At 72 years old I dread dealing with the current motorcycle culture. In my search for a new bike I visited four dealers to see what they had in a used ride. Two were real you know whats. One was okay. Timms, they were great, because they have a quality that is missing now a days. They treat you with respect. That started with meeting Casey. Polite, knowledgeable and not pushy. My search ended up with my pricing a new Heritage Softail. Timms went out of their way to find one in the color I wanted. We went to Timms this past weekend looking for a new street glide or road glide. We had previously purchased a motorcycle two years ago from Timms that wasn’t a great experience but wasn’t a terrible experience. We walked around the dealership looking at every motorcycle new and used as well as outside. We were there for about 20-30 minutes and no one bothered to notice our existence. We stood in front of a street glide talking for a bit about what to do but still several employees walked past us and didn’t bother to ask us if we needed help. I personally think it is because of the way we were dressed that day. Needless to say we drove to Greenville Harley where the sales guy recognized us and we purchased a 2021 Billiard red Street Glide.

After visiting another dealership and waiting over 20 minutes for someone to help me (they were not busy) I decided to see what Timms had to offer. Upon walking through the door I was greeted by Kim (absolutely awesome salesperson) and was pointed towards the bikes I was interested in. After expressing interest in and receiving a quote for a Road Glide I was urged to ride both a Road and Street Glide back to back. Great call, I ended up getting the Street Glide Special. Timms beat the other dealership by several thousand dollars out the door. Absolutely the best experience I could have had.

My husband and I recently bought our first Harley together here at Timms, and it was truly a stress free, amazing experience. The staff here are kind and caring and do their absolute best to work with you and the banks to get you on the bike of your dreams! Kim was our sales person and she kept us updated through texts, phone calls, and made sure that we knew what was going on at all times. I really truly feel like when you shop at Timms you become part of a family there. Kim worked her behind off to not only help us trade my husbands truck in but also get us approved for a loan that we could handle the payments on and walked us through the steps of all of this with the most amazing attitude, kindness, and friendliness that you just dont get at other places. The service here rocks! We will be coming back hopefully within the next year or two to get mine and look forward to working with Kim and the Crew again!

They were great. We were on a ride through the area and ended up with a damaged rear tire. Not only did they have it they made time to install it right away. Everybody was so friendly.

Great Dealership, Best Experience Ive ever had at a dealership.

Did not get to test drive, did not get to sign the wall or ring the bell. Did not get to take pics of the bike. They forgot to give me my plates from my old bike which were being transfered when it was delivered. Got a email from the manager at timms asking about my experiences. Send him an email in return telling about it and never heard back from him. Guess once you buy one they wash their hands.

Great service. Very helpful at the service department. Really enjoyed my visit.

Out of anger I rated this place with a 1 star review. But after talking to the manager and salesman it appeared both the salesman and I were off a bit with numbers. We talked calmly as adults to figure out an option and it all worked out. Since then I have bought multiple motorcycles from this place. Everyone is professional, courteous, and helpful.

Kim and the team definitely made it so easy to leave on the bike I wanted, and truly cared that it was the bike that I truly wanted. I was nervous about the payment process and what not but I honestly have never felt more comfortable setting up a payment plan. The whole team made me feel right at home and made me feel so comfortable, would definitely recommend Kim to anyone else looking to buy a bike, she knows her stuff, shes quick to help out and shes definitely there to help the customer find what THEY need and want

I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had purchasing anything. Kim and the staff at Timms Harley Davidson are the best in service. My apologies for not remembering everyones name. But from the first call to pulling off from the dealer it was painless and I left with a huge smile. Immediately after speaking to the sales manager he introduced me to Kim. She immediately sent me pictures of the motorcycle and went beyond to answer any questions or concerns I had. Its funny but you can certainly hear and feel and wonderful attitude and demeanor over the phone. Once we met face to face I felt like I was family and belonged right there. She introduced me to everyone in the dealerships different departments and by the way they were all awesome. Not to call there names is a injustice due to the great service each provided. Kim is a asset to the dealership and we still keep In contact. She checks on me and the motorcycle to ensure I am having a great experience. That is almost unheard of this day and time after the deal is done. To say the least from the first call to the drop off everyone there is top notch. By the way free painless drop off to Ga as well. My customer journey at Timms Harley-Davidson Of Anderson began with a dream. A dream that I decided to pursue to fruition. I had a long history of riding all kinds of motorcycles on road and off. One thing that I had never had was a Harley-Davidson big twin.When I went into the Timms Harley-Davidson dealership in Anderson, South Carolina (I live in Greenville) the first employee I met was Casey. I was straight with him. I told him I was over a year away from buying, but wanted more information about the bikes. My intent on a delayed purchase did not deter him from answering all of my questions, and playing a key role in helping me to narrow down the bike of my dreams. To shorten a long story, that bike turned out to be the 2020 LowRider S in Black.Due to a series of fortuitous events, partially stemming from tragedy as some events of this nature inevitably do, I found myself able to purchase my dream bike sooner than I thought.When I was ready to pull the trigger Travis stepped in. When I went to the store on January 9th, 2020 he was my guide in the customer journey. It seemed surreal to me, as I’m sure it does to others when someone is guiding you through a process where you’re constantly pinching yourself to determine if it’s reality, or just a dream. I had been having this dream for months after all. My heart raced.The first person Travis introduced me to was Nicole. She in turn introduced me to Stephanie and Heidi, both of whom I had met before. The first time I went into the dealership, Heidi gave me my military veterans T-shirt. She even gave me one to send to a dear friend who is a retired Colonel. Heidi’s kindness and generosity helped to kindle a strong loyalty to Timms Harley-Davidson.A couple of months later I went in and Stephanie helped me to pick out five Timms Harley-Davidson T-shirts. I also bought a couple of pairs of genuine Harley-Davidson jeans.After my visit to the motor clothes department, I was introduced to the parts department. Great folks. I loved the way they understood that I wanted a bone stock big twin. I give them great credit for not trying to talk me into modifications. What this dealership didn’t do became just as important as what they did do. They truly respect what the customer wants.My next stop with my tour guide, Travis, was to the service department. Those guys were amazing. Their experience and knowledge were second to none. Travis took me on a great test ride. I loved the torque, handling, and power of the LowRider S. He is a fine ride Captain. He kept me in his rear view mirror to make sure I was okay, and enjoying the ride.It was then time to meet with Erica. She explained, and showed real examples, of the benefits of the extended warranty. It is also an enhanced warranty. To my surprise it was much more affordable than similar car warranties. I opted for the three year/unlimited mileage plan. I’ll admit, I’m not big on “extended warranties” on things; however, the way she explained the benefits, it was too hard to pass up. She also fixed me up with my leather jacket, leather vest, boots, and an indoor/outdoor bike cover. The bike will be staying in my brothers “man cave” between adventures, but I wanted it as protected and pampered as possible, after all this is my dream bike. When I rode the bike home to Greenville, before riding it to my brothers place in Anderson to it’s “temperature controlled storage” I was really glad I had those motor clothes. Even in January I was able to enjoy the ride in comfort.Finally, it was time to meet with Kevin. He is an amazing mechanic who spent at least thirty-minutes of his very valuable time going over the features of the bike.Update: As you can see in the posted photos, Ive added a Tallboy saddle, and some passenger pegs. I also rented a storage building two miles from my condo so I can keep the bike close and convenient when the urge to ride hits me.I recently got my 1000 mile service on the bike. Had my first experience at Timm’s last weekend. The experience at Timm’s is like a tight knit family. They walk you around and introduce you to the lead guys in all the areas of the facility. I live 2 hours away, but my salesman, Casey Wike, stayed in contact with me from the get-go. He was right there waiting once I arrived and made the process as simple and painless as he could. Well purchased a battery 12.2020 for my girl 2004 screaming eagle Scarlett. 2 6 21 I return to Florida and imagine my dissatisfaction when Gainesville HD informs me my new 🔋 is 2 years old and wont hold a charge. Buddy would not stand behind it nor would GHD. Glad to be putting SC in my rear view mirror...(Only good thing in Anderson SC is the PD specifically Deputy Looney and the court for returning MY Bike to Me). Riders be careful in this state.. The laws support the outlaws instead of a real Harley Riding Lady!

Timms Harley Davidson in Anderson is a great place to buy your new motorcycle. The people there are outstanding. They instantly made me feel like family. My salesman Allen did a fantastic job of helping me find the kind of bike I wanted even though I wasnt really sure what I wanted yet. Everyone there was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions and even stayed late to make sure I would be able to leave with my new bike and that I would have all the information I needed to operate it safely. I can be a tough customer sometimes but the crew there never gave me a reason to complain about anything. I could not recommend them more highly. Take my word for it. You will not be disappointed.
