From the moment you arrive you are filled with amazement. The colours are something to behold and the journey around the enchanted forest is not at a rushed pace. Its very well organised, friendly staff and affordable. This is an experience you just have to try. Its worth the money, the travel and your time are the memories will be there forever
Been to the Enchanted Forest a couple of times, the guides there are very friendly. If you were going to fault anything, it would be the queues, but you have to expect that when there are that many people visiting an attraction like this. The staff deal with them very quickly and professionally. It was a good night out and an amazing show. I would definitely go again.
Lovely flat paths for all including dogs to have a gentle walk. Very peaceful and picturesque. Unfortunately some people still insist on being selfish and irresponsible by leaving rubbish. When will people respect the world they live in?
Overall the experience was good. the water/hologram show was the highlight but it didnt seem to be the spectacular event that it was built up to be. Some that had been before said that this was the worst year and others said this was the best. I had previously been to the one in rouken glen park and it had a lot more features like walkways where the ground was lit up with changing patterns and more changing projections and lights than this but on a smaller scale. Overall good for the experience but doubt I would repeat it here.
Brilliant excursion for adults and kids. The walk along the loch can be a little bit prohibitive for strollers and the elderly, with protruding tree roots and natural bumps on the path. The display itself is spectacular though, crafting shadows and light play mixed with the natural beauty of the trees merged with the reflective still water and it combines into an absolutely wonderful event.
A truly magical evening for all ages. Wonderful effects and music totally transformed the forest. Our friends 2 year old was facinated and engaged for the whole time as were the adults. Plenty of facilities and get rest spots throughout (including roasting marshmallows over fire pits!). Solid path all the way round and really well run shuttle buses. Will definitely go again next year!
Seems like a beautiful place, would love to visit when it’s the actual event. We visited during the day for a walk. The trees are amazing, some very old Scots Pines in amongst them and a beautiful lily pond, a lot of the woodland walk was closed off as they were setting up for the enchanted forest event, but this was well sign posted as we entered our walk. We would definitely come back to see the actual event. It’s a gorgeous place.
This year was a bit disappointing. The theme was a bit boring. I was at last years which was much more upbeat and just had a better atmosphere and 2 years previous to that was also better. It was still good and the lights made the forest look beautiful as always just not as good as previous years for me.
Fabulous place. Sshhh. Dont tell anyone
A truly magical experience for all the family. It is obvious that a lot of work goes into an event like this. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The light shows in the forest are beautiful. Book early though as tickets go fast. Travel to and from the forest is via coaches provided in Pitlochry.
Amazing, thoroughly recommend 25/10/18. Visited again 24/10/19. Different theme this year. Absolutely amazing once again. Had a wood fired pizza for £8. Really tasty. Thoroughly recommend going. Book tickets early as they sell out fast.
Entertaining from the pick up point in town until dropped back off again. View the forest in a totally new perspective with lights, music and many works of art (some of which you get to interact with). Annual family event which changes every year.
Absolutely amazing! So much better than expected. Well worth the entrance fee and something for everyone to enjoy.
A fantastic evening in pitlocry. I just wish it was on all year. Staff members where really friendly and helpful
This is a good place to visit. But I think its really enjoyed more by kids in my opinion,I got bored half way round but my kid loved the light shows the marshmallows and the walk round. Before you go to the Forrest their is nice shops and pubs/hotels to get food from to pass the time as it is a small place to visit.
Fascinating place to visit. The theme changes every year and never fails to entertain. We take our grandchildren and they love it. Plenty to see and do: Storytelling teepee, sound and light shows and food stalls. It also has an area where you can buy marshmallows and toast them over a fire. My photos do not do it justice but you can visit the Enchanted Forest website to see better examples.
Absolutely amazing experience. We went to the Enchanted Forest for the first time last year and well do our best to go there every year. Remember to wear comfy and warm clothes, boots and make sure you have some change.
First year visiting the enchanted forest & I was certainly not disappointed. The event is very well organised with coaches taking you in to the forest and back again. The actual event was amazing, the layout & lights were beautiful. It’s well staffed with stewards to guide you around. The way the lights are positioned to showcase the nature of the forest is amazing! We got some hot chocolate & roasted marshmallows over a fire pit which was a great experience. The prices inside were reasonable & they also served food. I already can’t wait for next year.
Beautiful walks and stunning views. Very accessible too
First year at this and it was amazing, will be back next year. Well worth the trip but I would suggest booking a hotel if travelling with young children if you do not live close as it is a bit of late night. You will spend at least 2 hours in this to really get the full experience. The staff there are great so make sure you have a good chat with them as they can enhance your experience with stories and role play. Food is not too expensive and is quite good. Parking can be difficult as you have to park in the car parks in Pitlochry so make sure you turn up earlier than you think to find a space as it is very busy. Once parked follow the crowd to the bus stop where you are ferried to the forest. All in all it is a great experience and is well managed and laid out.
Every year people recommend the Enchanted Forest and this year we were able to go. Its very well organised with buses and timed departures from Pitlochry. The stewards are all friendly and helpful and give great tips on the way round for places to view without being to intrusive to the experience. The highlight for us was the water feature with projections, really well done. There were nice fire spots to sit and enjoy a snack or drink. We went on a 7.15 tour and I think well try for an earlier session again to take our time going around. You have as much time as you like to get around which helps this.We will be back
Great night didnt know what to expect thought it might be set up for kids. Couldnt have been more wrong it was a great night out well organised stewards were magnificent travel to and from first class. Throughly enjoyed our night amazing.
Beautiful forest with fishing piers and lovely walks around the lake and into different parts of the forest. Kid friendly and toilets were immaculate considering these were public use and outdoors
Amazing! Loved the whole experience. Gorgeous lights and amazing shows
Amazing lighting in forest. A very family friendly event.
Fab and great for kids. The bus service is excellent. Traffic wardens operate in Pitlochry during the event, so park sensibly.
Had a great time as it was our first visit to the enchanted forest we didnt know what to expect 🤔 but we were not disappointed it was a well run event with plenty of things to keep everyone happy. 😁 definitely a must see x
The Lights, the Music, the Location. All were great and very well organised. Must see.
This is an awsome attraction for any age group . Kids especially will love the visuals, sounds and special effects all around the forest . There is a different theme every year so there are never 2 events the same . Ive been coming for 8 years at least and it still amazes me .
A truly magical experience, where the forest becomes alive at night with light, music and water shows. Really good experience, recommended for all ages.
Spellbinding experience. Thoroughly recommend this immersive, imaginative experience.
This was the highlight of our trip!! We are so excited we had this incredible experience and were part of a record breaking year. I would recommend this for families of all ages. Nothing spooky at all and just the best views of the Forest.
Great attraction for adults and kids, well orgenized - takes about an hour or an hour and a half to do the whole tour. Need to book it months in advance .
Brilliant event. Organisation was excellent. Food expensive but very nice.
Fantastic event, with a different theme every year, for kids of all ages.
Excellent attraction you will want to visit again and again. Our third time now. Ultra efficient park and ride from the town centre will get you there. Really enthusiastic staff who will make your visit great.
Not bad, can take your time. The town gets really busy while the event is on and it is very hard to park anywhere. Usually sells out really quick so when you book in advance keep your fingers crossed for dry weather. Seen a lot of people take young kids in buggies but i wouldnt recommend wheelchairs.
A truly spectacular and family friendly event, cant fault the shows, the lights, the staff or the impeccable bus shuttle service. Amazing.
Of the wild 2018 will be my 4th year going to this event and I still love it. Its a gentle, fairly flat walk and it is accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. My daughter loves it, its a lovely event for kids with its story yurt and most recent years roasting marshmallows. It is well organised with port-a-loos and plenty of guides. You get a designated bus and there are return buses bout every 15-20mins. Worth the visit.
First time with the family...would highly recommend as we all loved it....will be back next year...
Really nice light play and atmosphere l, definitely come back next year
Absolutely amazing show! Attended in 2018 while in vacation in Scotland (took a bit of planning and detouring) and it was worth every penny! A lot of the other attendees travelled up from other places specifically for this event and were surprised we as tourists had tickets since the events sells out well in advance. I would highly recommend this event to everyone.
Beautiful light show in a very scenic spot. Annual event. Tickets required.
Absolutely a must see, for locals and tourists alike. Every year is a different theme, but always enjoyable, even in the rain (the raindrops look like glitter sprinking from the sky.)
4 years running now we have been and just sighing up for a fifth now. Thats how good it is!
Really enjoy this years Enchanted Forest with the space theme. I hope next year is just as good.
We come here every year for the Enchanted Forest display and every time Im amazed at what they come up with. Its one of a kind and you should see it for yourself.I think 2017 was especially good. The music was better, not as loud as the year before and better synchronised with the light show. One thing I missed was the interactive displays seen in previous years. The fire pit was a great idea and toasted marshmallows were popular not only with kids. Toffee apples were amazing as always. Theres a couple of places to get something warm to eat and drink and theres always at least one vegetarian option like stovies or chilli. Theres also burgers and hotdogs for meat eaters.Portable toilets are there but I must say for the number of people who visit this place, theres not enough of them and theyre not kept very clean.Show itself is always well organised logistically. Busses do run often and even though theres a queue you dont have to wait long. Staff is scattered around the forest and always happy to help.Great fun!
Another fantastic year for the Enchanted Forest. The 3d projection show is stunning!
Pretty
This place is so beautiful, one of my most favourite places.
Thoroughly enjoyed the night. My granddaughters were totally enchanted with it. 5year old said oh gran, its like another world
Fantastic well worth the money 😁

Beautiful place, we go every year, such a magical place, perfect for families 🤗😍
Went as a family and we loved it
Family thoroughly enjoyed space theme. Will go again
Fantastic experience for the whole family.
A must see at least once, tried to get tickets for years and was unsuccessful until this year and I see why its so popular. And no picture will ever do it justice
Kids 9&7really enjoyed it. Personally found it a bit tame for the price paid
Amazing ♥️ Love going every year and its worth going to see
Fantastic event. Really well organised and completely accessible. Very highly recommended.
Been every year for the past four years and its a fixed family favourite. Just brilliant.
Magical!! defo worth a visit, lights are spectacular
Very peaceful
Beautiful place to go for a walk.
Brilliant experince, well worth it
This was the first time that I had been. Its well worth a trip. Really brilliant evening in the woods. It does get ludacrisly busy, so if you want to see a installation then be prepared to wait until its free. The lights are real pretty, the music is moving and mesmerising. However i did not enjoy the que for the bus. By the time we got on we had long missed our slot
Great family night out
Magical! Cant really say much more about it.Must see for yourself...Prams and wheelchairs, probably not a good idea.
Great for all ages...
First time being at this event absolutely amazing
An amazing experience that was enjoyed by the whole family. The light and projection displays were out of this world!
Very beautiful place to visit
Gets better every year!!

It was ok but quite samey
Lovely walk and peaceful
Lovely place for a walk
Brilliant organisation, fantastic experience
Lovely trip
Alwsys a great evening out. Brilliantly organised and staffed. And such a mesmerising and inspiring show. Love it
We loved the Enchanted forest. This was our first visit and although we were a 2hr drive it was worth it. We caught the 6.15pm bus so still had plenty of choice of parking when we arrived. The buses to and from Pitlochry are frequent and its not a long journey at all. The kids were fascinated by all the installations and loved toasting their marshmallows. We were there for about 2.5hrs giving us a chance to see everything and then revisit anything the kids wanted to see again. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Wed love to go back next year.
