Never had do its that were cooked and made (toppings etc) right in front of you. These donuts were so good we ate em right there and came back for more. The staff was super nice! Excellent!

Not a great experience. Within 15 minutes all the toppings melted off the donuts and cooled to the box. It was not possible to remove a donut from the box without using a spatula or shredding them to pieces with your hand. It was a big mess and a terrible experience. I had duck donuts a few years ago in Maryland and I remember them being the best donuts ever. How can you go from the best to the worst? Gas station donuts are 1000x better. Duck Donuts are synonymous with baking soda after taste. Its an acquired taste. Expect to pay $38 for 2 dozen duck donuts. Alternatively, you can get a package of little debbies for a dollar and dip them in the baking soda in the back of your fridge, its pretty much the same thing.

Donuts are good when they are fresh. The flavors are common. Service is good. But their coffee is below average.

We first visited duck donuts at the outer banks about 8 yrs ago. When we heard that they were in Northern Virginia we had to come again! They did not disappoint. The donuts are unique in that they are more cake like and custard like than a traditional donut. They are made fresh to order which means they are nice and warm. They have a taste similar to a funnel cake. I especially liked the cinnamon and sugar one. Highly recommend these!

I would give no stars. They are rude unwilling to take orders eventhough they have a line will completely ignore customers. When asked if they are taking orders sayed they where busy and there where only 3 of them all who were working on making donuts but not helping customers. They just kept bring out toppings. It is a Saturday morning you know you will be busy so maybe you should plan better.

We love this place. Duck Donuts is s hidden gem in Arlington. These are one of the best donuts I’ve had. There is no metro that goes to this location, so you have to drive but the donuts are worth it. The donuts are big and delicious. There are so many options to choose from.

I am visiting from out of state and was told I must go to duck donuts. I was specifically looking for Bavarian cream or cream filled donuts but that is not on their menu. Basically it’s the same donut with 1 million different types of icing which don’t taste too much different from the next. I got a cherry cheesecake doughnut and I couldn’t taste anything cheesecake about it. I actually wish I would’ve gotten the bacon topped one which is the only thing that looks Like it might taste different. But don’t expect anything crazy like cream filled donuts or kolache’s. Or any other breakfast items on the menu. It must be an East Coast thing. Donuts are hot and fresh though

I love their donuts. I stopped eating Krispy Kreme when I found this place. There needs to be a Duck Donuts location in DC or the borderline of MD & DC. Having to go so far to get them is a hassle but theyre worth it.The only complaint I have is that the servers that were working today didnt allow the donuts to cool enough before putting them in the box. By the time I arrived back home in DC, the donuts were stuck to the bottom of the box. I had to scoop it out with a spatula.

This is probably the fastest review Ive ever done. And thats because I just ordered my donuts 30 min ago, got home, and all but one are gone 😂. Wow. They are SO good. And were still warm when we got home. The staff was great too. She was very patient with me while I made up my mind about each individual donut lol I was overwhelmed! I will definitely be back!

Excellent variety and extremely fresh. Service was quick and they were helpful and informative. For a first timer the ordering was different and slightly confusing, but easy to figure out with their assistance. Everything is made warm and fresh though right in front of you. Highly recommended. May take more time than you would want so if in a rush probably avoid, but would leave 15 minutes early just to try.

An indulgent spot. Consistent good. Drippy warm donuts for indulgent mornings. I have stood in line for rushes on special days as well as pre-snow storm stock piling. Wish the staff had a bit more personality (since coming in is typically for treat purposes and one wants to be a bit playful and have fun), but they are consistent and efficient.

Their donuts are good, but the donuts are all the same just different toppings and the toppings are not that noticable. So the donuts are super boring. Its just a lot of the same thing. Duck Donuts are extremely overrated. District Donuts are better.

I have only been once (I just very rarely eat donuts). But my donut was a small slice of heaven. Warm and gooey. Made just for me!! But really, its the best donut I have ever had. The only thing that could have made this better is if the coffee were higher quality. Im talking Kona quality. Thats the coffee this donut deserves.

These donuts put the cake in cake donuts. Very tasty but a little heavy. I ate two and could go no further. The variety is in the toppings not the donuts. Not cheap, but worth the price. Well organized and the kids would probably like to see the donut making process.

Donuts are not premade so you have to wait some time. Great if you are just getting a handful of donuts for family but go elsewhere if you are in a rush to bring a donuts to the office.

I didnt have any of the donuts, but I got them for my coworkers. This was my first time to a duck donuts. They were served warm and smelled so good. We had a dozen of the Duck Signature donuts. The crowd favorite was the maple bacon, followed by a close second of the blueberry donut. I heard the smores donut came in 3rd, but 3rd place was a bit more contested. Every one loved all of them and enjoyed getting to try them.

The most impressive thing is the speed and accuracy of the staff. The food is great, but knowing youll be able to get it quick and right makes it a great option any time of day.

Duck donuts are well-known for on spot fresh fried donut. look at those bacon bits. never go wrong with that much of bacon. must eat it at the spot, otherwise it can be little too salty and sweet.

Their service is almost as good as their food.

It was a different style of doughnut than I have ever had before. But it was excellent. Fresh, soft and warm. Very sweet though. I ordered 2 and that was more than enough sugar. I will go back and try the different types. I am bringing home a dozen for my nieces and nephew.

The warm and friendly Asian owner, Johnny, went the extra mile and made a pregnant womans day a bit sweeter!When I called a quarter of 7 to place a pick-up order as I would arrive a few minutes after the shop closed at 7pm, Johnny stated that the shop would be closed and after expressing my disappointment I hung up. Johnny called me back twice and told me that I could place the order and pick it up a few minutes after 7pm. When I arrived at 7pm on the dot, Johnny greeted me with a beaming smile and my donut was was still surprisingly warm!The cakey cinnamon sugar donut drizzled with nutella was tasty! It was a nice simple combination and not overpowered by toppings. While I enjoyed the cinnamon sugar, it was a bit messy to eat and had to shake out the sugar from the strands of my hair and on my sweater! Ill keep it clean and simple with just the nutella drizzle without the cinnamon sugar - next time!

In our family the lemon glazed (the tartness compliments the fattiness making optimal combo of fat, sweetness and acidity) and the vanilla glazed with coconut always get eaten first. Sinfully delicious! Cant visit too often or else our entire family would be diabetic!

Trying to get fresh Donuts is always hit and miss. Duck Donuts made them right in front of us as we waited. Have the maple glaze with bacon on top it tasted like I was eating pancakes with bacon. Definitely worth a stop if your fan of donuts and really good price compared to other Gourmet donut places around the area.

Check your prices. I went and got only 4 donuts but somehow it totalled to $15 - only 1 of it was a special donut. My friend got 6 donuts for $12 and she got 2 special donuts...Besides the pricing discrepancy the donuts are good. My grandsons love the strawberry coconut or the m&m donut.
