try to change new tires they give a door 5 I been waiting no body shows up I go there again and asked them if they can do it they told they going start 1AM but until now 2:33 am still waiting but Im the only one waiting at the tire shop
Jeremy was awesome! He figured out the trouble with our Freightliner m2 motorhome engine. We were going through Amarillo on the way to Arizona and were facing weekend shutdowns and Christmas next week. We were told that every diesel mechanic in Amarillo was shut down until Monday morning and we should line up over the weekend to get service on Monday. (This was Saturday afternoon!) TA got us right in and Jeremy knew exactly what to do! God answered our prayers!
I love TAs. This one is smaller however has whatever you need. Popeyes or BK, didnt eat this visit. But place is very clean, lots of laundry equipment and showers. Does have very nice ladies room! (Cant forget that)

One of the better TA. Unfortunately they dont have a real restaurant. The Big Texan is within walking distance, though. Lots of Truck parking. Good Mechanics, too.

Nice clean bathrooms with lots of stalls. Microwave available near coffee pots to heat up leftovers or frozen food. Lots of tables and high chairs for seating. Has a pizza hut, Popeyes, and Burger King. Pizza hut was made to order, they didnt seem to be making any ahead while we were there even though it is supposed to be an Express, so we had to wait about 8 minutes for a personal pan pizza, fine but not grab and go like its supposed to be.
Stopped here for diesel for PU pulling long trailor. Couldnt find diesel pumps. Cine to find our, the are tucked away in the back. Then once you find them, no pay at the pump...you have to park, then go in and pay, then go or and pump fuel. Now, how many people know how much fuel their trucks are going to take ..so now you have to go back in and get change. Get with the times people - this isnt the 60s. Never stopping here again.

Plenty of parking bathrooms are clean there is a popeyes there get the app on your phone and you literally pay half price on the 2pc combo. Burger king there prices skyyyyyy high.and another fast food place in there.pizza I think wings etc. Overall good place to bunk down. Employees are nice compared to some tri stops. Hope this helps
This place is in a good location exiting Amarillo or entering Amarillo. Its one of the last few places to get gas before youre on 287 or Interstate 40. The inside was clean bathrooms needed a little work good selection of sodas and snack foods. As well as a fast food chain on the inside. But the place is no Buc-ees

Nightshift staff needs a hug! Fuel pump not working properly and got attitudes plus long lines of truckers taking their sweet little time, usually full.
Its a great store its got everything a fuel stop, three fast food places burger king, Popeyes, and Pizza hut, its also got the usual showers and local stores I believe they have two separate stores there

Its 14 degrees out. Hot shower feels fantastic. Loaded up on Popeyes Chicken. It was in the 70s here on Friday!
Hubby and I stopped for a shower and was pleasantly surprised by a very large presumably handicapped shower room that was nice and clean and updated.
Showers and restrooms are very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have 3 restaraunt options and the food is good quality. Overall great experience.
