Went in to try and find parts for my golf cart, was told they didnt have them in stock but Mercy said she could order it for us and would call when it came in three weeks later still no call so I texted her got absolutely no response, waited another week and called was told she was busy with another customer and would call me back when she was done with them. And still no call back,text or any other forms of getting back with me so as far as Im concerned they do not want my business so ill look for someone else who does. Not a good way to run a business

The girls that work here are great!! The front desk lady was extremely kind and they only have the latest and greatest. The show room is organized really well and everything is clean. The guys in the back are working the fastest they can with the limited help and I can appreciate that.

Took cart for motor. Got it back had no more power . Took it back, they said nothing wrong with it. Picked it up and took it to another shop. Checked out and they said motor could not have been rebuilt,there was low compression.8 weeks later and 1600.00 later and need to get motor rebuilt. I would not recommend they for even parts

Its ok! Usually have to order parts for older golf carts, there slightly high priced, I order mine online if im not in a hurry!

Giving a 3 because there just isnt hardly any used product for people to choose from. And in my personal opion...$85.00 an hour for minor labor is extreme. I still like the place but some things could be changed for the better. For 2 years I e tried to purchase a cart from there and every time Ive been there or called there isnt any used gas carts there. Maybe they will step it up some day ??? But over all, its a nice place.

The cart was to be delivered yesterday afternoon. The owner just called and said they missed it and they’re going to make it right by me. That’s all I ask.

I had purchased 2 V-glides from them prior to me dropping it off which burned up as soon as we put them in. We took our golf club cart there in April of 2016. We told Jared when we dropped it off that the V glide was burned up on it and that was the problem. Well after several calls(which was once a week) to see if they had looked and/or fixed yet. I always got the same lie my cart was next and/or they are looking at it now ! Finally when they did look at in September they told me it was the V-glide and that there was a problem with them . Shocking I told them that when I dropped it off! Then I was that there was only one manufacturer in the U.S. and that the manufacturer was not able to produce the V-glide correctly anymore. After having no golf cart all summer and paying out over $200 in V-glides and never receiving any money back or sorry we had your cart all summer and never looked at. I had a problem believing that there was no V-glide in the U.S. for my golf cart. My sister lives in Florida we were there on vacation and I went to a golf dealer and guess what he had the V-glide!! And he never heard of any problems with the V-glides. We bought it brought it home and fix it. And guess what it runs!!!Im very disappointed in all the lies that Hot Rod told us! Please search around before you take your cart here!!!!

High prices. Lots of inventory. Have seen some of the nice models they have done into fancy ones. Very good work just looking,for me.

We called hot rod golf carts for our starter and king pin bushings to be fixed. Dropped it off in late August of 2016. After calling them NUMEROUS times to find out if it was fixed, we finally received it in January of 2017 and the motor was blown. Tell me how you blow a motor by changing a starter. We went and talked to Mercedes (the receptionist) she told us that the mechanic messed up at least 3 other carts and she apologized to us. We asked to talk to the owner, her reply was he told her to deal with it...... What great customer service on his part. So that being said, Mercedes was very nice and apologetic and told us she would make it right. That we could have our $576 back or they would come pick it up and fix it (we live approx. 60 miles away). After calling more than twice a week. We finally get a call in June of 2017 that the cart is ready. We get there and they are trying to charge us over $900 for their mistake. And not to mention them having it for 10 months. So still no cart... but WE WILL BE TAKING FURTHER ACTION ON THIS MATTER ....YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT. By the way Mercedes is no longer employed there, so the satisfaction guarantee left with her I guess. Along with at least 2 other mechanics that played a role in this mess. So make sure you check around, and reconsider taking your cart to Scott, Joel and the gang at Hot Rod Carts. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!

Took our cart in for a new starter & king pin bushings late August 2016. Months went by, couldnt get a hold of anyone. Finally, just before Christmas they call & apologize for the inconvenience, they lost their mechanics. We drive quite a distance (60miles) to pick it up after coordinating with new mechanic... nobody is around. Nobody will return phone calls. Finally get a return call about a week later. Mechanic says he was in the hospital. Coordinate another pick-up in January of 2017. Got it. $600. Get it home... motor SMOKES HORRENDOUSLY!!! They try to tell me the cart didnt have oil in it when it was dropped off (almost 6 months earlier). Um, the cart ran great when it was dropped off for a new starter & wheel bushings!! We return in person to address the issue. Employee named Mercedes works with us, and informs us that they have gone thru several mechanics since we 1st dropped off our cart, & had asst least 3 other customers with similar stories. Mercedes was very helpful & assure us they would make it right. Either our $ back, or have them fix it. She scheduled to pick the cart up & fix it free of charge. Here we are 6 months later, June of 2017, carts done. Drive to pick it up.... over a $900 bill. Mercedes no longer works here & she didnt say that. Will not tell us Mercedes last name, or work with us in any manner. Asked to speak with the owner, Scott Patton. Will not speak with us, will not work with us. Getting all of our mechanical information from a detail guy, Joel, who argues with us about the mechanics of our cart.BUYER BEWARE!!!VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Our cart ran great when dropped off, just needed a starter & wheel bushings.... $1500 later.....SHAME ON YOU & YOUR BUSINESS SCOTT PATTON!!

Checked their website. Open until 3 pm on Saturdays. Drove all the way from Litchfield, MI. Got there right around 1pm. Locked up tight. Went back to Quincy, MI and spent our $800 there. ZERO STAR RATING!!!!
