Its new in our area (couple months occupied), once return door found was inside for less than 2 minutes. By the time I sat in my car, credit card was credited. Very nice Amazon and Amazonians.

Employee was very helpful. Ive been to this GameStop for years & they are typically well stocked & the employees have always been great to work with at this location.

Came in to return some playstation items but the 2 ladies did not feel comfortable doing the return even though I had receipts. I was then told to go to another gamestop further away from me. They then helped me make those returns within 5 minutes at the other location.

Lovely lady named Jessica helped me today but what makes this a 1 star is GameStop has once again created a scam to take small amounts of money for themselves. On my receipt was a charge for “GameStop Gives RoundUp” the cashier didn’t tell me she was going to charge me for this. To be fair when I called her out on it she offered to give me the money back, I declined. I also have no idea who GameStop is “Giving” to, there’s no advertising for it clearly posted. It was $.02 but if every custom gets charged something like this, it adds up, with shady practices like this no wonder soo many stores have closed

Excellent customer service and they actually pick up their phone to answer customer questions. Very knowledgeable about what they have in their store no guessing there, i love it.

Great store with lots of things to buy. It’s great because you can buy gaming controllers for so much cheaper there than Amazon or any other store. I highly recommend this place.

They replaced the controllers from my switch with warranty even though I didnt have my receipt anymore!!! And then cashier was super kind and knowledgable!!!! Thank you for being awesome!!!

Wow Mike the employee on 9-24-2020 is the worst customer service Ive seen in a long time. Lost a a few hundred bucks today and a power account that that the game stop down the street was happy to take in rolling meadows.

On the smaller side, but packed with all kinds of Collectibles and items. The store leader there is fantastic, friendly, and accommodating.

Now that the Palatine location is closed (😥) this is the closest Game Stop to me. Took my teenage son here for the first time today and the employees were really nice and super helpful! I find that kind of service to be pretty standard with Game Stop stores. It can sometimes be annoying how in-your-face this chains employees are with the product, service, and industry info they try and throw at you but the guys at this location were knowledgeable salesman who werent the slightest bit pushy or overbearing. Well definitely be back there again real soon. It sucks that my old store closed but Im wicked happy with the quality of my new store so far! Would recommend!

The line took along time and yet didnt have the game i wanted

This is my favorite game stop.I am by no means a gamer. I had stopped in to find a gift for someone. And found out they had released a special edition console and game pre order for a game I adored years ago. Once I got talking to the service rep he informed me of the limited stock and helped me understand their pre order program, where I felt comfortable buying the unit.There was no pressure of a sale or add on items which was very welcomed. He explained each item and their benefit to me in an adult manner, and for that reason alone I did buy a few extra items to accompany my new investment.I hope to stop in more often and get informed as more things develop.

One of the better GameStops. The staff isnt as pushy at all they let you know theyre there to help but unlike most other GameStops they let you be when you dont want the help. Highly recommended!

Great service. Accidentally took the display for the bundle of Mario Party on the switch lol. They were VERY apologetic. But they helped a lot when replacing everything and recommended me different games.

TAKE THE DRIVE ANOTHER LOCATION. DONT GO HERE.These people dont know anything!!Standing in a long line with the manager putting stickers on things. And the cashier asked for him to help because the line is getting longer. You would think as a manager he would help. But he just continue to do what he was doing. Horrible customer service. This is by far THE best Game Stop I have ever been to. Ive earned a respectable amount of cash selling my old handheld games, got a lot of outstanding deals in buying used Wii equipment and games to revive my own Wii, and they went out of their way to help me with a System Transfer of my Nintendo Switch. Always outgoing, always informative, and always makes store visits an exceptionally pleasant experience.

Really disappointed in them. Went there on a whim looking around found a used game and checked out. When given the game said that since they have over stock was given a new wrapped game instead and Im thinking cool new game for used price nope. Come to found out used game is $10 more so unless I missed something just paid used price on a new game and they made $10 more.

I don’t know what GameStop this is because I went to a lot of them but I’m sure it is good

Just called and spoke with Sasha I believe, I couldnt believe how rude the person was. I had a few questions about the Nintendo Switch and this person acted like I was bothering him / her and acted like they couldnt wait to hang up the phone. I used to come to this GameStop weekly with my son and spend a few hundred dollars, now I will not be visiting this store ever again. Let me make a kind reminder to the millennials out there, you chose this job and part of the job is customer service. If you cant provide even kind of decent service, then you should probably find another job or your attitude will continue to lose your company $$$. Just sayin.

Worst GameStop ever!!!I called several GameStops Looking for a headphone adapter for Xbox One. After several calls I was told by one of the staffs at this location over the phone that they had the adapter and that they had more in stock. I told him I would be stopping by in a few minutes. When I arrived there was a huge line so I decided to ask another staff about the adapter and he responded saying that they did had the adapter and that they had more in the back he advice me to get in line and once I get to the front they would take care of me. I was in line for 30 minutes and as I got to the front another staff member by the name of ( Matt ) asked me how could he assist me? I responded by saying that I was there for a headphone adapter for a Xbox one. He pause for a second and said we dont have any. I replied by saying that I had called the store and spoken to a staff and he said that they did have some in the store. I also said that, as I arrived I had spoken to another staff before getting in line and that they did had the adapter but I needed to get in line. hes response was that he was sorry that he didnt know who I had spoken to. He didnt even bother to check in the back for any over stock or back stock. I also saw him answering the phone as I was in line several times.THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST SERVICE OF GAME STOP. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE SHOULD WASTE THEIR TIME AND STOP IN FOR BAD SERVICE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
