Very detailed. Explanatory and friendly. Love the mask I was fitted with. They give options and don’t leave you stuck feeling if one mask doesn’t work for you they will trade you out Jordan was 10 STAR! Sarah and Brian are awesome too!
All of the staff was nice, very polite. Easy to draw you into a conversation. Brian (CPAP Specialist) was very courteous and knowledgeable. Went over the machine and my mask, went over and showed the new magnetic feature on it. Any questions I had, he had the answers to. Would highly recommend to all family and friends!

Went there to get my mother cpap supplies. Lady who greeted us was VERY rude. She acted as if she was very inconvenienced by us. My mother is 76 and has memory issues, but she was short with my mom when she couldnt remember who she spoke with when there were only 3 employees in the store, all she had to do was ask. This was extremely bad customer service. We went elsewhere for the supplies.

Today I called Advanced Hime Care because we were having trouble with our oxygen concentrator. They had some to our house in a very timely manner. The young gentleman who came out was Samual Mahaffey. He was knowledgeable, efficient and great around my kids. Thank you for your wonderful service!

So I originally gave this company a 5 star solely based on how great Brent was. Please see my post below. Brent is still great. I’ve had to change it to 2 star because of their sorry excuse of an ordering system. I needed more sensors for my 3 month old preemie who is on oxygen and I have to monitor is O2 and heart rate. Well, I had 3 sensors left so I called to order more because they don’t last long on a wiggly baby. They sent me the wrong thing. So I called back the next day to order the correct item. There was a 15 minute wait so I did the option of having them call me back which said would hold my place in line. 1 1/2 hours later and still no call back so I called again. Told the lady what I needed, even said the model number of the sensor so there should be no issue, right? Wrong! I was sent the wrong thing again and now I have to put the last sensor I have on my baby and hope when I call tomorrow they actually send me the correct thing and I get them in time before this one goes out. Again, the only positive experience I’ve had with this company has been Brent. The rest has been a joke. You are dealing with people’s health. Do better.I’m giving them a 5 star only because Brent is amazing and fixed everything that was wrong. On Labor Day, I brought my son home from his 74 day stay in the NICU and he needed oxygen. The gentleman that came out to set everything up was nice but I found out didn’t do anything correct. I was given 2 empty tanks, adult cannulas for my infant son, wrong information, and the wrong valve for the emergency back up tank. Brent brought me 2 full tanks and made sure all my concerns were addressed which is when I discovered that the original person messed up. Brent took ownership of the situation even though he had nothing to do with it originally. He is very knowledgeable and assured me that the mistakes would be addressed and apologized for the major mixup. I had questions a couple days later and text Brent and he was quick to answer when he could have easily told me to call the main office. If it wouldn’t have been for Brent, I would have given this place a 1 star. Brent is a huge asset to this company and restored my faith in this place
I had a wonderful experience today! They are going through a merger so things are a little crazy for them right now but Catherine was STELLAR! She was very helpful with finding me a knee walker for my broken fibula! She was so kind and made sure the scooter was as safe as possible! I would Gladly recommend them!
They brought in an oxygen machine for my Mom when she came home from the hospital. Hospice called them and asked them to remove it when they brought in their own equipment two days later. Mom passed on July 10th and I cannot get them to pick it up. I have called and called and left message after message and no response. I will put their equipment on the street today. I think they are crooks just wanting to bill insurance companies!
I recently purchased a lift chair for my aunt from the Adapt Healths retail store in Asheville. My aunt has heart disease which makes her feet swell. The store was very busy, but Katherine took the time and showed us several lift chairs and explained how each one worked and which ones would be best for her health conditions. She was very knowledgeable about the products, but not pushy at all. Katherine allowed us time on our own to try out several chairs and checked in on us while she waited on other customers. My aunt is extremely happy with her lift chair! She said she would be sending some of her friends into Adapt Health for lift chairs and other medical equipment in the future!
I initially had a bad experience here, but Katherine (sp?) was really amazing and went out of her way to help me.
My husband and I have been customers for over 10 years. Adapt Health and the Asheville office ( Jeremy and Katherine) they have helped us every step of the way, from supplying all the equipment to instructions how to use it. It is a small office and sometimes with only one person to handle the store, there is a small wait. I don’t mind, because the awesome customer service . Jeremy and Katherine take their time, so I know I will also get the same great service. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. You are one of our blessings.
I’ve been battling pulmonary fibrosis for ten years now. The team at Adapt Health has consistently surpassed my expectations for that decade. As my disease progresses I can do less physically. The stress and uncertainty of fighting a progressive disease is not easy.I would like to thank Katherine for always going out of her way to help everyone. She goes above and beyond to help. Such kindness is precious and we appreciate her!
I have been an oxygen (also CPAP) customer at this location for approximately one year and can now give an honest appraisal of the service I’ve received. It is based primarily on Katherine and Jeremy whom I’ve dealt with the entire 12-month period and not some 15 minute whimsical observation.These two employees have been outstanding. I had fired my two previous local oxygen provider companies for horrific customer service. Katherine and Jeremy have often gone above and beyond what I ever expected. Last fall when I had to travel to the northeast for medical treatments, they coordinated with another AdaptHealth company and made oxygen arrangements after I was unable to successfully do so myself. Katherine even called me at 8:30 at night to make sure I received the callback I was promised.Has every 15 minute snapshot over 12 months with AdaptHealth been perfect? No. But given the opportunity these two employees always take care of the customer and as a result, I can’t imagine taking my business anywhere other than AdaptHeath.
Katherine, Carson and Jeremy have all been very helpful when I have called and visited the store. They are always knowledgeable, kind and patient.
The clerk at the retail store on Sweeten Creek would lower her mask anytime she was speaking. When she raised it, it still wasn’t covering her nose. This is a medical supply business, so I am certain many who visit have disabilities. Please use proper safety guidelines.
I had a Excellent Service Representative while looking for additional equipment for my cpap machine .Sales Representative Katherine Willett was able to point out the differences and advantages in different products and how they worked . I will shop there in the future .
Katherine was very helpful to us, she gave us very detailed instructions on how to use the wheelchair and was very patient and kind to us.
Very professional and caring staff. A variety of products were on hand . They will verify fitment and that you buy the correct item before leaving. If they do not have it in stock, they have a website where you can place your order. I highly recommend this merchant.
I want the advanced home care management to know what an asset they have in their employee Jeremy at the Asheville store. I recently came into the store with equipment needs for my mother coming home and Jeremy made me feel welcome He answered every question I could throw at him and made me feel very confident in my ability to get something that is going to provide a better quality of living for my mother. The equipment is well built and exactly what my mother is needing. Everyone concerned about some of the reviews, need to know that is definitely not the experience you get when you walk into that store. Ask for Jeremy, he will brighten your day!!
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! I was run around in circles for over two hours with them. They transferred me to different states twice, hung up on me three times, and lied to me. It took them over a month to get my supplies ready to send out.

I would give the rest of the staff, the service, and knowledge a 1.Jeremy has become an exceptional ally in helping with products in the store. He always has a smile for us when we go in and makes us feel comfortable in asking any and all questions to be sure we purchase the right thing.We have had little success with the other staff members. They have beencondescending, seem to enjoy talking down, and have a minimal amount of knowledge.In addition, it is almost impossible to get them on the phone and the no. of buttons that have to be pushed is annoying.I hope things will improve.

I have been a customer of Advanced Home Care for 8 years. I have always received the best service and attention from everyone at this store.I am not wild about getting the home office when I call the local number.So I just keep a my local office in my contacts.
Company switched the delivery ticket with another customer for a concentrater.Also my mother needed oxygen. this is her lifelineAnd the company took it apon thereselves to extend the delivery of oxygen by an additional day. Without letting us know. They claimed they did not have the right phone number. They actually had two phone numbers for us, and both of them was wrong. But they did have the right address. They said they did not have anyone to deliver so they extended the delivery by another day. And did not tell us about it.
Worst company to deal with. After multiple calls for help no one would help. Empty promises and worst customer service! Would not recommend. They are just after insurance money and customers money! If I could give negative stars I would!
Absolutely love this place!Every time Ive been there they have went above and beyond to make me feel better. The guy that is usually working the front desk is one of the most professional and knowledgeable about these products as Ive ever seen.I took the time to read most of the negative reviews and its funny really. Especially when you look at the same peoples reviews for other companies. Seems like all they do is bash companies when they dont get their way.
The store personnel is helpful and knowledgeable. However, the customer service deserves a negative star rating. You cannot reach the retail location directly but must go through a tedious, difficult and very time consuming dance with a automated answering system. And when you do reach a representative, you still do not get to someone who knows anything about what the retail representative has agreed with you.We were told that the walker we needed would be in the store and available for pick up in two days. I was then called by a customer service rep advising that the item was out of stock and they had no idea when they would get more in. When I called back to find out what that meant by way of timing or if there might be other options (I had to leave a message), I never received a response. Then, the retail site called to tell me the walker had arrived after all and I needed to pick it up that day, which was no longer possible. I will try to collect later in the week but anticipate it will be a wasted trip. This has been a very frustrating experience to obtain a necessary healthcare item that is supposed to be covered by insurance. We will likely end up simply buying the upgrade model to have it in a timely manner, underscoring what a racket this appears to be. Shame on the entire system!!!!
Terrible experience. The staff acts entitled to treat you like something stuck on the bottom of their shoe. They make creative bills depending on their mood. They should be investigated by Medicare/Medicaid and any insurance company.

They have been auditing my account since Oct 1 because I have Medicare. Every time I call, they are rude and obnoxious. There is never a supervisor to talk to and they give ridiculous excuses. I have no idea when or if I can get supplies. sTAY AWAY from this company. No one should be treated like this!!!
When I needed immediate and high flow rate O2 therapy for an acute and painful issue, these folks went above and beyond to quickly equip me and supply my medical gas needs. They have been very helpful, empathetic and fair in all of my transactions with their company.
Ive tried to give them my money and business and nobody there seems to want to take it. Im now a proud Aeroflow patient. Avoid these people at all costs!

If I could give this company zero stars! After having my knee replacement surgery I was delivered my medical equipment to the hospital a commode chair and a walker to which my husband had to haul back down from the six floor of the hospital put it in my car and bring it home! I asked the man why he brought it to the hospital he told me cutbacks ! Well the potty chair was not big enough so I had to contact my Doctor for a prescription for a larger one and got approval from my insurance company that it would be paid through my workers comp.claim. So my husband drives a 60 mile round trip to Asheville to pick up my equipment and the man at the retail store refuses to give my husband my equipment tells him that once the patient is released from the hospital and has Worker’s Comp. insurance they cannot give you medical equipment. Oh he would’ve gave it to him if he would’ve paid out a pocket for that equipment which would’ve been over $300 ! all along he has a valid prescription and confirmation of guaranteed payment for it so I go the whole weekend with no potty chair or no needs at being able to shower this company is the worst I have ever dealt with in my life the man at the retail store was awful ! In the time that my husband was there he turned away three or four other patients one who is in need of some kind of heart equipment this company does not care about its patients from what I can see it’s all about the bottom dollar! And don’t bother calling their one 800 number you will be on hold forever and then the person who answers the phone is just as clueless has no answers for you and cannot help you at all has no clue what’s going on! Just a word to the wise stay away from this company I will be filing another complaint with the North Carolina division of help service regulations in Raleigh ! This is not how you treat people when they’re at their lowest point and sick!
Not customer service friendly. Every time I go in there there prices and procedures change. They charge higher prices if use insurance. I usually just pay for it myself. Today they wanted to charge $176.00 for CPAP mask, same one I paid 8 months ago for $114.00. I told them I would not pay that much and left. Been buying there for 10 years but not no more. They dont care. I already found same one online from another company for $85.00 free shipping.
Their phone system is completely frustrating. I called the 800 number to arrange a pickup for a piece of equipment. I was told that someone would call me back and they never did. Just placed a second call today directly to the Asheville location and had to leave a message. Two weeks later, and the insurance company is still being billed. I smell a rat...
Was given a very quick run through and sent on my way on a brand new diagnosis and equipment I had never used in my life. I called a couple weeks later and while the woman was nice, and she did show me some things, there was still much I did not know. When I went to the doctor and complained they put me with another company. Turned out I had the wrong mask size, was uninformed that I could get a new mask every 30 days. Was not given good cleaning directions. Not show how to manually adjust some settingsThese guys are just ripping off your insurance. stay away
Terrible customer service. This company has peoples lives in their hands and they are completely unorganized. Very scaryIf I was old and vulnerable they would have ripped me off while giving me bad service.
I will make this short and to the point. I may have insurance, but I dont like the fact that these people are inflating their supply prices because they can. Over $100.00 for something that should cost no more than $ 10.00 is a bit too much. I needed a new reservoir for my cpap machine, and I was told that I could not get a new one because the cpap machine I had was discontinued. That was a year ago. I had to get a new machine. Today I found out that the reservoir I needed is still available. I didnt need a new machine after all. The last thing is that I have to have my supplies mailed to me now. It is suppose to take 8 to 10 days to get them. It has been 12 days now, no supplies yet. I called and was told they have no order for my supplies. They are going to rush them to me, so they say. As soon as they are here, I am going to find some other co. for my supplies, after I check their rating! Avoid this company at all cost.
The people answering the phone very rude insisting I had been in Sylva office instead of ASHEVILLE. Then when I explain to her it was for my husband not me she got angry Then she hung up on me I need desperately this item in morning or I would be going somewhere else. I have used this company for four family members. But never again. There is no call for rudeness.
They double billed me for a transfer bench, for which they got paid and billed about $700 for a wheelchair that costs $140 on Amazon and about $200 with Advanced Home Care themselves! And they call themselves a not-for-profit company! I wonder how much commission they give CarePartners who are conveniently located across the road while processing consumer patients!! when you ask them to justify their charges they refuse to do so in writing. I have learned a new term as a post stroke survivor – vendor abuse - there needs to be a registry for this kind of serial behavior
I personally dropped off the prescription from my doctor to the retail store. Was told it would take an hour for her to verify insurance and I would hear from her that afternoon. Didnt hear from her. Waited until next day. Called. Main line sent a message to the retail store to call me. Didnt hear from them. Called the next day.....and the next..... finally went in and waited 35 minutes to find out I hadnt met my deductible and I had to pay $60+ a month. Ok. Signed a bunch of papers. In the meantime, whatever HIPPA laws there are obviously do not apply here, as I learned everyones info as she multitasked at the counter....and everyone learned my info. Very unhappy with service and no one seems to know what is going on, plus you only see the one lady at the front desk.... either she doesnt need, want, have help because if I wasnt standing here waiting for the equipment and they didnt have the script in her possession, I would hobble out of here. Shes nice enough, just too busy. It is very unprofessional and unpleasant.

My mother in law left the Lodge at Mills River for our house on Monday afternoon, 1/15/18. The coordinator there informed us that BCBS required using this company for a wheelchair, and she ordered one. Five days later, I called and cancelled the order as I found one locally and just bought it. Horrible customer service, and the lady informed me that they had only asked the insurance if it was covered - NOT ordered it. Please take your business elsewhere and suggest BCBS do the same!

I called the number to order simply a mask for my CPAP. The automated messaging service which answered my call was so weakly spoken I could not hear the individual wordes being spoken--once I actuated one of the required buttons I was sent to another automated message--I gave up!! and Hung up.
Bad. Ambulance chasers. Showed up at hospital trying to hard sell oxygen. Ended up using them. We have called twice in 4 months for oxygen to be refilled both times they were very rude. We dont do deliverys on the weekend, unless hospice....ok..This time we called on Tuesday. We were told it will be delivered on Friday. Thats our delivery day . ( So, apparently you can only get oxygen 1 day a week. Im not sure what they do the other 6 days of the week. )Thats not what your told when they show up unannounced at your hospital room. They promise you such great service and the man was very nice. The rest of the company is not nice and they have false promises. I Would never use these people again. Try Lincare or Aeroflow. Have got to be better than this company.
I tried getting a rollator and shower stool since the first of the year 2016. The first time I was sent a walker and rollator, both were bariatric, which I dont need. When I called to arrange pick up I was told that they would have to call my Dr. to tell them I refused the equipment, of course I did, it wouldnt fir through my doors. They also told me that it didnt matter what my Dr. ordered, they determined if I needed bariatric or not. . CRAZY!! I kept working with them and my Dr. sent a detailed script of exactly the product name, model and product model number. It was product from a vender they use, I had my ins. co call to verify it would be covered and Advanced called and told me that they would NOT give me the item no matter what unless I self pay because my in. co prob lied about paying because thats what insurance companies do...they lie. I told them to close my file and never contact me again. What a waste of peoples time. No one should even try to deal with them. 2 months!! I complained to my ins. co and have told anyone who would listen how horrible my experience was.
The staff has gone out of their way more than once to help me. Ive had nothing but a positive experience.
They put me on a contract and continue to charge huge amounts of money despite my having insurance. Since then Ive found that I could have purchased the same stuff for less money if I had bought it online and done it all with about 1/3 the hassle. Save your time and money and shop somewhere else.

They are very difficult to get a hold of by phone. On hold for way too long every single time. I am considering looking at the other company in Asheville that provides the same products and services.
