Bought a rainbow layered cake from this place and it was perfect!!! Cake tasted amazing and was so soft! Icing was good and so glad I chose this place. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Bought decorations and sprinkles online and did my self but really happy with the out come.

My husband is a plumber and was working to get water back up and running and shared with Cooper Street Bakery that it was our daughters first birthday and he was not going to be able to celebrate with us and with our own water shut off by the city I was not going to be able to bake her a cake as planned. Cooper Street Bakery offered to bake him a cake! The cake made the 2 hour trip home and was such a sweet surprise. The cake was not only beautiful but delicious! Thank you for being so kind!

I really wanted to share how beautiful our cake turned out, my daughter had specifications on what she wanted and Cooper Street Bakery definitely delivered. Although this has been some time ago we still stand by this bakery and continue to go here. The cookies were also delicious along with the cake.

Got cupcakes from here for my sister and nieces. The lady was on the phone when I came in so she asked for help from another lady, that lady was not friendly at all. I have ran several Banks and customer service is HUGE with me. When the 1st lady got off the phone she finished helping me and she was nice. The cupcakes were ok they are better warmed up. I only tried the red velvet.

I had my wedding cake made here and it was delicious! 3 tier and 3 different flavors. My guest were all raving about how delicious our cake was. The price there is super reasonable. Definitely do business there again!

Cooper Street bakery is so delicious, that they made my daughters wedding cake! Buuutttt…..today I bought a cookie cake for g-son’s bday party and it looked awesome! Buuutttt…..while in there picking up cake, I got a whim for peanut butter cookie! It was awful!!!!! No flavor hardly of PB, mostly a sugar cookie with a tiny pb flavor, like there’s not any real pb in dough, just flavoring! So get pb cookies elsewhere!

They did an amazing job with my wedding cake! Very affordable and other cakes just cant compare when it comes to taste. I gave them swatches of our wedding colors (sage green and dusty blue) for the icing and the colors matched exactly! I would highly recommend and Ill for sure be getting cakes from them in the future!

Cooper street provided the cakes for both of my daughters weddings, most recently this past Saturday. They have the very best prices and the most amazing cakes! Since I found this gem in 1997, my family has come back again and again for cakes. Their flavor and artistry is fantastic. From the more simple 1/4 sheet birthday cakes to the multi-tiered wedding and sweet 16 cakes, weve never been let down. I cant resist grabbing some cookies or pastries every time we head in for event cakes either!

I had a Rapunzel cake done for my 5 year old daughter. I am not from the area so I called around asking if they could make a birthday cake for my 5 year old daughter. I wanted A two-tier Rapunzel cake. They lady that I talked to said yes they could do what I asked for because they have been in business for 20 plus years. So I placed my order. My husband and I picked up before heading to my daughters birthday party. When we arrived the guy shows us the cake and we were shocked. It looked like it was done by a five year old and we couldn’t make out what the cake was suppose to be. The work was so sloppy and were not happy customers. The baker/owner I’m assuming came out and said it’s suppose to be a rustic castle all I seen was a prison cell. we were upset but had to take the cake because we didn’t have time to get another one. We arrived at my daughters party and everyone made fun of the cake because they thought it was sloppy and looked like someone threw up on it. They thought the work looked horrible. We posted pictures on our fb and not one person knew what the cake was suppose to be. To top it all off the cake tasted nasty like weeks old. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Please do not get your kids birthday cakes here. Very disappointing and just ruined the whole day. I would add a photo but the site won’t allow it

It was a beautiful looking cake and they were easy to work with and showed up on time. Very friendly people. My problem was that when I had tasted the original cake in the tasting, it was delicious and moist and amazing. But on my actual wedding day it was very dry and we had multiple people tell us so. And when you pay that much for a cake you dont want a dry cake that people dont want to eat.

They made a special cake for our wedding! We had a book and movie themed wedding. We wanted one cake instead of two. One that showed both of our personalities, not just the grooms. So we had a VCR as the bottom layer (My husband collects VHS tapes), and we had books as the center layers (because I enjoy reading) and a VHS tape as the top with our wedding hashtag in place of the movie title. One layer was chocolate, another red velvet and I believe another was a vanilla flavor. Overall, it was a big hit and the price was 1/3 of the cost anywhere else in town. Ive had 3 friends who have used this place for their wedding cakes and they always look and taste amazing. My favorite cake place by far!

I ordered a Frozen themed cake and it turned out amazing! Elsa and Olaf looked so adorable, it was the highlight of my daughters day. Not to mention the cake tasted phenomenal and so moist. Thank you guys! This wasnt my first visit and it wont be my last 😊

I called literally 2 minutes ago and asked a simple question..do you do birthday cakes? And received a snappy remark. Customer service is a huge dealbreaker for me. I told the woman have a great day and will not call this place for anything else. Maybe she is having a bad day but that is not the customers fault. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

Ordered a cake for my moms birthday, royal blue icing with a gold drip and a WHITE ( light vanilla) cake and they gave us a berry/ almond cake. Good thing no one was allergic to nuts. The icing stained our mouths for 2 days, no matter how much we scrubbed and rinsed our mouths and the icing tastes like you might as well have been eating the food coloring. Ive heard nothing but good about this place but unfortunately it wasnt the best experience.

I was wanting a wedding cake(2 layers) with raspberries between the two layers. They threw it all together & its all mine. Great bakery!

I got married on 05/04/2019 and the wedding cake they created for me was not only beautiful but was absolutely delicious! We had a three tier cake with red velvet and Italian cream and piped purple flowers. All of our guests complimented the flavor and said it’s one of the best wedding cakes they’ve had. They are very affordable and friendly!

My friends got married recently and got their cake at cooper street bakery. It was a two layer one was Italian cream the other strawberry. I decided to check the place out myself got a couple cupcakes best Ive ever had. Owner said her name was tammy very sweet and professional owner. I will be back highly recommend this bakery, it is damn good.

After going to a few bakerys in the area this one was the best. Great customer service very friendly staff!!! They did what i wanted for my Baby shower cake.. They dont do fondant which im not mad about cause my aunt did all the decorations.. But im very impressed it tasted as good as it looked!! And the price you just cant beat it. Highly recommended. :)

Had a few issues that Mrs Tammy Quickly fixed for me. She made sure I was happy and if I could give her and the team more stars I would. To be honest I wasnt happy with my cake at 1st sight and Tammy made sure I was before I left she took the time to touch up my cake and even blessed me after a lil hiccup. I wont go into details but she was Amazing and to Top if off the cake was Amazing the flavor of my top layer vanilla with almond was so decadent and delicious the homemade red velvet bottom cakes was to die for.. Have ordered cakes for several occasions from this wonderful bakery. Their prices are super reasonable compared to a lot of other bakeries in town, and yet their cakes are just as good. They dont do some of the complicated decorations that other places will do, but if youre looking for a beautiful, delicious cake for a reasonable price you cant beat Cooper Street.

I have had very mixed experiences with Cooper Street bakery.The first time I had their cake was at a family gathering where CSB provided a German chocolate cake and one of their basic 8 inch two layer white cakes with extra flower designs on the top. These cakes were both absolutely delicious and lovely. I loved the white cake so much that I looked up the bakery online to see how much the prices were so that I could get it for my own children’s birthday parties. I was very happy to see the prices were reasonable as well.Positive experience so far.Now starts the negative experiences...I go in for a white stock cake for my child’s birthday, my first visit to the store. First of all, I get to the store and see that they only take cash, so I have to leave go to an ATM and come back. They really should have that listed on their website if they’re not going to change the policy. I would’ve given myself time to get cash and come ready...There was a young boy working the counter at the time. He didn’t look at me once or interact with me even though I tried to talk to him in a friendly manner and tell him how awesome the store was. He didn’t do anything at all until I was ready to hand him $$.“Oh well, you never know what kind of day someone is having,” I thought. I took the cake home and we all enjoyed it very much. It was fresh, it tasted great, very moist and everything. Loved it.The second time I came in was a couple months later for another white stock cake for my child’s birthday party. A woman was working behind the counter who ignored me completely. It wasn’t until I had picked out a cake and was standing there waiting for someone to take my money they she finally looked up, gruffly acknowledged my presence, and asked if I was ready to check out with a huffy tone. That’s when I started to feel like my business was unwanted, but still made an effort to be friendly. I tried to make friendly conversation and then I asked a question, which she ignored. When I repeated my question, she was more irritable with me. I was not hostile at all, just curious about why they only took cash. She answered in a defensive way, as though I were attacking their choices, when in reality I was just ignorant and hoping that she could educate me. She seemed to be in a very bad mood and didn’t want to look at me either.I thought to myself “oh well, at least the cake is delicious even though I have to deal with these rude people.“ I left thinking I might not give them my business anymore, but looked forward to enjoying the cake.I took that white stock cake home for the birthday party, and it was *incredibly* disappointing. It was *clearly* a few days old, the icing was hardening, not fresh at all, and was very dry inside. It felt like a slap in the face after going to the store and being treated so rudely, to go ahead and purchase their cake which I really enjoyed in the past, and to have it be disgusting.To top it off, my other family members had been complaining about their white cakes at these birthday parties because they don’t like the almond extract taste that it has. SO when I brought home this cake that was actually bad, they were more than happy to pile on the bandwagon of never buying these cakes again. Ugh.Well, they got their wish! We have been and will only be buying Costco cakes from now on. They cost less, include more cake, and they’re always incredibly delicious. To top it off, they have great customer service and are never rude.I truly hope the people at Cooper Street bakery are feeling better now, because they were clearly not very happy people when I visited. I hope that you treat all of the other customers better than you treated me, because I know I certainly deserved to be treated better than that.

Went in there cause I was craving some chocolate chips cookies. I asked the lady if they were fresh, to which she responded yep, theyre fresh. I dont how what their definition of fresh is but the cookies were stale and could definitely have used more chocolate chips. Never going back there again, the only reason this is not a 1 star is because their brownies are decent. If you want good fresh cookies then Paris Bakery is still the top place in Arlington.

LOVE this bakery! I have been using them for our cakes since 2016 and had no issues.They always personalize them if I need them to. Will not go anywhere else for our cakes and they always have a great selection ready for last minute parties. Red Velvet is our family favorite!!

This is my bakery now!!! I’ve been in the Dallas metro area for almost 8 years and I have been looking for a “great” white cake with white real buttercream icing. After many disappointments, I googled again, read reviews and decided to google directions to this bakery. Best bakery I’ve found since I’ve been here! It’s 30 minutes from my residence, but well worth the drive. Owner was very nice and helpful. I bought the white cake with white buttercream icing. She told me I am going to love it. Well, I did! The cake is light, moist and real buttercream icing between layers! Remind me of McKenzie bakery- NOLA! I’ve been there 4 times in 1.5 months. Brownies are made with real fudge. The carrot cake is excellent as well. The cake balls are great too! I’m hooked!

I have been getting my bakery good from Cooper Street Bakery for years and it is just amazing! Every cake, cupcake, and cookie was divine and filled with delicious flavor. The owner is very busy trying to keep up with orders but always has the time to speak with me for a few minutes.

I purchased an Italian creme cake for my grandmothers birthday and it was the hit of the party! The cake had a delicious rum flavor and was incredibly moist. I certainly will use them again for any cake needs.

Called looking for something very specific for my wedding cake. This baker doesn’t offer what I was looking for, and told me that perhaps I should just try getting my WEDDING CAKE from Tom Thumb or Kroger if I’m going to be ‘difficult’.

Terrible! I bought a graduation cake for my twins. The cake tasted spoiled or like it was made with buttermilk. It clearly was not fresh...tasted like they had made it days before pick up. Everybody threw the cake in the trash after one bite. Glad I bought pies from someplace else to fill in the cake gap.

I have been using Cooper Street Bakery for years. My family has had probably every kind of cake they make several times over and we have never gotten anything buy delicious cakes each time. Their brownies are also scrumptious! Anytime I take a Cooper Street cake to a party I always have several people ask me where I got the cake because it is so wonderful. I hardly ever write reviews but when I googled their number to place an order and read some of the other reviews I felt like I needed to offer my two cents. Their red velvet cake is actually their specialty to me. I have probably ordered 20 of them over the years and every single one has tasted amazing!

Ordered my daughters 13th Birthday cake here, and they did an amazing job. Everything was perfect and my daughter was in tears, she loved the design so much. The cake tasted amazing and the staff was so friendly. Worked with us on the design, made sure her name was correct and even went above and beyond to get the perfect shade of purple. Ordered her 14th bday cake a few days ago and even though they were closing, they still sat with us and took their time to meet our needs. Were so excited to see her cake again this year! I ordered a cake for my daughters 16th birthday this past Saturday. I only used them because my sister speaks so highly of them. This is the 3rd and last time that I use them. The staff is very rude,dry and rushed me off the phone. I sent my husband to get the cake and he came home with a cake that was not covered in any way. It was just sitting on top of a box. I thought that was very unprofessional and unsanitary.

We were just going to get the cake for our 25th Wedding Vow Renewal from Sams Club 3 tierred cake selection but they wouldnt even accomodate our request to place a topper on the cake. I decided to call Cooper Street Bakery and it was one month prior to our event just to inquire even though I had hesitations because of the bad reviews but their prices were within our budget so I did, and to my surprise, they accomodated my date even though they require at least 4 months out to order a wedding cake. I was suggested to come in so we could talk about the design in details which I did. I had a photo of the cake design I wanted plus all of my personal prefences in mind. I talked to the Tammy and she gave me suggestions and ideas which I liked and agreed on. I provided the ribbons, topper, and flowers I wanted on our cake which I already bought and brought in when I came in. They even delivered the cake for a reasonable price on a Sunday when they usually dont deliver. The cake was gorgeous when I saw it and boy it was delicious! It was exactly what we talked about!
