I had the best bicycle buying experience ever from this shop. Kevin and the crew there went above and beyond to accommodate all my questions and requests as I tried to find the best way to trade in my bike and get a new bike at a great cost. Long story short I could not be happier with the end result, love my bike, love the support I get from this shop, and even weeks after purchase I still email them with questions to which they are happy to get back to me on. BEST SHOP EVER!

Great staff. Kevin is amazingly helpful and friendly. While I was in there one time, a guy came in just asking about trails. He didn’t want to buy anything, just wanted to talk about trails. One of the staff spent like ten minutes talking to this guy about local routes. Pretty cool that they put that kind of time into helping someone who had no intention of buying anything.

Outstanding service and really terrific price period did the work on the spot and did extras at no cost. Had a chain replacement done, and it was done in 20 minutes. Really great staff, almost made me want to buy a new bike! I must say they really have great looking bikes at this store, and along with courteous staff can’t go wrong. And I even found out the trek has a racing team! Who knew!

The entire Team at the shop ROCKS !!! Project One Madone SLR-9 arrived long before I expected ....Last year they exceeded my expectations with the Project One Emonde SLR-9...and now this rocket !!! They kept me posted on progress throughout the process... this is a fantastic bike by any measure and worth the wait ! Light years ahead of my old 2017 Project One Madone....now I gotta figure out which Gravel Bike to order from em :)

These guys are awesome! Alex, Jeff, John, Michael and the rest actually care about both you and your bike. They helped me find the right suspension fork for my bike. This was a new request for this particular bike and they went the extra mile to make it happen. Installed it (at a fair price) while we enjoyed the mall across the street. Since we loved our past experience at Arlington Trek, we came back the next week to purchase more accessories for our bikes. Mo was there and helped us picked the right accessories after many questions we had. Arlington Trek is further away than our local Trek store, but we enjoy the store and the contagious smile and professional service we received at Arlington Trek, that for us, it will be the only TREK store we will use while we live in the DMV area.

Great customer service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Took my FX4 in for a tune up and flat tire and my daughters 20 inch Trek bike in for some adjustments. Both bikes were ready by the end of the day and at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend.

This store has the best customer service around. The staff takes the time to understand what you need and deliver it in the best possible way. This is true for big purchases and small. For example, I stopped in to find some replacement straps for my Thule bike rack. They called around to several nearby shops for me and ultimately found them, which enabled me to get on the road with my bikes. Great people.

The folks here were incredibly helpful! I had a front axle missing on my bike (Trek FX2) as well as a tiny part that held it in. They were able to order the axle for me and somehow found the other tiny part in store. They also replaced my peddles due to a recall I didnt even know about. They put everything together, cleaned up my bike a little, and charged me hardly anything. These guys are top notch, will definitely be returning for any other bike maintenance or issues.

Alex and his service team are the best! I took my bike to Clarendon Trek after a disappointing experience at another Trek service shop. Alex looked at my bike on the spot, quickly concluded that there were significant issues with the front shifters operation, and his team fixed everything in a half-hour. My bike now operates better than it ever has! Trek Clarendon will get all my future business.

World-class service! I took my Trek 9.9 Speed Concept into Trek Clarendon for a major service overhaul. It has traveled all over the world with me in the past years as I am an avid triathlete. It needed some love after many miles of training and racing in all sorts of terrain & weather. An awesome bike, but quite involved with Di2 groupset, etc. John and his service team were top-notch in reviewing with me their recommendations of what had to be done. They then did the work in a meticulous and timely matter to make the bike look and feel brand new. Thus, resounding 5-stars and I highly recommend them.

Great shop. Friendly staff. Excellent service. Accessories are a little pricey but convenient if you need something quick. They weren’t busy and were able to install a new tube and tire for me in less than 30 minutes.

I ordered my bike over the phone and in one day, it was built before I arrived to the store and with exactly with the accessories I asked for. The team was friendly, knowledgeable and I had a great experience.

It was my first time buying the bike and JONATHAN was absolutely amazing. He not only helped me find the right bike, but guided me through getting all the necessary parts. He was very knowledgable and recommended what was right for me. A week later, I brought my wife to the store and Jonathan provided another great service! He was very kind and even load the bikes properly in my van. Cannot recommend anymore.

The staff at a Trek Bicycle Arlington Clarendon was absolutely fantastic. I brought my bike for its first annual check-up and tune-up (included in the purchase) and the service staff was knowledgable and very service oriented. The chain was starting to stretch and they recommended a new one which was great. They also installed new clips. They couldnt have been nicer when I picked it up. They also indicated that Trek had upgraded the pedals for my model and they were gonna send me the ones. Wow!Finally, I impulse-bought a new bottle holder and they offered to install it at no cost. They have my business for life!

Kevin (store manager) and Jeff (in service) were passionate and focused on helping me with my bike and gear repairs! I work in a service business, too, and thought they were awesome!

This is simply the best bike shop in the area. I have several non-trek bikes and still take them here because the service and prices are second to none. I often see Michael who works in service and he is a stand-up guy.

We bought a bike for our daughter and they were super helpful. While likely not a standard service?...When I asked about delivery they asked where I was...mentioned our address...they said they were headed that direction later. Gentleman connected me with James (a nice young man) who jumped on the phone to quickly complete the purchase. James (as well as the other gentleman...perhaps Alex?) was great and even helped pick out a few accessories to match the bike. Highly recommend great shop!

I started Cycling a little over a month ago, been to a handful of bike stores and this is by far the absolute best. Zero pressure to buy anything from anyone. They all just want to help you. Kevin has been a great help with tons of great Information as has Alex. Everyone there has outstanding customer service and they are always so welcoming and take the time to answer all of your questions no matter how simple they may be.Update June 2020- about 12 months since my first purchase from them.Well I wish I could re-rate this with 10 stars. A lot of places will be good to you when you buy something then forget about you, this is NOT one of them. No matter what I need or how many times I go in to annoy them with a questions everyone, and I mean everyone, is always so eager to help. They have helped friends of mine get bikes and their experience and comments back to me are never anything but positive. This is truly one of the best, if not the best bike store in this area. I live less than half a mile from another bike store and rather drive the 20 minutes (or ride) to come here and get what I need. Alex, Kevin, Jeff and anyone else you encounter in that store will do everything they can to help you with whatever you need. Wow! Alex and his team got me rolling in no time. I am in town visiting my sister and doing some local mtn biking. I busted my skewer on my back wheel, which sounds simple enough, but the wheel set is customized for my frame so it took some Trek genius to locate the right part, remove the rear bracket, and get it all set. I SO appreciate the time and teamwork these guys put into my bike. My sister is local and this is for sure her bike shop.

They called around and found her bike at this bike shop.I spoke to Jeff on the phone. He was very helpful and held the bike until we were able to make arrangements for pickup. I was looking at buying a high end bike. Kevin was exceptional- deep product knowledge and extremely helpful. Kevin didn’t push the most expensive bike but asked pointed questions about my riding habits, asked my goals, my current bike set up and watched me ride. I ended up getting a high end Domaine that was one size smaller and equiped it with the right options for me. He was also knowledgeable about other brands and the differences. I recently purchased a Trek CF 29er mountain bike from this store. The sales and services staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me with additional accessories and also gave me tips on tire pressure and how to care for a CF bike. I went for my first ride the next day and the bike was awesome! The bike geometry is perfect for me... and I can stand and blast through hills and easily maneuver through twists and turns. 😎

I would give the Trek Clarendon store more stars if I could. The employees are fantastic. They’re not pushy like some sales people are. They’ll give you the information you need to make your decision instead of pressuring you into something. They’re always welcoming, helpful, and so nice. The customer service is enough to keep visiting over and over. Plus they are all so knowledgeable in anything bike related. If they don’t have what you’re looking for in store, they’ll find it for you. Kevin and Alex have been extremely helpful with finding the bikes we have purchased from them. If you’re considering a bike, Trek is definitely the brand and this particular branch was more than helpful in aiding my decision and what model was great for what I was looking for. This is now my store. I got the FX 3 disc, and I luv it!!!! Just finished riding it. The only thing is, I may consider changing the saddle, but I’ll try to break it in, if it’s still to hard for my buns, then a new saddle it is. I always thought Trek was pretty wood quality biking gear, and it far supersedes my expectations.

I had just returned from Harpers Ferry by bicycle. My phone was dead and I was lost, looking for a friends house without an address. I stopped in here, to take a breather, collect myself, and ask to charge my phone. I didnt buy anything but the whole staff was really nice and helpful. Got me sorted out and sent me on my way. Very appreciative.

Kevin was fantastic. When the phones were too busy, he answered my emails super quick and was super helpful. I had a hard time finding a bike in NY, but when I was in Arlington visiting, I finally found one the day before I was supposed to leave. He had it assembled and ready to go less than 24 hours after I first emailed him. Everyone in the shop was helpful and friendly.

Shimano Factory recommended me Alex in Trek/Clarendon. Shimanolistened to my story of the dealer I bought the Fuji Transverse from (Silver Cycles), Linda the manager said, the battery wasn’t under warranty and asked me to pay 800.00 for a new battery for the Fuji Transverse.ALEX at Trek/ Clarendon to the rescue!! He had Shimano send the new battery in 2 days and I was on my way! Yay!

Trek Clarendon has the best service I have ever experienced. I live 45 minutes away and I drive there to get my bike repaired and get accessories. Always friendly, knowledgeable and FAST! Thanks!

In each experience at this store, the staff have made me feel right at home and at ease with asking any clarifying questions -- even if my vocabulary is somewhat lacking. Alex pays meticulous attention to detail and is a pleasure to work with. Its apparent that this is more than just a job for the specialists working here, and really a passion of theirs. Even though Im now based in Maryland, I wouldnt dream of taking my bike anywhere else!

Trek Bicycle is #1 on my list of stores not to do business with under any circumstance. My husband has purchased bikes and other biking gear from them. I made the mistake of paying for a bicylcle helmet with cash as a Christmas gift. When my husband opened the box he noticed it had obviously been used. I returned the helmet immediately. Even with a receipt they DID NOT return my money when I returned the helmet. Dealing with cash is too difficult for them. All manor of excuses were made from not enough money cash in the cash drawer to we must go through corporate for a check. The check never arrived.

Kevin and the Trek team are exceptional. I cannot thank Kevin enough for his customer service and getting me all set up with an FX 3 and all the basics for a first-timer getting into the sport. He was friendly, knowledgeable and worked with me to help work around my very cautious COVID precautions for payment/pickup of the bike. I am really thankful they were so understanding and have adjusted their business practices to make everyone feel safe. Im excited about my purchase and grateful to Kevin and Trek Clarendon for providing such an. excellent buying experience.

Went into the shop to ask about a possible issue with the structural integrity of my carbon fiber bike. A sketchy shop in Lyons Park told me that there was a huge issue. The guys at the Trek shop reassured me that it was literally just chipping paint and told me to cover it with nail polish. They also changed out my pedals, lubed up my chain and cleaned my bike at no charge. Super nice, knowledgeable and helpful and I will definitely be back!

Moved to Virginia a few months ago and recently purchased a bike at this store. I visited a few bike stores in Northern Virginia and felt like they were pushing certain brands and styles because I am a 50+ woman. When I visited this store I told the salesperson (Mo) what I was interested in and he was polite, helpful and respectful. He helped me with the fitting, I bought the bike, they put it together in an hour or so and I was on my way. Swift and professional service. Im the sort of person that does some research beforehand and am always willing to hear an experts opinion but only when its unbiased, informative and helpful. Highly recommend this store.

The service and sales team (Kevin, Alex and Michael) are very helpful and knowledgeable. My fiancé is a repeat customer, and their hospitality, professionalism, creativity (especially in a limited market), and can-do attitude converted me from going to another bike shop to this one!My fiancé’s bike frame was totaled and the loyalty program helped him upgrade and purchase a beautiful (and fast) new bike, and they helped me with an unusual request - to install the parts from my fiancé’s Domane SL5 onto my Cannondale Synapse (the bike I’d purchased from that different bike shop) which had a Sora group set that was not durable enough for how much I’m riding and that I was fixing all the time. The other bike shop had not recommended I change the group set and had service center times that were months backed up - Trek Arlington was able to help me and converted the necessary components on my bike and installed the 105 group set, his upgraded wheels (he went tubeless), and his seat; all within a week of my request, even with switching brands! His crank arms are a 172.5” and they even helped me source a new crankset; so I’m able to make the adjustment and ride with 170” arms!The quality service and equipment I’ve received from the Trek bike stores I’ve visited has created a value that can’t be understated. While my augmented ride is doing well now - I can’t wait to purchase my next bike at the Trek Store and would highly recommend if you need a new bike!

Great customer service! All the employees are very friendly and helpful when I purchased my bike. Had a minor issue with the bike and Alex took care of it right away. I’ve been to a few Trek locations and I highly recommend going to this one.

My husband and I decided on bikes as our holiday gifts to each other. We spin for fitness but neither of us have been on a real bike since we were teens. We had bikes on hold at another local bike shop, but stopped in here on a whim. Not knowing much about bikes, I hadnt shopped here sooner because I had the (wrong) impression that treks Clarendon would be expensive, overrun around covid holiday time, & stuck up or stodgy about us being novice riders. I’m so happy to say I was so wrong! Treks Clarendon was so welcoming, nice, & patient. We worked with Jeff, Alex, & Eric and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We stopped in to see one specific model but when it wasn’t quite right they asked a lot of insightful questions about how we envision using our bikes, our budget, & personal preferences. We ended up finding a model I loved & they helped us to try & get it transferred from another treks location. They even suggested some simple low cost mods to make the bike an even better ergonomic fit that we ended going back to the shop to have done by their team.we felt like they really cared about making a good match for me & my bike needs & didnt dismiss us as new bike shoppers or pigeon-hole (or dismiss or force) us into a style/model/brand like another shop (starting with a C) up the road did.We never felt sold or pressured & they educated us on the spectrum of bikes that met our needs in the trek sphere & how it compares to other bikes before we made the purchase. We were so thrilled with our experience at Treks & would refer any first time bike shopper there. We’re excited to have the shop’s expertise behind us for our future needs!

Friendly staff and they work quickly to help their customers. I ran over a safety pin on Wilson blvd and popped my inner tube. Found out I grabbed the wrong spare at home, so I had to buy another one. I only had a $20 bill with me unfortunately, but they helped me find the right size tube and changed it for me. Thanks to John in the service department!

The staff here is fantastic. I bought my bike from here, and they were more than accommodating. I went back to buy an accessory and had issues installing it. I called them up, not only did they help me, they pretty much showed up at my doorstep and installed the accessory. This entire team is great, very friendly and always happy to help when you walk into the store.

Highly recommend Trek bike shop in Clarendon. I purchased my first road bike in decades from them and the process was extremely educational and smooth. James and Alex are very knowledgable staff and were very patient and understanding to my needs. If you negotiate, maybe youll be able to add complimentary items on the house and a reasonable discount!

It terms of local bike retailers if for nothing else this location presented five star quality service. While working on deciding which bike I wanted to purchase their sales associate took the time to go through the differences between to models of bikes, the pricing, and answered any additional questions. On top of that when it came to more mechanical questions on what they could do for me the service shop came out as well to answer questions and offer solutions they could do. In the end, they made the decision easy to purchase the bike from them, and plan on coming back to this location for all my service needs as well.

Incredible customer service. If you purchase a bike here during COVID you probably will not get a fitting, but you can reasonably do this using YouTube videos and basic tools. BUT the post-purchase service has been extraordinary. Once you drop the bike off, they are very quick and will either repair/tweak what is needed while you are at the store or have it ready the next morning. Plus, they honor the 4-week free adjustment period generously.Additionally, they are a Trek clearance center so there are bicycle deals and sales at this store that you literally cannot get online. Just give them a call and describe what you are looking for and/or your use case.

The tech who inprocessed my bike was knowledgeable, quickly took some measurements to identify components that would need to be changed during the service, got my concurrence on brands, etc. He then gave an estimate that was right on and returned the bike three days early. All was as promised and I cant wait to get out on the trail.

Just wanted to let the Trek Clarendon team know how much I appreciate, once again, the great service. My service request was super well organized - especially in this time of social distancing - super efficient in getting me in and out the door, and super accurate in diagnosing my problem: a worn chain which was grinding ever so slightly and annoying the hell out of me. 10 minutes later, after dropping in without an appointment, I’m out the door and riding with a perfectly quiet drivetrain. It’s awesome to have you guys as our neighborhood bike shop!

Great service and very well organized in our pandemic environment. Two visits for minor adjustments and Alex, the manager, refused to give me an invoice or take a tip. They have a true passion for biking and it shows in their attention to the customer.

Ive never written a review before but felt compelled to share my experience. Ive been in the DC area for about 8 years and have been in search for a shop to call home. I purchased my bike at another local shop and had a pretty lousy experience; particularly communication. I decided to give Trek Bicycle a chance and brought my front wheel in for damage covered under Treks warranty program. Trek Bicycle provided dynamite service. My warranty was proceed very quickly and the shop called me throughout the entire process to provide status updates without me having to poke. Special shout out to Michael and Alex who are both knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be shopping at Trek Bicycle again and I highly recommend this bike shop.

Staff was really helpful despite my being relatively new to road biking. I’ve spent two years in spin classes and was longing to get out and see the world. Chose the Domane AL 3 2019 bike and really love it. A confidence building ride. Super lightweight. Staff (Jeff) told me exactly what I needed but didn’t try to load me up with too many accessories or unneeded gear. When I picked up, the two gentlemen I worked with were very kind and very helpful. I felt well taken care of. I’d recommend this shop and Trek as a brand to everyone.

I’m new to biking and was looking to find something that fit my lifestyle and price range. With all the craziness of COVID, they were able to find me exactly what I wanted and treated me like a person and not just another sale. Answered every question that I had and spent the time going over over everything with me when the bike came in. Alex and his staff found what was affordable to me and not once tried overselling me on something. Even offered a military discount on top of it, which was not expected, but much appreciated. This is a top notch bike shop and they take care of their customers. Probably the best customer service I’ve had in the area. Will definitely come back again. Hats off to Alex and his team.

Alex worked patiently with me over the phone and provided expert advice on which options made the most sense for my children and the trails we plan to ride on. He let us pay over the phone and set aside our bikes to expedite the pick up experience for my husband. Highly recommend!

The employees were great from ordering my bike to building and delivery. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. And the bike is great as well!

The store personnel were extremely friendly and patient. They helped me to select the item I was interested in and took time to advice on another item I was interested which wasn’t in their stock.

I needed an urgent mechanical adjustment on my Powerfly7 as I was passing through town. The store allowed me to bring in the bike (with appropriate COVID precautions) for the mechanic to look at while I waited. The mechanic (Mark) was outstanding and did the required work quickly and at a fair price. This service was critical because I was unlikely to find another Trek outlet along my upcoming monthlong journey. I was very impressed with their customer service, professionalism, and expertise.

I paid for a bike they told me I could pick up 3 weeks later. After 4 weeks with no update from them, I called twice and received the runaround about how the bike was mysteriously no longer available for me but they were trying to find me another bike. After another week waiting, I asked them to return my money which they did; but, they didn’t apologize for the bad customer service. I waited a month for a bike Id paid for but never got. They wasted my time and were unapologetic about it when I couldve bought a bike elsewhere during the weeks Id waited (had I had that money available).When I asked the manager who sold me the bike why he wasn’t updating me WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD he told me about all the customers he has and how he can’t update me about every change regarding my order. I didn’t need an update for every change, I needed an update on the two big changes he told me he would update me on: (1) confirmation the bike allocation was successful and that the bike will be sent to their store; (2) confirmation of when I could pick up the bike from the store.That was a shortened version of how terrible the customer service was.

I was looking for a Dual Sport 3. They told me they had one left but they had to build it. They were able to build it and delivered it the same day. Great staff!
