I love this sephora so much. The ladies working here are so sweet and helpful. They are very funny too and make the experience shopping here super enjoyable. They try their hardest to help you find exactly what you are looking for and try to do it as quick as possible. I don’t know how much they’re getting paid but they deserves a raise!! Definitely recommend
This location is so convenient and fun! Whenever I have a problem the staff are super attentive and willing to help in anyway they can. Also special shout out to Alex for taking care of me as well.
Smaller sephora. I visited on a Tuesday & there was only 1 other guest in store so it seems not to be a busy location. Some items not in stock, but associates are friendly.
I want to like this location. Its not as crowded as others. The staff isnt as nice/helpful as the one in Pentagon City
So helpful! Loved my shopping experience
I go here often because it is near my house. It’s small and they are often out of good things. Lately I have noticed the staff is pushing many items (like they do in the flagship store in Paris). Every once in a while there will be salespeople here who I don’t recognize and they will try to push specific brands. This store also NEVER gives free samples. If it’s convenient and you need a basic item it’s fine but unfortunately I think a trip to a larger Sephora (like Georgetown) is worth the trip in terms of selection and the staff making honest recommendations. I am going to go home and shop online because they had nothing I came in for....Sephora is going downhill and this store is too.
Great collection very helpful staff
Not a drop of hand sanitizer in sight today during my visit at Sephora Clarendon - yet we are in the middle of a pandemic. Disappointed to write a negative review about Sephora as I’ve been a loyal customer of Sephora for a decade, and am VIP Rouge. I was not also not even offered store credit for a skincare purchase made online during lockdown 2020. Only used it once and had a severe allergic reaction to it.
Customer service was good considering the challenges of the Pandemic. I asked if they had a military discount because I bought A LOT! They said no, I went to exchange a couple of things at Georgetown and was informed that they do offer a military discount (first responders).
Customer service was good, thanks for helping me to find the perfect perfume.
Great but pricey.
Great location, great staff members, and an awesome variety of make up. i purchase many products from this store and each time i’ve had a wonderful experience. the staff are very kind and helpful and the store is clean and welcoming. i will come here again when i need more make up
Jelani earns all 5 stars, he went out of his way to help me do a super complicated return that his manager couldn’t figure out. Thanks, Jelani!!
The associates here are helpful if you need them, but otherewise leave you alone which i really appreciate. The selection of products is pretty good though there have been times when they did not have have certain products in stock.
Sylvia is AMAZING. She spent the better part of an hour teaching me how to do my foundation and contouring correctly. She helped me find the best products for me, while sticking to a budget. I was seriously so impressed.
Small Sephora so does not have all of the stocked items. Staff was helpful. Some more helpful than others.
Honestly, whenever I went for a mini facial there they said the staff is not there.I wonder even if they have one to do facials!I saw that they have many people working there but none were actually very helpful to me at least
I absolutely loved it!!! The staff were extremely helpful and they had such a wide variety of stuff. Wonderful place
I have to admit, Ive only had excellent experiences here. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable about the products, but not pushy about selling expensive items. This location is not the largest, but its open layout makes it feel very spacious. This is my favorite Sephora to visit.
The staff here is rather an unhappy bunch lol they act annoyed if you ask for help. So for a friendlier treatment I go to the Springfield location. They’re sweet there. I only come to this one if I need to pick something up real quick and leave.
Small Sephora. Parking can be dicey at this location.I went to this location because the website showed me that a few of the items I needed were in stock. Went to the area of the store where they are located. Not ONE PERSON greeted me when I came in (I passed by four on my way to the back of the store). I had a question about an item and I had to go to the counter and ask for assistance. There was even one employee who looked at me and turned her head.Cant say I would support this particular location again. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because they had two of the items I needed in stock at the store.
Poor choice of perfume. In this holiday season I actually had to ask for a gift looking bag. The other customers were served appropriately.
Not the biggest sephora in the area but well stocked and metro accessible.
Horrible service. I had $300 cash in my pocket I was more than ready to spend. TWO of the workers got annoyed when I asked a question. Pointed in the direction of what I was looking for then walked away. I had just watched both of them spend time with 2 other customers going into detail about all of the products they asked about. Apparently I didnt look like the clientele that would spend the money? Anyway, I bought nothing & went next door to Origins & happily spent my money.
TY was absolutely amazing. He was very patient, kind and thorough. He was funny and a professional def need more Sephora employees like TY. Thank you! :)
Every employee that Ive encountered at this location is very accommodating and helpful. I havent had to work very hard to track someone down when I need assistance but I havent felt like anyone is constantly hovering either, which is nice. I recommend this location. This is the location I primarily shop at too. I consistently make purchases here, whereas at other locations Ive walked in and have found employees to be dismissive and so I just made my purchase online. I do wish they carried Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona and maybe Charlotte Tilbury, Kevyn Aucoin and more Viseart too. I did hear they should be getting Huda beauty in the fall tho 🤞
I was greeted by 2 smiling faces!Went in with the sole purpose of exchanging a couple items I bought from the VIB sale (I went a little too crazy). I wanted the new Chanel perfume Gabrielle - there were none on display. So I figured I’d go ahead and return my items, and ask the cashier about the perfume. She told me they were sold out! Understandable because of the sale and the holiday season.. then she offered to check in the back. No luck.As I was walking out I stopped at the perfume section again, and she came running after me! She said they might have found one stashed in the stockroom! The same cashier that returned my items came back and found me the perfume!I always have such a great experience here - the makeup artists match my foundation PERFECTLY and the items they’ve recommended are items I still use to this day. I shop at Sephora a LOT but this location is consistently great! As I was walking out (with the biggest smile on my face) the artists towards the front greeted me a happy thanksgiving! So sweet.
Amazing place
I visited this store recently and they clearly signed me up for every single email subscription without asking. My email box is now being spammed despite having unsubscribed multiple times.
I dont like it all!! I came on a rainy and I wanted to shop, not be bothered! They all harassed me asking me if I need help, after I told them no! Sometimes you dont want customer service and they harassed me and my husband through the time we shopped! I ended up going to another Sephora.
Dont stock EVERY shade of makeup if you dont want to sell to EVERY RACE of people.I went casually to Sephora twith my wife who was looking to buy some new makeup. NEVER have I experienced such blatant discrimination. Every associate would merely say hello to us and keep walking and when customers after us would come in they would great them and offer them assistance and would walk all over the store with them.My wife was looking at one specific type of makeup for over 15 minutes and NO ONE ever approached her to offer help although there were three AVAILABLE associates that were not helping anyone as there were only 3 customers in the store including. In fact another associate went to assist a group of 2 customers that were already being helped by another associate.I asked to speak to the manager and to my surprise it was the EXACT person, named Deborah, who initially disregarded us only to extensively offer to help the next customer to come in that looked like her. When I asked her why she offered us a different level of service she said she did not. Clearly she would not admit that she ignored us only to offer thorough service to the other customers. Not only did she do that, but other associates did the same thing to us.DO NOT BUY from this store that exhibits such RACIST and DISCRIMINATORY practices!!!!!
I can attest to the previous comment about this store being rather... lets say selective in whom they want provide service to. I waited for over 20 minutes making eye contact with several different reps anxiously signaling for help only to be actively ignored, and have reps walk away to help other customers walking in (white females) whom got immediate service from multiple reps.Im use to being ignored at most Sephoras, but this place was pretty blatant about not wanting me as a customer.
Watch the associates at this store. I went in on 12/20 to purchase a few gifts for work colleagues, provided the cashier my email address to associate my points with my account, and she lied to my face about being in my account. I only found this out when I received an email today (12/21) from Sephora and noticed my VIB points hadnt been updated. Luckily I retained the receipt, and I saw that she had a name similar to mine and a Beauty Insider account (Im VIB) that she associated my points with. I called Corporate, and they couldnt transfer my YTD spend from this fools mistake to my account! They were nice enough to update my points, but now I have to call them again if I spend the requisite money to upgrade to VIB Rouge in the next 10 days to have them manually upgrade my account. This was a decent fix, but once again, the burden is put on me to stay on top of Sephora to ensure the error is corrected.I then called the store directly and spoke with the manager, who attempted to cover for the employee and say my email address was very similar to that of the one she applied my points and spend to, which is fine, but just proves my point that the girl was too lazy to even confirm that she was in the right account! Please note that both Corporate and the manager at this store were able to pull up my account with zero difficulty on the first try, which really shows this particular cashier really just didnt want to put forth the effort to ensure the accuracy of the point application. The manager then said she was going to put together some package for me to compensate me for my time, which is fine, but it need not require me to pick it up because I definitely dont have the time for that today nor do I plan on setting foot in this store ever againKeep your receipts and double-check the work of these employees if you choose to visit this store. The convenience factor has vanished for me at this point, Ill just visit the Pentagon City location or order online exclusively moving forward.
Suuuuper rude customer service. Incredibly condescending.
This is a different kind of sephora store, where sales reps are relatively more free.. And hence want to desperately make a sale. Go in you need some personal attention, they know stuff but dont go if you dont really know what you need else you will pushed alot
Stay out of this nuthouse if you can. Always crazy busy.
Great inventory, lacking in customer service
Store was very nice
They lack items, suggest you order on siteToo bad
They are crazy, and their prices are terrible in December. Currently, the daughters of America do not miss you
