This is one well ran office. Barely got through with paperwork and was called back to start the exam. Then waited maybe five minutes longer and was called back for my visit with the optometrist. This optometrist knows what he is doing. Very quick and complete exam was performed. I dont know how he does it. No sooner had we stepped out he was calling for another patient. He really needs another optometrist to help. Great office with great staff.

This was my first visit. I arrived 15 minutes early so that I could get all of the paperwork out of the way. Only one page, that was refreshing. When I had no sooner finished my paperwork a very polite young lady called my name and off we went… During my visit I met several people everyone was outstanding! Its so refreshing to experience excellence in today’s world.Would I recommend this place? Hell I can’t wait to go back!!! Well Done Y’all.

I enjoy seeing Doctor Twamley! His staff is forever changing but they have always been so nice! I may have to wait but I walk out with trial contacts and quote on my new contacts. I can call and order and they will send them in the mail. I never have problems getting receipts needed for FSA spending!

Very nice, friendly, efficient practice. Dr Twamley takes time to really explain issues. Staff speaks at least three languages and they have a nice selection of frames at competitive prices.

Very friendly and understanding staff! I mistakenly chose the wrong appointment date, and they still squeezed me in so I wouldn’t have to reschedule. They were able to get me in and out in less than an hour. They also had a really good selection on different frames at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this location!!!!

Dr. Jordan is so sweet and smart. She was easy to talk to and seemed to really listen to my concerns. The office staff is extremely nice and the facility is following mask protocol, social distancing, and disinfecting all equipment and surfaces often. That is a big reason I will recommend them to others.

Extremely dissatisfied. I have used this business several years. No problem with the technicians or doctor. The problem is with the lab service. I bought glasses two years ago and was told I could have the lenses replaced in two years in October 2021. for free.They disputed the date until I produced the card that said October 1. 2021 which happened to be a Sunday They still refused to honor our agreement, laying it off on the lab. The manager was extremely rude and said she did not want my business. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. They are liars and cheats. They will not honor their agreement. I’ve never been treated at a business as poorly and unprofessional as Vison Expo! You have been warned avoid them like the Plauge!!!

Came into this facility because my little sister broke her glasses, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by Carmen, she was a great, she helped us find the right frame, also had us in and out in 10 minutes very fast and reliable! I recommend this place! 10/10

Avoid getting your glasses here for the time being. There are literally no workers to make your glasses and they have no idea when they will get any!! Covid-19 is the excuse.The Doctor is having to make each one by hand?? And they are not sure when he will be in to make them. Is what I was told.Ordered my glasses on the 7th of September. Still waiting. Will update the review when I get them.Update: 21 days and still waiting for over $600 worth of glasses.

Used to be great service, easy place to take the kids in and me and hubby and get our yearly exams and glasses. Took a little while to get them back but not a huge issue. However, this year when I called I was told I cant take the family on the same day and I have to make separate trips and schedule 2 separate days. I am not talking a family of 8 or 10 or 15... Just 4 people. Same way weve done it for years. I am not overjoyed at the new policy and having to take more time out of an already hectic work and life schedule to make separate appointments for everyone. Also, didnt help that I had to call 3x because I kept being left on hold. Its disappointing to see the service has gone down so much in the last year. I gave 2 stars instead of one simply because from prior experience the doctors themselves were pretty great.

This was our first time. We had an appt.. came in and got seen right away. No waiting, everyone was very nice and professional. The office and equipment were clean and got cleaned right after being used. I am very impressed overall. Everything was done and completed in under an hour!! With Insurance, eye exam was great: picking out frames, & lens are cover under our plan. However, if you choose to bring your own frames, them you can not use your insurance to cover your lens, you will paid out of pocket with a 20% discount. Not happy with them, no next time.

I have to say I am very upset. Because I have an eye insurance that is not normally taken by many, I always ask before making an appointment “do you take my insurance?” They told me they did. I waited a week went to my appointment today and they told me that they do not take my insurance. I lost time from work! I have to go out of town in a week and I have to go without seeing properly!!! Next time it will be very helpful if they Check and or doble check if they take your insurance!!! I’m so upset!

My bi-annual trip to Vision Expo always seems like a visit to see family! Everyone there is so nice and Dr. Twamley has taken good care of my eyesight for several years! Plan to continue with his care indefinitely!!

Stay away from this place. The first pair of eyeglasses broke within 2 weeks I paid the difference for a new frame and then they tried to charge me for lenses color I didnt order, lenses was already paid for. The second glasses broke and they wouldnt warranty them. They also tried to send a balance a year later on my wife and she sent then a copy of her paid receipt. They are very unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend purchasing eyeglasses there. I did not see a eye Dr there. But their Eyewear department is horrible. Go to Vision Source

Hi, my name is Etta Ashley. This was my 1st visit to Vision Expo and it was very good. The young ladies that checked me for the eye exam were courteous and friendly. Dr. Pham’s interpersonal skills were excellent! She was friendly and explained everything about my vision. I would be glad to go back and will refer my family and friends to this center.

This is a clinic to model all others after! Great people, great service, caring, friendly, warm and welcoming. The only thing that would make it better is ......l cant think of anything.

Go here for the eye exams and get your glasses somewhere else. The doctors here are great!Im having trouble with a custom order for glasses. I went in on 2/10 and still dont have glasses. I was told 10-14 business days and were almost at a month now. Theres no way this is a custom order either. Its single vision lenses and the frames are Ray-Ban Clubmasters. The lenses are done in-house and these frames are mass produced. Even if it is a custom order, it shouldnt take that long. GM is making cars in less than a month.I went ahead and ordered another pair from Warby Parker, since I didnt have these and it only took 5 days to get them. Someone dropped the ball on this one.

My name is Jessalyn Carabajal, everyone was extremely nice UNTIL I started picking out my glasses and I was attended by a girl with light brown blondish hair whom was extremely rude and giving me attitude for no reason! I did absolutely nothing to her to be acting that way towards me. I didn’t even wanna pick out any glasses anymore so I asked for my prescription and left.

Unpleasant experience. The front desk and staff are awesome very helpful and nice easy to talk to, but Dr.Twamley was very impatient with my visit, didn’t feel welcomed and I felt uncomfortable with the camera in the exam room. I have never seen an exam room with a camera in it. I did notice a change in energy with Dr.Twamley on certain people of color. Didn’t like that AT ALL! I was rushed in and out no acknowledgement of my questions and also when I spoke I was being ignored. But while I was entering for my visit the lady before me was treated so nice and he was so polite like I had a whole different dr with no manners at all. This is my first and last time coming here and I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS but this was unprofessional for a dr. I was hesitant to leave a review but going to a different eye dr and seeing how respectful and very clear on questions I had she made me feel comfortable I just had to. Also the new clinic I go to DOES NOT HAVE CAMERAS IN THE EXAM ROOM. That was creepy.....

Good frame selection and as someone who has glasses from several places, I went back to Vision Expo because I realized I preferred my glasses from them. Dr was friendly and I was in and out pretty quick while still feeling like I got a complete exam and frame fitting.

They customer service was excellent. I took forever picking out glasses and they were very patient even though it was close to closing. Dr. Twanley was Awesome!!! I would highly recommend!!!

The Doctor is great but the nurses needs to work more better how to deal with the kids. Needs more experience how to make kids comply not to be harsh on kids.

My children and I have been coming here since 2015. Used to be a great location. Not so much anymore. COVID-19 procedures are a joke. Theyll lock you out, but refuse to let you know of their procedures before appt time. This Hispanic heavy set chick at the front desk has an attitude problem, poor customer service skills and will argue with one customer face to face while supposed to be helping someone on the phone. The Hispanic heavy set chick is a part of the main reason I wont be back. Ive never been disrespected or treated so poorly at this facility before. I dont have to spend my money here EVER AGAIN! I wont bring my business back to them. Over priced and unappreciated is not my type of business.

Dr Twamley is the BEST there is and entertaining too, I just love going to see him, his staff is extremely friendly, nice and courteous, I’ve been going to him for years and when I retired and stopped using BCBS I was worried, then I remembered he Said just stay with the red, white and blue and you cannot go wrong, Medicare was so complicated, that I remembered what he had said to help me make my decisions a whole lot easier, so yes he will be taking care of these pair is eyes forever...❤️

Buyer beware!!!If you or your child has special instructions on your prescription for glasses DO NOT go to Vision Expo: Christian Twamley OD & Phan Paulina OD by the Home Depot in Arlington.This in the second time we have ordered glasses for Gabriel through them & have had issues with them following his doctors instructions. The first time they corrected their mistake at no charge. This time even though I made it VERY clear that the bifocal needs to bisect his pupil & must go across the entire bottom part of the lenses. 3 weeks after placing the order they came in with teeny tiny bifocal areas that don’t bisect his pupil. They are now stating that in order to follow his doctors order we have to pay for different lenses & that it will be an additional $50.I am one extremely irritated momma at the moment. As soon as I can get this mess sorted out we will stop doing business with them.

Was able to walk in without an appointment and get seen in less than an hour. Staff was courteous and efficient.

I went terrible because the contacts that they gave me while they were getting mine caused me irritation and burning in my eye and I made an appointment to ask why and a Vietnamese or Japanese Chinese doctor I do not know from where she was so rude and in a bad mood when treating me that he left and said that he did not understand me because I was there and then the doctor arrived anyway a little frustrated too they did not give me a satisfactory answer but the point here is the poor attention of the female doctor and I told the receptionist that The doctor not was taking care of myself for free that I was paying because of her bad mood, doctor and I think if you dont have a good answer at least be nice

I went today with my daughter.... all the nurses their whos service me wasn’t Professional friendly at all...it wasn’t long after the doctor walk in great us as gas station employee... didn’t talk much with me about my child condition... so i should asking him bc this my first child with Vision weakness.. so he would answer with ridicule Laugh... then just Basically walked out the room (the door was open) he didn’t tell us we were done...,really!!!

My daughter has Medicaid and I still had to pay $95 which I don’t have wow but the service has always been great

Great experience with Vision Expo on Monday, 12/23; my progressive glasses broke mid-last week. Vision Expo was able to turn around 3 pair of single vision glasses (distance, computer and readers) at a very reasonable price in less than 6 hours. They have their own in-house lab; Stephanie was awesome in helping me. Her customer service was terrific. I would definitely recommend Vision Expo for your eyewear needs..

Called to verify if it was OK to not go in with out a mask due to medical reasons (also a regular customer there) and they recommended a face shield which is NOT even recommended by the CDC and therefore making it the same as not wearing a mask. Mind you I just came from the public library without wearing one and they had there policy in place about mask wearing and it said it exempts people who cant wear one due to medical reasons and if wearing one imposes a mental health threat. So why not service me is the question. Currently filing a discrimination claim. Because Christian Twamley told me to go get an attorney! Horrible business ownership if you ask me. Forgot to add the lady Misty hung up in my face while trying to explain why I cant wear a mask as well. Remember we make their business and we pay for their way of living! Dont give them your business!!

Front desk staff/ eye assistant not to friendly she never smiled not once. The Eye Doctor was great. I Had to wait longer than 2week for my glasses to come back( still don’t have them) wow (reading glasses at that) I am going to find somewhere else to go next time. Wouldn’t recommend a friend at all.. two starts for doctor only.
