Traveling and wanted to show my MIL the interior of a needlepoint show (she lives in McLean)—what a well-stocked and organized shop; I was able to show her the variety of canvas counts and associated fibers. More importantly, the shop ladies were super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again next trip!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Whenever we come here from Texas, we always make this place a MUST VISIT! The service is so personable. The selections of canvases and threads NEVER disappoint. Plus, we love Winnie! Such a sweet puppy!

I was visiting the area, we are from Rochester, NY. There are not too many places to purchase needlework supplies near us. I was thrilled to find the Waste Knot store. The owner is absolutely lovely and super helpful. The store is well stocked with an astounding array of needlework threads and flosses and wools. I found what I needed and much more - thanks for a great experience!

Lots of variety of canvases. Staff are both very helpful and highly skilled at picking out yarns and helping with problems. Love the new location! No more stairs.

Charming shop and very helpful owners. Huge variety of colors of embroidery floss, tapestry wool, and more. Located in the back of an eclectic strip shopping mall, it would be easy to miss, but dont!
