When arriving at Heritage Housing of Athens, I was met with a very friendly and professional man by the name of Kevin White. Who brought me into his office and gave me a very detailed explanation of the company and how things work differently between each county. And was able to thoroughly answer any and all questions I had. Before giving me a tour of the lot. Where he was then able to explain everything from the frame to the roof of each trailer I saw. 10/10 would recommend Heritage Housing of Athens to a friend or family member where they are knowledgeable, professional, but most important friendly.

We had an awesome experience went in last Saturday 10/23/21 and didn’t have an appointment but Wayne took us right in and made some time to talk with us and show us some houses and to see what we were looking for. He even is going above and beyond to help get every single detail exactly as we need to be. Looking forward to finishing the process with him and the staff at Heritage Housing of Athens. They have been a great help and awesome to deal with and so friendly.

First I spoke by phone with the very personable and knowledgeable manager. Our conversation confirmed that Heritage Housing is a solid company with which to do business. Then, my husband and I went in and met with Kevin White to tour homes and get more information. Kevin was extremely personable, kind, professional and informative. As an educator, I appreciate when other professionals provide a broad scope of information, and an education on their product or service. Kevin did just that superbly. We spent about an hour with him touring show homes, asking questions, and learning about the company, the product and the process. We left Heritage Housing of Athens feeling very pleased with our experience. We will do business with them and really appreciate how they handle sales, education and customer service!

Worst dealers around. Tried contacting them multiple times for issues after set up and haha good luck. Make sure to inspect every inch of your “house”. Also they hire the worst contractors. Our foundation had to be redone 3 times and our porch’s are garbage. Hire your own you’re better off. 2 months in and had to repair the ac unit now it’s getting cold and haha the heat doesn’t work. WOW! I’ve spoke with Barry and Wayne Hill who was the “seller” such BS.

I called and made an appointment with Robert Henderson. Upon our arrival we were met by Robert. He made us feel VERY Welcomed!! Robert took us on a tour of ALL the homes on the lot. We fell in Love with the 3264-32AP model. We LOVE the front porch and the kitchen. Robert answered ALL of our questions with such expertise. We sat down and went over ALL of our options. We met with Barry Mercer and he explained the financing process. Barry was concise and straightforward. We have ordered our forever home and can’t wait to have it delivered and set up. If you are looking for a New Home, I would HIGHLY Recommend Heritage Housing of Athens!!!! They are the BEST!!

Absolutely awful. They tell you if you leave a good review they will give you money off your new home. But this is after the initial visit which was pleasant. The second visit was a joke. Prices are outrageous. Definitely NOT worth having a salesman turn their nose up at me like they are superior to me.

Wayne was very helpful with our questions .. well worth checking out. he gave a lot of info about what is involved.... seem pretty simple process.

We had our initial contact, and following appointment, with a gentleman named Wayne Hill. He was very knowledgeable without doing the hard sell, he was very patient with all of our questions, and we knew what our next step was in our particular circumstances. We went so far as to ask him for a couple of extra business cards, so we could refer people to him....and we didnt even know about the discount until afterwards.

My husband and I are looking for our next home so we decided to visit Heritage HomesAt the other places we have visited we were able to view their homes and then speak to a representative with any questions we had.Before we could visit the homes but we had to sit with the salesman and give very personal information to him.After viewing the home, we decided that the quality was not what we were looking for and we just wanted to leave. However, the salesman corrales into his office and was asking us again how he could make this deal happen. We made it clear that we were not interested and as we were leaving he had the audacity to say if you would give their business a five-star Google review he would take $500 off a home.

My wife and I have been looking for our next home, and we have been considering a double wide. We have been looking at different models to make our choice. We came here to see what they offered and before we could see their homes we had to sit with a sales person who asked a lot of financial questions. Then we saw the homes. These homes are very low end and poor construction quality. In some of the kitchens there were gaps where the counters didnt meet well, and most of the cabinets dont have drawers.I would not recommend this place. It was an uncomfortable visit only to view mediocre homes.

We found this place online. Nice website. Made an appointment but had to reschedule twice. Robert Henderson was very accommodating to us and made sure we were able to look around as we needed. He was very helpful explaining setup, financing etc. We will be back for a second look.

I thought this was the best place to go It sure seemed like it at first then they lied to me told me all I needed was 3500 down payment then at the last min when we fixing to sign the sale agreement they said they couldn’t do it unless I gave them a thousand more dollars that wasn’t rite I’m poor at they wanna extortion me I’m upset me an my poor momma we just ain’t have no extra thousand dollars to give them an they wouldn’t work with us and I called the dealer legacy and found out they up the original price of these things by 30 percent or more than what they pay for them so they are making a killing an just being greedy by trying to charge so much I would never again recommend anyone to go down there for a home

I personally didnt do any business here however, the reason why Im giving them a 5 star is because of how friendly and caring the lady who works here is. My car broke down right in front of the place and while I waited outside for the toll truck in 90F temperature, the lady offered us to come inside in their air conditioned office and even gave us free cold bottled water while we waited for the toll truck to arrive. She made us feel very comfortable and welcomed and would if given the chance would gladly do business with them

Worst place ever we bought a house from them had to get power hook up our self which we were told we would be payed back for thats 1100 dollars Ill never see again,our closest has no rack in it,the trim is falling down,there is a hole in my daughters bedroom ceiling,the exhaust fan in the spare bathroom does not work,the house is not level.All they have done is lied,they are super nice until you give them the big down payment. Also I had to call all my inspection in myself they have no idea what they are doing.#gosomewereelse

These people are rude. I walked in and went to look at homes to buy. No one could help me. When I came back in to try again there was a man there started talking to him and told him I just wanted to look at all of the homes. He said he could not do that I had to pick what kind I wanted. When I told him I just want to look he then told me if I wanted to look there was another place down the road. He then told me the name was comfort homes. I am telling you that is the place to shop they have a very friendly staff and will actually help you and are not disrespectful to customers. To pass off business is pretty sorry of a company. I would definitely not shop at this place.

Juanita Bland and I were at Heritage Housing of Athens on 2-25-2019 and were great with very friendly people. Mr. Tim Whorton, one of Sales Representatives took us in his office and proceeded to find out what would meet our needs before taking us to look at the houses.After seeing the home we filled out an application to purchase the home. Everyone was helpful in helping us with hopes of getting this home. Shop with them if you need housing they are really good and helpful.

We walked in & was greeted by Michael Harris with a smile & hand shake. He was so helpful and very informative. One of the nicest Saleman I’ve ever met.

Well...it is what it is...a sales place. Some nice homes here. You cant just stop by and look, you have to go through the office to get to the homes. The person we first spoke with was no longer there when we stopped by at another time with some questions. The guy who showed us around this time told us they have high turnover in employees. We didnt ask, he just told us that. We couldnt get a straight answer on delivery and setup costs so we went elsewhere. Thats about all I can say about the place as we didnt do any business here.

This place is a terrible business. I regret buying my house from them, it has been a nightmare. We put $20,000 down and are left with a house that is undone with many issues. The house is not level and they was made aware of this issue and decided to ignore us and did not fix it. The stove did not work we had to find an electrician to come look at it, ends up the wire for the stove had been cut in half and was shoved in the wall. The a/c unit drip was not hooked up so water is leaking under my house. The Back door has a big dent in the bottom, they was made aware of this also. The spare bedroom has holes in the ceiling that still has not been fixed. The closet has no closet rack and no blinds in the living room. They had to put new door knobs on the doors because the keys was lost. The exhaust fan in the spare bathroom does not work. The spare bedroom door is not level so it will not even stay opened. My husband had to call all the inspections in cause they never called to have a single one done. They know about all these issues in the house but yet keep feeding us lies after lies. We had to find an electrician to come hook up the power cause they could not find anyone to do it. We have tried to work with this company about fixing the house but after all the lies we are just fed up. If you are thinking of buying a house I would go elsewhere.
