David recommended this equipment to us and the equipment has surpassed our expectations. ****Update to previous review: I ordered a Spirit Fitness bike for my newly retired mom. During COVID she found herself staying at home a lot more, and I was on a search to find more active exercises she could do from home. My boyfriend immediately suggested Busy Body as a local family owned company, and I when I looked it up, immediately found an outlet location just a short ride from my mom’s house. Busy Body suggested that I bring her in store and have her fitted. Our interactions at the point of sale were perfect! There were some extensive delays (about 2 months) with procuring the equipment- due to manufacturing issues, but when I reached out with my complaint- to my surprise the President of the company, Craig Lewin, responded immediately. He sent emails assuring me that they would correct the delay, and within the week we are already scheduled for delivery. I plan to further update this review once the bike is delivered tomorrow, but I want to provide my sincere thanks and gratitude to Craig for helping to so so quickly rectify this issue. My mom will be so happy now!!!! ❤️

After several calls to David Jones asking him numerous questions about all the different treadmills. We purchased a Precor 243 treadmill! David was so helpful too me and my wife. Delivery was so easy and quick! After 4 months we had a issue with the treadmill. The service department was so fantastic, our service guy(Daniel) was fantastic he fixed the problem and stayed and extra hour to explain all the minor maintenance issue that need to be done!We highly recommend Busy Body and David Jones in Arlington

I had a mediocre experience with this Busy Body location. Prior to my visit I sent an email detailing the type of elliptical I was looking. Tom, the sales contact at the store, wrote back and said to come on in. Didnt tell me if he had what I was looking for. When I arrived he wasnt wearing a mask and laughed it off saying, Well, if all the customers are wearing one then Im safe, right? Wow...just...wow. Anyway, I shouldve just left, but really needed equipment. I mentioned my email and he said to look around. In other words, he didnt want to hassle remembering my email. It ended up being fine because I knew what I wanted. He did tell me it would be 6 months or more due to backlog and there was no pressure or upsell, which was great. However, during that six months, Busy Body made no effort to contact me to give an update. I would imagine spending $4,000+ on equipment would have at least a courtesy email update. However, I did receive a flurry of spam emails, phone calls, and texts from Busy Body partners trying to sell me other services. Thanks for selling my information for more money Busy Body!I did email a status request to the store and another guy (not Tom) responded quickly with a very thorough voicemail, which I appreciate. Sorry, forgot his name, but very great team member. I was notified a few months later when the equipment arrived and installation went smoothly and equipment works fine.I also have yet to receive my sales tax refund as they advertised. Im dubious it was ever sent in for a refund in the first place.Overall, I would likely buy from them again but not at this location and certainly not from Tom.

We were looking for an alternative to the gym and decided to check out Busy Body. The manager, Lee, was very helpful when we visited the Arlington location. He provided excellent information on several types of equipment and was able to provide us with information on additional discounts. I would highly recommend this store for your home gym needs.

Everytime I go in here the salesmen have subpar knowledge of their products. I was asking a sales associate today a question while he was typing and he got flustered as if he was overwhelmed with performing two different things at one time. I wouldn’t buy anything here their just a wholesaler instead I would just buy from the companies who make the machines, this place is a waste of time

These guys are true class acts. Pretty sure it’s a Father/Son duo. I’ve bought bars, add ons for my power block sets, their in house rubber coated weight plates as well as other products. They always have great attitudes, eager to help, social and extremely helpful. They even loaded my car up with the weight plates I bought because I had my 1 year old son with me and had my hands full. I will always purchase anything I need for my home gym here. Awesome people here. A+!

Love the store...great choices, better than competitive pricing and especially the manager’s willingness to work with us without being obnoxious while looked.Over time, we bought an Octane elliptical, 2 Spirit recumbents, and a WaterRower and its all because Lee Thomas (the manager) helped us understand how they could round out our home fitness routine. AND...they’re doing the job.

Update! The owner called and apologized profusely saying they are trying to get staffed properly. We will give them a chance as soon as we are able to return. I hope to have a positive update again! We would love to give an accurate review of the store in Arlington, but we have been unable to shop there. We have tried twice this week. Both times they have closed before the time posted. I dont expect them to stay in business long with this practice. Its hard enough to get there before they close at 7:00 let along before that time!

What can I say, Ive been purchasing fitness equipment from Busy Body for years. Ive purchased Ellipticals, Home Gyms, Leg Presses, and many other assorted weight/functional training equipment and accessories. The staff has always been extremely knowledgeable, patient and willing to help in any circumstance i.e., research/opinions, initial sale, follow up support regarding questions/warranty claims, etc...The Busy Body located in Arlington, Tx. (north side of I-20) has by far the best staff, selection and service that I have ever experienced in a fitness store. Lee, the manager, has exceptional customer service skills, is extremely knowledgeable regarding any products they carry and has a talent for matching a clients specific needs with the right equipment. This location should be on your short list when shopping for fitness products and or advice.

The staff spent time explaining the differences between the machines and the different companies. We bought a new elliptical machine and are certain that it was the best choice for us.
