It’s nice, clean place… the store person Ms Danielle is so professional and courteous. She knows her job and she offered best service to me for my tyre replacement. Eric on the phone was real good too.. surely recommend this place.

Came in late in the day (around 7pm) with a flat I needed repaired and they fixed it fast! Store was clean and empty and they were able to get me back on the road in about 30 minutes. Both the service rep and mechanic who pulled my car around were super nice! 10/10 would come back.

I had never bought a tire on my own before, and I honestly didnt know what to expect. You hear stories of people getting ripped off or the store associate is really pushy and wants you to buy multiple things. This was NOT the case! I spoke to Daniela who was very kind and informative, she gave me different tire options and I asked for her professional opinion (she did not push me to get the most expensive tire, which I thought was admirable). She asked if I wanted an alignment and I declined, and again was not pushy at all. I had a spare tire on and once everything was done they were able to put my spare back into my trunk and even put the hub cap back on the new tire. I dont know if that is standard procedure, but I thought it was really nice. They also recycled the old tire. Thank you Daniela and team for your kindness and attention to detail, it is much appreciated. Great work, and I will be coming here again if I ever need another tire. Also, since I had never purchased a tire before I was asking a lot of questions, Daniela answered all of them thoroughly and was very patient with me. Excellent customer service.

Had the best service here at this location! I have been to other locations before and this one just made me come back because of the amazing service they provided. Daniela was so kind and stayed calm even when I had so many questions! I will definitely be returning for any work I need done in the future even though it’s farther then the location closer to my house.

Best car care service I’ve experienced yet! We were driving back from Chicago when our brakes started to go out. We took it somewhere else first that quoted us an astronomical price for the fix, so I called over to Mavis, which was right across the street. Jorge Ramirez worked hard to bring down the cost and gave us a quote that was half as much. Parts are out of stock everywhere but he called around and found us what we needed and got them delivered right away. They had a very full bay but helped get us on our way, given we still have a few hours’ drive to get home. Start to finish we were out the door within hours. I only wish this place was located where I live; I’d take my car here every time. A+ for kindness, A+ for price, A+ for quality of work and parts, A+ for waiting room

Had an appt at 11 am for a tire change. Dropped my car and came back at 3.30 pm they did not do anything. I was told they are short staffed. I assume they are more interested in higher price tag serviceEven with a short staff 4 hour is more than enough time for a tire change.Avoid this place

Had a flat tire on a road trip, coming back from Chicago, on a Sunday. Called Mavis, they had the tire in stock, told us it would be about 3 hours to get in. Got the car in exactly at the time they advised. Replaced 2 front tires, aligned, balanced, and they even told us about a small bend in one of the rims. Very courteous and friendly staff. Couldnt have had a better experience.

Have had MULTIPLE great experiences here. I have a very difficult work schedule and every issue I have had the staff has done a great job being flexible and getting me in and taken care of. They did a great job not just explaining the issues but also showing me as well. It is never fun having to bring your car in to the shop when something goes wrong....However, when it inevitably does happen, this is the first place I would recommend going. 5+ stars for customer service.

My brakes started grinding a couple of days ago and was fearing the exuberant prices that comes with that. I couldn’t wait any longer and had to have my brakes fixed today (Sunday) I called Mavis and spoke with Paul and he informed me they closed at 5PM. It was about 3PM and with no thought about it said to come in and they will squeeze me in.This place is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and the repairs were very affordable. I replaced the tires on October 2020, purchased insurance, and did the alignment on my wifes car at this store location. They never told me I had a bad suspension in the front when they checked the car before the new tire installation or when they did the alignment. Later I found out the the front tires were worn out after a few months of driving. I then spoke with Chris, the store manager, that they serviced my car without warning me that parts needed to be replaced before installing new tires. Chris then spoke with Dennis, person who is in charge of warranty on corporate level, and said they would give me 20% off to replace the front tires but I would have to purchase the new alignment again. They blamed that maybe we hit a pothole and messed up my front suspension. I told Chris the the front suspension had two bad ball joint and two control arms which caused both front tires to be worn out evenly. I told Chris that this offer was not right after spending $1,000 for a new set of tires which didnt last even a year. Chris then called Dennis and offered 30 dollars off each tire and would still have to pay for the alignment. I told Chris I would not take the car back this location because they rip people off. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone after this experience. They take your money and blame potholes to get out of making things right.

I went to this shop for a flat tire repair but turned out tire pressure dropped due to cold weather and my tires were fine. The guys here inflated my tires and didn’t charge me for anything, although they spent their time checking all the tires. Great service and friendly mechanics/staff! Highly recommended shop!!

This is my second time visiting this location. The first time I got a really good deal on tires and that’s what brought me back. I can’t say that I am very pleased with the repeat business I just gave Mavis Tire. I asked to have my battery replaced and my windshield washer fluid topped off. I also bought some wipers because the sales person was very kind and I was eager to give this place my business due to a past good experience. Sales person acknowledged they would take care of wipers, fluid and battery.After about 30 minutes, the car was completed and brought out to me with my keys. I paid $226 and walked out to my car. Before I left the lot, I popped my hood and wanted to see the new battery. To my surprise, the battery tie down was missing and the bolts weren’t there. Had I not decided to check under my hood, I would have driven off with a floppy battery. This is extremely dangerous. I went back into the store and demanded that they bolt the battery down in the same way it was when I brought my car in. They apologized and took care of it. As I drove off and tested my new wipers, I learned that there was no washer fluid. This means they didn’t top it off like they said they would do.I wanted to head back over to the store to get the fluid taken care of but I decided not to because I don’t have the time or patience to deal with negligence. I will avoid this place and will be seeking other locations to service my car in the future.

Got a tire replaced here, as I am driving home from the store the TPMS sensor lights up on the dash. Never had this issue before. Brought it back to them to see if they can fix it. They said these things last 10 years and mine just happened to go bad the same day they replaced my tire. Seriously, a 10 year life and it goes bad the same day you change my tire and it is a coincidence? Not going here anymore.

I was there to replace the tires under Michelin warranty program but had a really bad experience. when i was selecting the tires & finalizing the package i asked sales rep that i do not want to replace the TPMS Sensor Service Kit but he told me that he have to change. I ask him then why you guys have option that customer can do tires replacement with or without TPMS kit online. He replied me that he dont have without TPMS kit option. Finally i have approved because i dont had any option. I have checked all the tires once i got home find out that only one of TPMS replaced & 3 other looks old. Looks like it hasnt been changed.As per sales rep they will be sending back old tires to manufacture & still i got charged the tire disposal fee.Its really terrible. Never ever again visit NTB.

Wonderful experience with this shop!For anyone who is unfamiliar with Mavis Tire they are a chain that has been in business in the eastern states for decades. Some of the defunct NTB locations got bought by them bringing the Mavis name to the midwest.I am in the auto industry and used to work in the shop. Needless to say Im picky about who touches my vehicles. Chris, Paul and Ronnie set my mind at ease and did a very fast professional job at replacing my tires and alignment. Great crew and I will be coming back!

I had a very bad experience here. I recently noticed that the air out of my tire kept going out I called NTB and they told me to come in the next day. I was scheduled for 8am and I come in the environment at first glance was friendly. Although at some parts of the appointment I felt as if I was being treated how most women get treated, like they don’t know anything. I have a background with cars in general and I have been put in this situation more than once. It’s a shame that as a young woman you can’t go into a shop with your car without having to be worried about being treated like you don’t know anything. At the end of the appointment I was told that there is no issue with the tire and that it’s inflated correctly and I just need a new sensor. That would have been fine if that was the case. 3 days late I check the tire pressure and once again not enough air, and I felt lied to at this point. Your tire can’t lose 15 psi in 3 days without a leak. I called and talked to Tim the service manager and he seemed nice the only one who seemed to actually understand. So I work and attend school Tim told me to come down within an hour and I did mention I have work at 4 he said that’s fine. I get there and I can’t locate Tim, than I talk to Carlos the store manager and I am all for standing by your employees but making the customer feel like you don’t believe or they are wrong not a good idea. I ended up wasting my time for lunch to go do this and ended up coming back home heated in search for a better shop. If your a young women I wouldn’t recommend it

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This chain is by far the worst I’ve ever seen. Unlike their competition your tires are NOT covered by a warranty once you get them replaced. If that’s not a bad sign I don’t know what is. I came in to get one tire replaced that I purchased at this location less than a year ago.It’s taken two hours to replace that ONE tire. I don’t understand how that’s possible. It’s going to cost $110 for a tire that doesn’t match my current set of tires. You have to buy road coverage separately for the tires again, a bad sign. This location/chain is the scam shop that you hear bad stories about. They will nickel and dime you for everything and overcharge items.They told me it would cost $32 per lug nut. I said no way asked them to drive me to O’Reillys down the street where I got all four sets replaced for less than $32. Please NEVER come to this shop.

I was out and about trying to put air in my tires because we finally had a break in the weather (only for it to start snowing again when I was almost finished with this task 🙄). I had one tire where I couldnt get the cap unscrewed...probably due to the below freezing temps weve been having. I pulled into Mavis since they were one of the few places close and opened on a Sunday. I walked in and discussed my problem. The gentlemen went above and beyond to help me. Besides filling up my tire, they also fitted me with plastic caps for all my tires so I wont run into the problem of difficulty with unscrewing my caps during/after below freezing temps.During this harsh weather and stress during the pandemic, its nice to still see people trying to provide good customer service in the midst of it all. Thank you Mavis Tires & Brakes!!!

They offer free air pressure check

Ok, it was a Saturday and I picked up a nail in a worn tire, so I decided to see if I could just throw a inexpensive set of 4 tires on my work car. I found Mavis online checked it out the prices and went for it. I had no issue with the generic tires, or it would be the 25 minutes to get me in the shop.But thats not how it all went down. After check in I went for a walk to a big box store next door and was gone about 50 minutes; figuring 25 minutes to get in and 30 to 40 minutes to change the tires. Well, when I returned, they had pulled the car in and put in the air but that was it for over 45 minutes. I walked in the store and figured, have a seat and relax, but as I started to look for a seat I realized the place was completely filthy not cleaned to any standard of covid-19 guidelines and decided I would spend the time outside the store. I stood outside in the drizzle, and mild cool weather, I waited another 45 minutes before anyone said a word to me, and this is now well out of the time frame I was given when I arrived and was told on the phone by the service writer, but its Saturday and I wasnt in a big hurry or anything. finally the service manager asked if I wanted to come see my car, thought he wanted to show me something or up sell me but not the case, said brakes were good no real issues, a lot of original parts nothing else. I went back out side, and still nobody was working on the car tires which were off but just sitting on floor. I waited another 20 to 30 minutes before they even started to mount the tires to the rims. I checked in at about 1:15 pm and the invoice closed at 3:56pm, thats a long time for 4 tires.When I had paid they claimed to take $10 off a tire but the balance of the invoice was the same as the original quote with the taxes. I was charged $15.96 for Test TPMS system and batteries and the car is not equipped with TPMS and wasnt offered on this car in 2007. I also noticed I declined 2 services which I was told my brakes were fine so I assume they looked, and nobody said a word to me about the alignment. but these Items are listed as declined by customer, that would be false as I was never told or offered these services.In closing, I see as a consumer several issues of not recommending the Arlington Heights Mavis Store, First they misrepresented the time they would need the car greatly and acted like they wanted to trap the customer by removing the tires and leaving hang for almost 2 hours.Misrepresented the truth on the invoice, I was never asked, told or discussed those services with any employee. Lastly the filthy condition of the store, heavy dirt, dust and generally run down condition of the overall facility, shows they dont care about their appearance, how can they show proper care with your car.Price is comparable to other tire sellers in area, service lacks customer care, facility filth could cost you your life, to save a few dollars on tires.Pass and continue to look because as a person with 4 vehicles they wont be seeing me again.

With the pandemic and tensions at all time highs, its super refreshing to deal with good attitudes and outstanding customer service ... Carlos whom came in on his birthday and was working by himself did a great job in prioritizing his tasks and customers and still being exceptionally professional. I messed up and forgot my wheel for my new tire, but when I returned they took my car right in and got to work ! I have NEVER been here before but I will be back for any other future tire needs . thanks Carlos!

I just want to give a big shout out to Will. After dealing with a bunch of different tire shops and getting disappointed, Will was able to find exactly what I wanted. He was extremely nice, professional, and understanding. I couldn’t have asked for better service, especially during these Covid times, it was nice to deal with someone who knew what they were doing and was extremely professional and transparent with everything. As long as Will is working at this location. I am taking my vehicle here for service. 💯

Went to the Arlington Heights NTB due to wheel shake after having tires installed at a different NTB location. After I experienced the wheel shake I took it back to a different NTB and they said everything was fine. Nope, still had the shake. So I went to AH location due to its proximity to my job and it being a different location. Rich helped me right away and assured me that he would figure it out. Sure enough he did. One of my tire pressure sensors was broke off, in my tire, just flopping around. He says it would have thrown off the balancer at the last location. The point is, Rich dug a little deeper, took a little bit more time to help a customer. I will definitely be back. Thanks again Rich!

I made an online appointment for purchase and installation of tires. I talked to a quite unfriendly manager Carlos for it. The store was not busy theres only one other customer waiting there plus me. After waiting for 45 minutes in the store Carlos approached me saying that the tires were shipped to a different store??? He said it was an online appointment and there is nothing he can do. He said he can install a better (expensive) set of tires and can do it now for a few minutes. What???? People order online all the time right. If you are the manager of a store these are the little things you should be on top of the situation. It would have been nicer if he apologized first before telling me the mistake they did on the shipping. Would have been nice if he did not made me wait for 45 minutes. No wonder the place is not busy. I told him just give me the keys back and goodbye.

If I could give a 0 I would. This is place is a MAJOR RIPOFF! I purchased 4 new tires from there not even 2 months ago and just had a blow out on the road. I called to see what I needed to do in order to receive new tire which must be under warranty. They told me I opted out of warranty options which I most certainly did not, as this is company vehicle that incurs all expenses. The salesmen said sorry “there’s nothing we can do, we can sell you another” you would think they would try to work with me considering my recent purchase as well as the fact that their “records” are clearly incorrect.

My experience was good. I was able to go in to take my car to get a check up and to see what problems my car had. They were able to check it with no problems and the employees and supervisors were very professional. I would recommend them again.
