They were vert helpful when my daughter wanting an adult trike. They listened to what she wanted in specifications and ordered it for her. They were flexible the payment plans. The one thing that stood out for me, though, was that they went out of their way to search Amazon to find a cover for the bike and they didnt make a commission from my purchase of it. The Pearl Izumi sweat bands work well in capturing and evaporating sweat, and they fit under my bike helmet. However, I tend to lose black ones. The white ones offered by Asbury Park might be several years old, but they had them, and they shipped quickly.

I searched out the bike that I wanted and found it in the Brielle shop, we went to the Asbury location which was closer and we had gotten bikes here before. Randy brought the bike over from Brielle, assembled it, and sent me an email when it was ready for pick up. Pricing was very reasonable, especially since Electra Beach Cruisers are hard to come by these days. Would definitely go back for service and anything else that I need.

The staff was very nice and the bikes were VERY CLEAN and IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! Rates were cheap, and they rent by the hour---unlike their competitor in Ocean Grove who told me they only rent for a full day!

Courteous service and a store manager who was very helpful. The staff took the time to explain a number of things to me and I was able to purchase a Trek bike to meet my needs.

Everybody was super helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to locate a hard to find part, and in a timely fashion. They made adjustments without grumbling. The bikes are running great. They are the nicest team of people you could ever wish to find. They really know what they doing and they like what they do. They are busy, and it is no wonder.

Trying to find his and hers bicycles during a pandemic is no easy feat. I was in the market and searched high and low online. I ultimately landed at Brille Cyclery. They could not be more helpful. Having locations in Middletown and Asbury, they were able to locate the right size and color for both by wife (Asbury) and me (Middletown). They arranged to have my bike transported to Asbury and set me up for pick-up the very next day. When I got to the Asbury location, everyone was receptive and helpful. I was in and out in reasonable time (twice, since I had to pick up two bikes). We took our inaugural ride the day I brought them home and we could not be happier with the product. I highly recommend you check them out.

We had an unusual problem (broken 165 lb industrial trike that my autistic son rides) and Randy stuck with us looking for solutions. He finally picked it up and dropped it off, repaired, in 24 hours. I know we got lucky on the timing, but Randys attention meant a lot to my family. We are grateful and Asbury Park Cyclery has a loyal customer in my family. I will also spread the word.

Even in the middle of a pandemic, with outdoor service and a greatly-reduced staff, the team at Asbury Park Cyclery continues to out-do itself. I purchased a bike here recently, and after riding it around at home, determined that the fit just wasnt quite right. Jared kindly assembled another bike and the swap-out was happily made a week later. Anyone needing a crash course in what it means to be a pro has to visit Jared, Dave, and the rest of the team at this shop during the busy hours -- when there is no end of customers. Its a wonderful sight to behold.

Called multiple times with no answer. Showed up with some bikes to be serviced, and was not acknowledged or greeted. Finally was asked if Id been helped, and was told I should have called because they were too busy. There were three other customers at the shop. Finally was sent away and told to return in a day. Never going there again. Any business that cant update their phone messages and who sends easy business away deserves to fail.

Bought a bike and needed the seat height raised/lowered -- a few times -- and each time they stopped what they were doing and took the time to modify the height, have me test it out, and change it again until it was just right for me.Wanted a basket for my bike. Picked it out and they installed it immediately. Theyre always happy to see us.Teri wanted a basket for her bike. Picked one out, and they installed it on the spot.Excellent prices. Same prices as on Amazon for several items I was searching for.Great group of guys.

First visit to Asbury Park. Wanted to see it by bike. Brian set us up on a busy Sunday morning with 2 comfortable well maintained bikes. Very reasonable rates, the bikes made our stay so enjoyable. Great shop vibe, chill, friendly. Little boy came in while we were waiting with a flat no appointment and the mechanic stopped what he was working on to get him going in 10 minutes. I notice that stuff. Would use again.

After pleading my case to get the bike back, Jarrod tracked down who it went to, made them an offer to trade with another donation, and got my bike back. Incredible service. My wife and I started our journey in Brielle. Kathy spent some time with my wife letting her ride a cannondale she was interested in. Since we had a credit to AP Cyclery and they didn’t have anymore slots for a fitting, she told us to stop by this.Even amidst a global bike shortage and a pandemic, these guys did not disappoint. We were welcomed with open arms by Jared, who helped us get fitted with the right great and gave us additional info about the local cycling community. Asbury Cycle is a great shop with people who really know what they are doing. I purchased a Dutch bike from Holland and they put it together for me. I didn’t know but they could have purchased a Dutch bike for me from the Amsterdam Bicycle Company directly. It was a great experience all around.

Excellent service from these guys! I always get my bike tuned up here before summer riding. They are fast and professional. Weve also rented a surrey bike and had a great day pedaling around town.

My wife and I recently traveled to this shop from NH and purchased two new Trek Mountain Bikes. We could have purchased from any other shop in New England. but we chose Ashbury Park Cyclery. We made this decision based on the knowledge of the staff and the excellent customer service.The Manager Jarrad was very friendly and knowledgeable. He and the rest of the staff there were very quick to help us and once decided were excellent at the set up of our new purchases. They even helped load them on to our car. We have since returned home and have had some great rides on our new bikes at local mountain bike trails. We highly recommend Jarrad and his staff for all your cycling needs.

I had provided APC 5 stars when I bought my bike last April. We actually bought 3 bikes and spent a good amount on accessories. For sales, they were solid. Service however, different story. I had asked them to look over my bike to make sure it was running smoothly and didn’t need any repairs. I was to get a free tuneup. They were backed up for days, but they were willing to look it over for me. My bike got a clean bill of health, as per Jared. Slapped a service sticker and I picked it up. Not even a month later, I needed to replace my brake pads and gear chain. $100 repair at a REAL Trek store. I haven’t ridden it much, so how I needed new parts was disappointing. I feel like I was rushed out so they could appease me. I’m very disappointed and discouraged with this location and would suggest others to take their business elsewhere. I was a repeat customer and they disregarded me. Gave them over $2000 in sales last year. I would have preferred they told me my bike needed repairs but they didn’t have time to fit me in instead of lie to me.
