I live only a short 5 minutes away from this diamond in the rough. It is my absolute favorite shop I have ever stepped in to. The exquisite shop owner is both charming and kind and has two lovely cats to accompany her ! Her selection of books is amazing and it’s my first choice of shop whenever I’m in the downtown area. Some days the hours can be inconsistent but to me- it adds charm and makes it much more worth the wait ! Please visit this little piece of paradise whenever you are in downtown Amherst

What a charming bookstore! I was immediately captivated when I read the sign on the door: Please do not let the cat out. My visit was too short, and I will return soon. Such places are to be treasured when found.

Lovely bookstore, I spent a lot of time here on my visit to Ohio; I came across a copy of East of Eden and thought it was $4 but it was $40...thank you to the sweet lady who gave .e it for free.Greetings from Scotland, I hope you and your bookstore are doing well.
