This is a must stop and shop ! The quaint yet so well stocked country store and this takes one back in time.

What a great place to get a fine sandwich and cup of great chili. Its amazing the inventory of goods they have from practical hardware needs to home supplies and toys. The current owner wrote a book on the store. Its been a general store since the 1840s.

The Wayside is one of those classic Vermont country stores with creaky old floorboards and friendly down to earth people. They have great sandwiches premade or to order, an awesome selection of beverages and snacks, and you can even get a fishing license there. Definitely stop in and enjoy some mom and pop goodness.

Good range of supplies including fresh produce. The chicken we bought (and roasted) was fantastic.

Great place to stop and stock up on anything you need while in Vermont. Great selection of items ranging from food and drinks to prepared eats and clothing. Very friendly staff and while a little cramped, clean amd well kept. A quintessential small VT country store.

My mom lived up the road for years and this was her local - they ALWAYS had what she needed, and they were friendly and helpful to boot. I always stop by when I visit and lately have LOVED The Ralphwich - delicious!

This country store is what vermont is all about, go and see for your self, it has all your needs food, drink, full deli, ammo, the works.

A lovely general store and actually a real general store. They carry almost anything you might be looking for. Hungry? You can get great food from the deli along with homemade desserts and treats. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dont just drive by, put it on your list of places to stop.

Great atmosphere, wonderful people and you can get just about anything your looking for from home made bake goods to fishing supplies. Has the atmosphere of a old town country store with people sitting around a big round table eating homemade foods to just saying hello to the neighbors.Two thumbs up.

I have been going to this store forever and Ive even worked here. They are making big and exciting changes, I cant wait to see it when its finished. They have a wide variety of products and their deli stuff awesome. Love it

I love this store. I stop in regularly when I visit my parents who live in town. They have great fresh sandwiches and deli meats and keep anything you need in stock. My favorite sandwiches are the vermont special and the Ralphwich. They have a sign that says something like if we dont have it, you dont need it. Excellently run store.

Old school charm abounds at this classic country store. Same owners for many years. Definitely overpriced for certain items but that somewhat expected given that the nearest supermarket is about 20 minutes away.

Seem to have a little bit of everything here, got a very decent sandwich and enjoyed it subtract a star because there is a five dollar minimum to use electronic payment via credit/debit card

TERRIBLE. Dont watch them make your sandwich if you have any health concerns.

Nice, old-school, Ma and Pa corner store.A bit pricey compared to chain grocery stores, but that comes as no surprise. Definitely worth a stop.
