Amazing donuts with very kind employees! Sometimes it’s a one-person show, so you need to be patient and it’s always worth the wait. The creme brûlée varieties are my favorite!
The idea that a donut shop is not open before the average person is expected to be in their office is unacceptable. I like your product and accept your high price. But you deserve to fail if you cant provide a breakfast product during the time breakfast is traditionally served. I understand that the pandemic has been hard but it would be better for you to be closed four days a week then not having service between 7am 9am.
Twice now I’ve made a preemptive donut delivery order the night before using Uber eats. So twice now I’ve woken up to them canceling my order due to being busy even though I presume my order was in before they even unlocked the doors. I don’t understand how they can’t just put the preorder donuts in a box before people even start ordering outside. I attribute this to being lazy and unprofessional. I’ve been trying to get one of these donuts for weeks now and with the unprofessional service I now never will and will instead tell everyone what a lousy job this place does. They’re donuts not entrees from a Michelin star restaurant. You guys can handle a few extra orders and if you can’t you should just give up.
Absolutely delicious donuts priced very reasonably for the area! My favorite flavors are the seasonal everything but the bagel (or something like that - SO GOOD) and the classic brown butter. Weve tried many and theyve all been so good. Staff is so friendly and we come here often! Highly recommend!
This place is hard to find. Parking can suck. Neither of those are a knock as its not really their fault. The issue is this is like an outlet so the donuts are not made on site. And while good you can tell they have been sitting. Go early and youll be better off.
Stopped by this evening for the first time. I really liked the vibe of their shop. They were sold out of my first choice for their February selection of doughnuts: creme brûlée. I went for my second choice, the baklava. The flavor was good, but I’m giving 4 stars because the doughnut was underdone. I’d give them another try because I do think they’ve got some fun and interesting flavor ideas here.
Usually like the DC location, but this one at Ballston is horrible. Doughnuts are old. Save your money. Go anywhere else!
Its not always just the products served that can make or break a business but also the customer service. The nutella doughnut is to die for! Caralyn (sorry if I misspelled) went above and beyond today, you can tell shes such a genuine soul and her personality alone is enough to pull you back. Thanks again for making my day and lifting me up and satisfying my sweet tooth. Youre a true asset to this shop and anywhere your life path may take you. Bless you, youre a beautiful soul.
Love District Doughnut so much! Each location has friendly and helpful staff, Ballston especially! My husband and I are such a fan that we swapped a wedding cake for a ton of doughnuts from DD. Can’t recommend them enough!
I ordered only one piece and it tasted decent compared to other donuts 🍩, but I really couldn’t stomach the high price tag. Way overpriced at nearly $5 a piece!!! Not sure if I can recommend due to the high price.
I love District Doughnuts and I’m happy there’s a new location. They have so many fun seasonal flavors!
Excellent donuts, coffee and tea. Very fast and friendly service.
Good doughnuts but not open until 10am on the weekends...
