The service was excellent, the store associate walk us to the product we were looking for
Easy to find stuff. Staff seems knowledgeable especially when asked for a product. This is my go to place for everything.
Please take better care of your succulents! Especially vining succulents. You are literally drowning them. It gives them root rot if you water them as much as I see your store waters. I bought a beautiful string of bananas and it’s turning black and mushy with root rot from the crown down. So disappointing. I will have to dissect and carefully work to fix a plant I spent almost $20 on to hopefully get a plant out of it. I would’ve given a higher rating but I really want you guys to stop killing the plants! I also bought a tiny pumpkin bag that came with a split open and rotting pumpkin that really grossed me out.
They do a good job at keeps products organized as many know, most home depot locations have products all over the price with no prices and it is hard to get in touch with someone to do a price check but this location doesnt have this problem. Even though the lines can be long, there is a decent amount of staff members working to keep the line flowing so your wait.time is not that long. This visit I have to not that the cashier that handled my check out shared with me the discount program home depot offer and I have able to safe a little money of my purchase and she was friendly. This is world class customer service.
Home Depot has been a great place to buy home improvement and landscaping supplies during the Pandemic. Their self checkout scanners work well.
The workers here are so sympathetic and professional. They always help me find my way without me having to ask. I am so grateful for such responsive customer service.
Good store but very busy and somewhat understaffed. The store is sometimes disorganized and the merchandise can be disheveled especially in plumbing and flooring and lumber. The outdoor section is quite large and has a good stock.
This Home Depot is your standard one. Everything is organized and you can direct yourself to where you need to go. For a rating of a 5, something must standout special for me like customer service, appearance, etc. This store just meets expectations, but doesnt exceed them. Just my opinion.
I am a former Hechinger employee so the smell and atmosphere alone rate high for me at this Home Depot. Try to park on the top deck for ease of exit and entry.
This store would get an extra star if they would mark the entrance on Connecticut Avenue southbound with a sign. As you are rounding the curve, the entrance comes upon you suddenly, without any specific marking. The larger Home Depot sign about 200 feet further is not much of a help.As for the store itself, the staff is sparse, although usually quite helpful. Occasionally, you will encounter an employee who is abrupt or marginallyrude. The merchandise is kept relatively well-organized, considering the thousands of inconsiderate customers who make a mess of everything. Be wary of some of the house brands; some are overpriced junk, like the $109 light fixture I just purchase there. (Walden Forge 2-Light Black Frame Flush Mount Ceiling Light with Antique Brass Sockets)The tool department is nice, with many good quality selections that sometimes beat the best prices on Amazon for identical items.
I would give 10 stars if I could. Customer service is AMAZING!!! The staff I am referring to in particular worked on Aug 28th between 4 & 5 p.m. I needed assistance in several departments & experience wonderful service from every encounter. I actually held off writing this review to find the notes with the names of those that assisted me, however, I misplaced my notes. When & if I find my notes, I will update this review. Their patience and service was truly appreciated because without a list, I was all over the place, mentally and physically. Two items I needed, and the last available in the whole DMV area, were slightly damaged. The staff did not hesitate to offer a very reasonable discount even though they knew I was somewhat desperate & in need of the purchase.Older gentleman assisted, while purchasing a showerhead. Very patient and helpful. One item, although listed online, wasnt stocked on the floor nor priced once found on the shelf still in the boxes. The staff did not complain, didnt show annoyance, nor tried to persuade me to abandon my purchase. I actually was going to leave without it. They went over and beyond to locate the item since it queued as being available. They could have easily encouraged me to purchase elsewhere or allowed me to leave but they didnt. The item actually came in handy so Im glad I had it.Thank you employees at Aspen Hill, you were appreciated! This store is not the closest to me and I was there due to the availability of very much needed items, I definitely will continue to shop there when and if I need items from Home Depot.
Good customer service. Lots to choose from. Great help all the time.
I am very disappointed with their staff today. Two boxes of grinder blades fell on my mother because a staff is moving some stuff one aisle over. One of the boxes hit mom’s head and then scratched her foot. Two staff were chatting maybe 3 yards left of us. They may not have seen those boxes fell on my mom, but they definitely heard her, we all did; yet they did nothing and continued to chat. I had to complain to them before they offered ‘Are you ok?’ then walked one aisle over to chat with the staff who caused it. There were no apologies and no attempt to stop whatever they were doing after they introduce safety measures. Mom is ok. I am just floored by the lack of customer services and safety awareness. They made me feel like we are bothering them. I can care less that they waste company time, but they should at least do their job when required.
Customer service was great. It is easy and convenience to return product after purchase.
Home depot is an in and out store. Mefchandise(s) are easy to locate.
I tried renting a trailer from this location and neither of the available units were functional (separate reasons). The staff member that assisted me was also noticeably sick which was made obvious by his profuse coughing and discolored mask.
MR. ALEX, Thank you for helping me out my freezer pick up order. You did incredible job!MR. JOSEPH. Thank you for your help and answering my questions on the phone about my freezer sizes. I appreciate it! You guys did a great job! Keep it up!
I absolutely loved the service I got once I was able to actually find the Home Depot. I had to waste 45 minutes circling around the supposed location of the mega store before I found the parking lot. It is the most pathetically located Home Depot Ive ever seen. You cant find it because of all of the car dealers. They need to do a lot better at signage ... or just move.
Customer Service Excellent great workers teams, help you to find every think you looking for very easy
I enjoy getting plants here and other home improvement accessories. Parking lot often crowded. Lines in the plant section can be long. Self-checkout lanes in the main store usually move fast.
I have been going to the Home Depot for over twenty years. I have to admit as of now the Home Depot and I have a good relationship, but a few years back was a different story...umm hum. Home Depot has actually been living up to its slogan you can do it...we can help! I am not sure if they still use that, anyhoo I went in recently to make a copy of a key but also ended picking up a few nails, cleaning supplies and an ice tea. As you can see the trip was successful, and helped me get other things that I needed. The most important thing that happens at the Home Depot and the biggest change is the people who work there. They were genuinely helpful and knowledgeable which is invaluable when visiting a hardware store on steroids.
I prefer Home Depot over other home improvement stores but this one is the worst. Average customer service, dirty store, shelves completely disorganized even in the middle of the week. Aisles so full you can’t push a cart through. But to top it off, they’re usually out of it, no matter what you’re looking for, they just sold the last one even if the website says there are several in stock. Go to a different Home Depot.
Always has everything I need and the staff are always friendly. I rent tools all the time and the team there are always making me feel welcome. I also had a great time with the folks over at the appliances department.
This place is like my home away from home. The store is always clean and organized. The staff is friendly. The department heads are knowledgeable. And the curbside service is prompt.
Thank you for your excellent service.
This Home Depot is has a good selection and I can usually find help pretty quickly. The place is always busy, so the parking lot and entrances can be a mess.
So very crowded for a Monday morning. Did not have the led bulbs I wanted. But pretty much the same as its always been. More day laborers in the parking lot than I remember from when I was last here near a year ago.
Always a pleasure when there. We did not think to check the ten containers we bought: 3 out of 10 were incomplete?
I came here in need for a lawn mower blade and was directed straight to it by Terah was very professional and insightful. Also while there Trevor assisted me with a DYI electrical plan and I just enjoy the knowledge and professionalism of this team!!
This Home Depot is very large has everything you could think of,,, however I couldnt find my 14×28 filter,, and it took me over 1/2 an hour to get a board cut because there were only 2 people working in the lumber section and they were both busy loading wood.. They are the most crowded HD Ive ever been to..
Returns are easy. Loose screws and bolts seem hard to buy; no bags, pen or pencils, or clear instructions what numbers are used at the register. No other hardware stores do it this way.
Short check out lines on a very busy Saturday: I couldnt expect much more. (On less busy days, the normal aisle clerk has limited advice, but good at finding a colleague with more info.)
Always find what I need from a single nail to home appliances
I had a positive experience, most recent I have noticed the cashier lines go quicker even if its full with customers, Phil at the electricity isle was extremely helpful with what I was looking for and was attentive to customers.
I did curbside pickup for this trip, so they came right out soon after I left them know I was there. The employee that helped me was courteous and professional and assisted me well. It was a nice experience.
Clean, safeguards in place. Limited selection of storage containers
FAIL..my visit was good but...allegedly one of the managers there band a kid from the neighborhood for bringing back defective products.. He returns products that are broken or come apart...The manager told him he was going to call the police and have him band. One of the few kids that will cut your lawn, shovel your snow, clean your gutters.EPIC FAIL HOME DEPOT
My shopping experience today was disappointing. I was looking for a carpet steamer to purchase. Since I was not familiar with where these were located in the store, I asked two different associates where they were located. They both sent me to the incorrect aisle. One said to check aisle 16 and the other directed me to aisle 39. Both incorrect locations. It was aisle 36. Seriously, this is a big store!
Home Depot is Home Depot. Curbside pickup was convenient. Lost a star because parking lot is a little cramped and signage to find where to park for curbside pickup and what to do once you get there could be improved.
I have gotten good service there.
Runs fairly smoothly. People are knowledgeable
The staff was knowledgeable to give me direction on finding items i needed, also helping to lift heavy items to put on my cart.Home Depot is my #1 Hardware store. Its close to my residence,i only go astray in the rare event, they dont have what i need.Peace/love.Claudia
Keep me out of here. Milwaukee has drained my account. I love this place they just need more associates on the floor to answer questions and guide you to things youre looking for. There might go to place for Milwaukee equipment.
Dave in the kitchen cabinet department is a wealth of knowledge and extremely helpful. Highly recommend working with him.
Great service, easy to find tools
The parking lot is a mad house and while it has many items; the item I wanted---a washing machine lint trap, was impossible to find. Also impossible to find was someone who worked there who could help me.
It’s hard to imagine that this Home Depot is in the top of the highest sales in the country. Definitely not the place to stop for customer service or any kind of help at all. Both as a contractor and a consumer I spend my money at businesses for product and customer service. I would think that a company this large with The sales numbers they have would reinvest in their employees and their business. Something is way off Addie’s team meetings and customer service training seems to be nonexistent here. The manager Shannon was extremely rude and not helpful at all. The other manager Ally was helpful however she was dumbfounded and had nothing to say about the lack of customer service, how to fix our issue, and the aggressive and nasty attitude of her associates. I run a business myself and manage another business so I really cannot even believe why this would be happening in such a large store that is doing so well financially. If I thought anything would come of it I would speak to the general manager Brian however I can’t imagine our talk would have any kind of positive result. If the slightest effort was put into the customer service here they would absolutely see an increase in sales. In regards to the issue they brought on this review Words wouldn’t even do it any justice. But attached in the picture below is the 1000 pavers that I pretty much unloaded myself after they couldn’t get things right, broke the pallet in the bed of my truck, and rammed my truck with their forklift. By the way I took this photo after the associates left it sitting in the pro lanes in front of the store and went about their business. It definitely wasn’t moved afterward because I reluctantly went back inside to get a few items those will be the last purchases that my company and anyone else around me ever make in the store.
Very busy staff is helpful when you need help. Shelves are low on household supplies. But you can always find what you need here. And there is plenty of parking. Always very busy at this location.
Rented a heavy duty hand truck. Worked beautifully and was very reasonable.
This review is specifically for the the very helpful fellow Tony G. who was working at the paint desk. I ordered Lead Defender paint online, and had it shipped to the store. I had read beforehand that I could also have it tinted for free at the store. I went in on a Saturday, and despite being very busy, Tony G. took the time to figure out how to properly tint my special paint despite the fact that it wasnt in their system, and required manipulating the mixing formula while also juggling many other customers. I appreciated not only his helpfulness, but also his patience and good humor. Hopefully management at the store realizes his value as an employee and gives him a raise sometime soon.
Anyone witness the harassment, verbal and physical assault of a customer, by employee outside the front entrance on 4/26/21 at around 2.00, 2.30 pm, Mon. The employee along with a cart collecter and seemed to be a mang. made some extremely unfounded accusations of the customer. It was not first time, I.ve seen wrong interaction from this cart collector, or from the employee .Seemed the customer had lengthy conversation with the mang. and security . If the customer had been drunk, why was police not called ? Seems there are way to many employees standing around at front of store doing nothing more then causing trouble ! Then to top it off, the employee threatens the customer, and precedes to yell why don,t you go to Loews which is followed by the (seemed to be mang. )saying the same go to Loews . There are alot of ( but.. Sniffing @**#%!$&*) This is no way for employees to conduct themselves ! !!!
I love this place! Youll find anything you need from decorating to building and gardening.
Mostly I always get all I need there, and the return policy makes it easy
Cant get enough of HOME DEPOT, Im like a kid in a CANDY STORE...
The store had what I was looking for. The employees that I bumped into for assistance were courteous and helpful. I would have given 5 stars but the store could have been a little bit more tidy. Overall, I enjoyed my visit.
This is one of the better home depots for the gardening section and customer service. If its not much farther away go here.
No Service available. Parking lot is nasty. People drink and urinate in the parking lot, plus deal drugs. One star is being too nice
Well stocked but my only issue is their inventory does not match what they have on their website. Completely off and dont trust it.
Kwesi from plumbing very accuratly and helpful regarding location of the parts.Five stars
Staff was unfriendly and not helpful. They had what I was looking for, however I will go to a different location the next time I need to visit a Home Depot.
Always has what I need… parking lot is terrible traffic wise
Very good.
The item was in the wrong spot. It took forever to find someone to help.
The order online, pick-up curbside service was smooth and convenient. You simply click on your email receipt to let them know you are there. The employee was professional and we didnt wait long.My only problem is that the company supports a corrupt administration. We only ordered from them because we couldnt find items elsewhere. We usually avoid.
Staff was very dismissive when I went in an emergency to get a fridge, and was told to check lowes... so I did! Now I prefer lowes. The prices at lowes are also lower.
Nice service and atentión to the customers👌👍
Not overly crowded and was able to check out quickly.
Mighr be the worst HD Ive ever been to. Nobody knows anyrhing except how to look on their phones to point you to an aisle. Zero knowledgable staff who might actually provide good advice. And whats up with no plexiglass cutting service?
Why dont they hire people that actually know about the section they are working in? Its amazing how its never the employees department when a customer needs something. They always say theyll call someone and no one ever shows.
Five stars for service. Assistant Manager Fatima helped me to try to find an item that want on the shelf, called other stores to check stocks, etc (never found the item, it is commonly stolen, had to order it online). Despite not getting the thing I needed, I greatly appreciated the service.
Aspen Hill Home Depot is a good store to visit. It is large and fully stocked. Good customer service.
Aspen Hill Home Depot is the worst, stopped in for a 1/4x3/8 valve . Guess what they don’t carry it . Also was looking for non slip pads for carpets, guess what they only had three and not my size . When store opens employees should be ready to work not just getting there . This store sucks !!!
My fiancé and I have been here before for years and never expected this place to become a disappointment. We were going for a quick key making and a 2-3 minutes visit has become a 30-45 minutes wait and only one person knew how to make keys and the self kiosk doesn’t have many options. I think this place needs better service. This is a overpopulated location that needs more people who know multiple departments.
I was a very safe place due to covid I felt safe and it was a lot of help there
Love this home depot. Everyone us very knowledgeable on all your needs!
Great location, great staff. Andre in garden dept was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with our purchases.
Good place to shop
It looks like The people Who work here are always in bad mood
I wish there was a candle that smelled like Home Depot’s lumber department.
Definitely doing all the right things until were out of this pandemic
Knowledgeable staff efficient service
Couldn’t find what was I looking for. But still didn’t expect it to find it.
This is the best home Depot in Montgomery County... clean, always stocked and you can actually find people to help you.
Tool rental surprise charges. Rented tools here twice, several months apart. Both times I was charged for a damage protection plan of some kind without being asked. I was never presented with an itemized invoice prior to my card being charged, so it wasnt possible to see that the insurance was on their until they ran the card and printed everything. Luckily, the second time I knew to check and found it before I left (unlike the first time). One rental was a mower, and it was really beat up, affecting my ability to use it.
Great. store
The place i always go for my home needs..i like the way they do it foe curbside pick ups in times like these.its convenient and fast
Convenient organize it helps me to find all item that i need and all the employees are friendly thats why i love to shop at home depot
The worst experience at this home depot location. They offer curbside pickup which they shouldn’t. I waited one hour and 20 minutes to get my item that I already paid for online. And it was ready for pickup. And I only ordered 1item. I had my baby with me so I couldn’t go in myself. I will definitely make a complaint with management. This is unacceptable. Never again
Love this Home Depot. Almost as much if not more than the Shady Grove location. Clean. Must wear masks. Cashiers are protected. Great selection. Practices social distancing.
Dont expect services as the associates will run away from you when you ask for services. It is inexcusable in these pandemic days for some of the associates to wear their masks on the chin. No effort in providing a senatized environment.
