CameraMall is a class act, all around. Let me tell you a quick story. I ordered a lens from them, and because of a communication issue on my end, I received the wrong lens. I opened the box, looked at the lens, recognized it was the wrong lens, closed the box, and returned it to them for them to exchange it for the correct lens. The following week, I am looking at their used stuff on the website and I see that lens! Rather than returning the lens to new stock, they were selling it as open-box at a 10% loss. Big integrity move. My experience is that many retailers do not operate this way. Cant say enough about the great customer service at CameraMall. Order from them with 100% confidence.

After going to a camera shop that just plopped a camera in front of me and saying that is what we need without much explanation, I was determined to understand not only what I needed but why. We drove 45 minutes to one of the only open Sunday camera shops nearby, Camera Mall, and boy it did not disappoint! Jeffrey spent a great deal of time with us explaining different options that suited our needs, using language that a beginner could understand. He gave suggestions without being pushy and was overall incredibly pleasant to work with. We were very pleased to be able to make an informed decision and were thrilled to spend our money with such a great local business.

Looking for your new favorite photography store? Look no further! Seriously, youve found it. I went about a week or two ago to purchase my first camera in 15 years. One of the owners (Desmond) took a generous amount of time patiently explaining everything I needed to know about every product I was considering (camera+accessories). There was zero pressure and zero upselling; in fact, he talked me out of a product or two that I didnt really need! One would be hard-pressed to find business owners and staff friendlier and more genuine than these guys. Truly you come for the photography gear and stay for the human beings behind it all. I was in a bind, leaving on a flight the next day at noon and the lens I had rented wouldnt arrive in time - thank goodness for CameraMall! Easy online inventory and sorting to see I wasnt sunk and the lenses were ready for me to pick up nearly the moment the shop was open the next day.The staff is friendly, energetic and eager to chat with everyone that stops in. Great store with great people!I am just starting my journey into the vast world of photography and the people working here have been a valuable asset. Dont know how something works? Ask away! They have the answer and they are happy to educate you on how the product in question works. They also have a rental system where you can test drive things like lenses before you make a large purchase. (I still have yet to try this out, but it is going to happen.)So, if you need anything camera related, please start here. They are local, knowledgeable, and nice!(PS I also bought a tripod from their online store and it arrived in record time, with careful packaging, and was at a great price. So there is always that option if you cant get to the physical location!)

Last month, we found ourselves needing a rush print order. CameraMalls entire staff went above and beyond to help us out. I absolutely love this place! They saved me!! I needed to learn how to use my gimbal and quick! So I called CameraMall and they told me to come right in. I did and Jeff immediately helped me learn how to set up my gimbal in less than 5 mins. I spent hours on YouTube and Jeff showed me everything I needed to know literally in 5 mins. Im not local to Camera Mall but was told by a friend they stocked something I was looking for.Turns out this is just a terrific camera shop. They are fast to respond to questions, knowledgeable about their products, and unbelievably quick to implement suggested feedback. The items Ive ordered shipped seemingly minutes after I ordered them, and arrived quickly and well-packed. Im loathe to give away my secret supplier, since theyve now shipped me two items that are in short supply, but these guys deserve your business.Ive shopped at the big box places for a long time, and while sometimes you cant beat the inventory of those stores, you definitely cant beat the service of smaller outfit like this one. In a world of online retailers and terrible customer service, I feel so grateful to have CameraMall---a shining example of what terrific customer service looks like. I recently went in to buy a speedlight and strobe system (knowing very little about strobes and OCF), and Jared Haas spent almost an hour teaching me the basics of OCF, walking me through different equipment options, helping me come up with the most effective setup for my budget, and even going as far as drawing up a lighting schematic for me on paper! Jareds attentiveness and compassion was so appreciated--I felt like he had my best interests at heart during every step of the buying process. Highly recommend CameraMall, Jared, and all the staff!

If you’re looking to purchase camera gear, I recommend for you to seriously consider the Camera Mall in Ann Arbor, Michigan.I was looking to purchase a Tamron 70-200mm DI VC USD G2. While I like to patronize local businesses, especially in light of the past year, I saw a very tempting special online. I called the Camera Mall (who is an official dealer of many photography brands) informing them that I saw the special, where I saw it and asked if there was any way they could meet or partially meet that special because I wanted to patronize them.Although they were very busy at the time, I was informed by the employee that they would look into it and the manager would return my call that day. In no way did they make me feel that I was a bother even though the store was busy. The manager, Emma, returned my call shortly afterwards, thanked me for inquiring and informed me that she could fully honor that particular online special. She was very friendly and expedited my request.Additionally, because I have to continue social distancing she quickly set up my special purchase online providing everything I needed to quickly handle the purchase of my lens and thanked me for calling them to do business with them. They also offered to ship it to me for free, but I wanted to drive down to pick it up myself. They have very easy curbside service.The Camera Mall has a new location which is fantastic. They now have a parking lot, so it’s easy to park and shop without dealing with finding a parking space, walking long distances, or dealing with parking meters. It’s a wonderful big new store so I look forward in the future to going in and looking around.All of the staff were courteous, knowledgeable and expedited all of my requests. CameraMall came in clutch for me. I needed a new Fuji camera for a film shoot very last minute.It was Saturday at 4pm. I scoured the entire state for a shop that: 1. Had the Fuji body in stock and 2. Was open Sunday.I called here a minute after close and Emma still answered my call and my questions. I order the body online and they had my order ready the next day before I even walked in the store at 11 on Sunday.The shoot went very smoothly, and that was in large part due to CameraMalls great service. My experiences at and with CameraMall have been absolutely wonderful. I went into the store while on a trip to Michigan. I only went in to grab a few small items and ended up spending about an hour in the store. The staff was so helpful, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the items I was looking for. Great local camera shop in Ann Arbor. The staff are helpful and friendly. Even though its easy to order next to anything online, its great to be able to support a local business. The store hosts photography lessons, speakers and other events. Parking is difficult to find, but its worth it.

I am a photography novice at best. I went into Camera Mall knowing that I wanted a new camera, probably mirrorless, most likely Canon. Camera Mall now carries Canon! They carry a wide assortment of camera gear, cameras, and lenses, from many names. However I was raised on Canon, and it has been wonderful to add specific Canon lenses and gear to my collection. Everyone who works there is especially helpful, whether you are starting out or youve years of experience. Theyre happy to show you all the possibilities for what you have in mind, and they will give you the pros and cons of each. Being able to lease a lens before you buy it has also been helpful, and its shown me that there are a lot of great options out there. They have something for whatever your budget may be, and they have the knowledge to answer any questions you bring their way.

This place is awesome! I rented the sigma 35mm and a long range Tamron lens and loved it. I would definitely recommend getting gear from here. Some stuff is overpriced but they are very helpful and you can get items same day.

Probably not going to go back. Paid for an SD card I could have got on amazon for half the cost. They do however have a good selection of filters.Update: You can find the same card on the manufacturers website for the same price as listed on amazon.

Nice little store. People are friendly and they have a lot of gear at decent prices. Only 2 small issues. 1 its a pain to find a place to park to get in there and difficult to see as your driving by. And 2 the name mall is a very far stretch. Its a little corner shop. But they off specials and photography walks which is pretty cool. Also store was clean.

I live in southern Ohio but found myself in Ann Arbor so I stopped in at the CameraMall. I was really having a hard time deciding between two cameras but the staff there really took their time and talked me through it. At the time I was not quite ready to make the purchase but I was so impressed with everyone there that when I was back in Ohio and was ready they got my business. There are a lot of places you can buy a camera but why not buy one from people who provide top notch service and great prices!!

I could not be happier with this business. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable. I called them in a panic because we just returned home from vacation and somehow, our memory card had been wiped clean They were able to recover all of our photos and only charged me $40. It was going to cost at least $250 at Best Buy. I then asked them if they could recover videos from an old video camera card we had accidentally deleted - well, sure enough we get a call three days later that they had done it again! They were able to recover our video files. I mostly worked with/talked to Desmond, and he has been AWESOME. Thus store has earned my business for life. Its obvious they really care about their customers. I am definitely going to Camera Mall for all of my camera needs, and you should too!!!!

Had an accident with my go-to top lens, Canon 24-70 f2.8. Had to replace it fast, so I made my first visit there and was happy to find that they were selling the new version of my favorite lens for the same price as Amazon. One of the staff there was kind enough to package up my damaged lens so I could send it off to Canon to be repaired. You cant get that from Amazon.
