VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Went to Belmar thinking they should be one of the best in town. Thought wrong!! Very disappointed we literally sat down and talked about about the colors and taste. And I sent a picture to them of exactly what I wanted!! I mean I know sometimes you can’t get exactly what you want but dang at least get close!! So if you want a cake to be made the way you want it!! Don’t go to Belmar bakery!!

Great place just ordered my cake for my soon to be sweet sixteen.. I didnt catch her name but she was very helpful and helped me choose the way I wanted the cake.. first time going.. will be back but cant wait to see my cake when I pick it up ...

This is only our second time at this particular bakery. I should note, both times we got a last minute cake, the first time cookies too. I went back after the first time for a couple reasons, one being super friendly customer service, the lady was happy to write a quick message on cake for us, boxed everything up, while being happy to be there. The first cookies and cake were awesome. The icing alone is magnificent.Which is why i was soooo disappointed this time. Grabbed a quick birthday cake, asked if they could write the boys name on it, nope sorry everyone that could write on the cake is gone it was 5pm ... which honestly it wasnt the end of the world just mildly irritating that i had to buy yet another thing, JUST for a name, . then we go to cut into the cake and the entire second layer is frozen solid. My husband had to hit the knife to get it to cut through, like hard ice cream. So we only got to eat the top layer. I should also note it set in a hot 85° vehicle for 45 min, then another hour while we ate, i would have hated to see how much would have been frozen then.So i guess if you need a quick cake solution go elsewhere, otherwise you get half your cake.But if you have time to order or get it the day prior, (early in the day if you want words on it 🤣) so that way it has time to thaw.

This place is amazing! They have pies, cookies, pastries, all you could need at a bakery! And, it’s all for a reasonable price. They also have a great, friendly staff and it’s a wonderful place to be. They were so helpful and kind. Jennifer was so nice and incredibly pleasant to speak with. Definitely recommend Belmar!

My nephew was wanting something sweet, so naturally, we went into the bakery to satisfy his sweet tooth. He was not disappointed in his decision to purchase a slice of their strawberry cake. When he took his first bite, his words were OMG! This is the best strawberry cake EVER. This young man is no stranger to quality baked goods, he is 20 years old and rarely eats sweets, but when he does, only belmar is able to satisfy his cravings.

First time customer here.Bought a cake for my best friends birthday.I had ordered it for pick up on August 31st but had a schedule change and needed it on the 28th, kind of last minute. I called and they happily accommodated me, cake was made before 5pm (when I needed it) and they were beyond courteous. Before leaving, on their own initiative, they offered to help me take it to my car.The cake was moist and delicious....everyone at the party has now put me in charge of buying the cakes for future events because they couldnt believe how yummy this was. And the price wasnt bad at all.Definitely coming back! Thank you so much for being professional and having amazing customer service.

Blueberry scones are my favorite! The turkey cranberry sandwich from the cafe is delicious. I always stop in when in Amarillo.

Bought a chocolate cream pie and there was a thin coat of chocolate filling and the rest was whipped cream! I’ve bought a lot of these pies through the years and they were great but this one was NOT!! Very disappointed in the tiny amount of chocolate filling in it!! Plus it was for a birthday and it was embarrassing!

The birthday cake I got there was pretty, but was very dry and did not taste good.I also had an iced sugar cookie from Belmar and it tasted really bad. I feel like it’s hard to mess up sugar cookies, but somehow they did. The icing also left a weird film in my mouth which was gross.They did used to have good lunch, so for that they get 2 stars.

Probably the best bakery in Texas. Especially the date nut bars... a signature cookie bar that is soft, sweet, nutty delicious and addictive. Buy a few dozen.The cakes and breads are awesome. My favorite is the cheeseflake rolls, again a recipe from the original owner. I cannot speak highly enough of the new owners... theyve kept the flavors of the past which keeps me stopping by.

I’ve been buying cakes from Belmar’s Bakery for a couple of years now and they normally do an amazing job-I’ve actually referred them to many people. However the past two times I ordered a cake from there it was absolutely nothing like what I had asked for. 😕 Sent pictures and everything. Won’t be buying anymore cakes from here anymore.

This bakery has given me countless birthday cake, cookie cakes, and cookies that have been perfect and exactly what I wanted! The ingredients are natural and the service is fantastic, they always make me feel welcome. I never leave without a smile and the prices are the lowest I’ve seen!

Went there for chocolate ribbon cookies and cinnamon rolls this morning. Got home to find both are clearly not from today. Closed Sunday so they have to be from Saturday (two day olds). Called to talked to a manager and got the owner who told me to “shove them up my a$$”. Been going there for well over twenty years and sad to hear that.

While we have enjoyed Belmar Bakery in the past and have ordered many cakes from them over the years, I would NOT recommend having a birthday party with them. I have four children and each year they are free to choose where we have their party. This year my daughter chose the bakery to have her 12th birthday. The decorating was fun and they enjoyed it but the owners deplorable attitude was not enjoyable. Perhaps overwhelmed by volume, life, or just an ordinary bad day her smug demeanor was unprofessional and disgusting. The way in which she spoke to her staff was unacceptable. There are several options for birthday party venues in town I recommend choosing somewhere else. To her crew, hang in there! You all are doing a great job under stress.

Fantastic baked good and excellent service! I made a very last minute order for 2 dozen cupcakes and they busted their behinds to get it done! (It was definitely my fault; I should have been more prepared) but they went the extra mile and got it done. They were delicious and surprisingly inexpensive too. Don’t shop around, just go with Belmar.

Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake is amazing!!!

I’ve had cookies from Belmar that are great and needed a last minute cake person as mine was feeling ill and I didn’t want to chance anything during a pandemic. The ordering process was easy, but the cake I asked for and the cake I received only vaguely resembled each other. I wish they would have told me they weren’t good at doing naked cakes before I finalized my order, I sent them a picture and everything :/

We stopped in early AM to pick out some things for a birthday gift. We found some tasty macaroons, some colorful artisan jellies and the service and attention that we all hope to find. Great job Belmar - well be back the next time were in the area!

I got a carrot cake today. Unfortunately was only able to eat one piece way to sweet. Seems like the whole cake was pure sugar. Very expensive carrot cake. Not even the kids could eat it just way to much sugar. An we got a couple of cookies an a raspberry cream cheese cake very small bits taken an in the trash it goes. They have no idea on how to make quality flavors come out without tons of sugar. Will never return. I could have just went to the grocery store an bought a bag of sugar would have been way cheaper!!!

I had a pretty challenging request for my grooms cake. Not only did they meet my expectations but they went over the top. Such great attention to detail and amazing customer service. On top of that the brides cake was everything she wanted and then some. 10/10 would recommend

Picked up some iced Christmas cookies and assorted cookies, they looked so pretty — everyone said they were good. Such a nice selection of baked goods, beautifully displayed and the staff very attentive.

Was not exited when my eleven year old wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, just not not my favorite. But the was rich and delicious, one my all time favorites. The screen print looked great, we will definitely be back.

Called for a dark sweet cherry pie. Not even willing to do it. We just have this kind. Thank you Scratch Made for always accommodating and working so well with your customers. Belmar is closer for me but Scratch Made is worth the drive across town for super friendly, helpful staff and always super delicious products. Signed - no longer a Belmar Bakery customer.

Tried Belmar bakery for the first time and had a really good breakfast for only $5! (sausage biscuit) I also bought some banana bread which has already been devoured by everyone.Everyone was very friendly and helpful!

Hands down the BEST bakery around! The iced sugar cookies are to die for! Their cakes are even better! They have tons of little pastries and breads and JAM! Thats Good. Anything you get in there is awesome and they have great customer service.

This place is amazing. Theyve got everything! Everything is fresh and homemade. From breads, to cupcakes, to full tableside service breakfast & lunch. Ive never been disappointed with any selection. Awesome breakfast and lunches. I go in for a full meal, a snack craving, a sweet tooth, or fresh cheese rolls to serve for dinner. Theyve got it and its absolutely delicious!

I had lunch at Belmar today after not eaten there in over 2 years. My spinach quiche had a fishy taste...weird. The cheese jalapeno soup was thin and watery. The key lime pie was tan in color and the crust was mushy and soggy. Tasteless pie. Last but not least the chocolate chip cookie on the plate was tasteless and I think it was old or pulled out of freezer, thawed and served. What happened? Two years ago the food was a lot better...

Definitely my favorite bakery in town. The staff is excellent. The food always stands out from the rest. The whole experience is one to repeat. Ownership skills are subpar on separating personal feelings when former employees transition over to just being paying customers. But overall its a great place to get some good grub. Definitely will be returning for goodness.

Made my granddaughter a birthday cake. It is adorable and just what we wanted. Very talented decorators. Great staff and owners. They definitely know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

Pretty good place to come eat. Friendly staff quiet environment, its a nice relaxing place to eat. The food was fantastic, my eggs were nice and fluffy the hash browns were perfectly crispy, and the French toast nice and cinnamony.

So after I read the reviews before mine, I was hesitant to order from here. However, they just blew my mind. What the previous 2 reviews said is not what I experienced. Stephanie went out of her way to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Being from out of town, they sent me pictures of what the final product would look like. Nowt thats going above and beyond. So, I am not sure what happened with the previous two reviews, but I can say without a shadow of doubt that they exceeded my expectations and I am going to always be a customer!! Again a huge shout out to Stephanie! Thank you all!!

I come here all the time with my friends, it’s a quiet and relaxing place. Definitely recommend, the staff are nice and the prices are very reasonable for people, especially teenagers like my self who don’t have very much money.

Serving veterans on veterans day implies they are receiving a service not food poisoning. Also- from family who at one point in the last 6 months worked there- beware of roach infestation. Apparently they are teaming with orokin but the owners are cheap so I doubt its been dealt with.

We used Belmar Bakery for my daughters wedding cake. We couldnt make a decision on what flavor, style, and size of cake that we wanted. We procrastinated so long that we were running out of time before the wedding. They were able to help us on short notice and so nice and helpful in making the decisions to best serve our needs. The cake was beautiful and so good! We also used them a little bit ago for cake and cupcakes for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They will be our go to bakery from now on!

My family had been going to Belmar Bakery for 30+ years. We used to recommend the bakery to everyone we know, because we never had a single problem... until about a year ago, last October, and again just today. Three strikes and youre out would be the appropriate phrase.Last year, I ordered a coconut cake for my sisters birthday because thats what she wanted and always got, for many years. For some reason, they changed the recipe and added a lemon filling. I had not been told about this, so when I took it home, we cut into it and my sister was very upset. She threw it out... $40 wasted. I called and the lady on the phone told me thats how theyve always made the coconut cake. I said I knew very well that it hadnt been made with lemon filling the previous 12 years we got it before. I asked for my money back and was hung up on. I called back and they said we must have gotten disconnected (sure). We got a new cake that was made how we always had gotten it, and we let it go.Last October, my mother ordered non-decorated sugar cookies for Halloween. She was going to decorate them with her grandchildren and didnt mind having to pay $40 for them. She was very specific about what she wanted and the order was taken. When I picked them up for her, I opened the box and alas... freakin decorated. I told the cashier that that wasnt what we ordered, and she got snippy with me. Good lord, whatever happened to customer service?! I was forced to take them, and my mother called and talked to the manager for nearly an hour. End result? We had to scrape them off ourselves because they couldnt make new cookies by the party the following day.Finally... today. My mother ordered another coconut cake. Asked for no lemon filling. Was denied. Asked to have Happy Birthday written on it (like we have every year). Was told it couldnt be done with coconut on top. Asked if she could pay for it when she picks it up since she didnt have money deposited until the day of. Was given an attitude about that. Talked to a manager and was told that they couldnt make her happy and wouldnt take the order.So, Belmar Bakery, my family will no longer be coming in. And I will be letting everyone we know to not go there. We will be going elsewhere and recommending our friends and family to the better bakeries in town.

They promised to do the cake like the picture we showed and did not deliver at all. Very disappointed. The lady was also EXTREMELY rude! Would never go again or recommend to anyone

Omg love tgis place somuch!!!! Staff is amazing and love the cakes, we have got our gender reveal, our sons first bday smash cake and his 2nd bday and have never had a problem or been upset!!!!! Worth everything you spend!!!

Used this place for the last 5 years and are so disappointed with them I go in to order a cake for my son the girl tells me they are not doing any more cakes til after December with an attitude I ask to speak wth a manager she comes out talked to me then God back and send someone else out we discuss the cake and the I ask how much .She goes back and brings a figure of 245 dollars she says since they have limited decorators so she has to charge by the minute basically they were trying to get rid of me enornormus pricing otherwise gouging I ask to speak to the owner she said they were traveling and they turned everything over to her and would not give me the number so I left mine but I dont think they will get it if any one can put me in touch with them I would appreciate it SO VERY POOR service from a LOCAL business

The cookies made me sick to my stomach .. the frosting tastes like pure powdered sugar it hit my jaw so bad.

Used to love this place, especially the napoleons. Now it seems everything is made ahead and is dry and almost stale.
