QUALITYOutstanding. Need a dessert fix? The cakes are great by the slice. Dont get me started on the coffee options. If you want something unique, acidic, and strong... you should try the Turkish Coffee they offer. If you wanna share something small, the baked brie and honey will blow you away.IV. CAPACITYThere were times where we had to wait about 30 minutes on a table (on the weekend). But the nice thing about being in the city is you can walk around and explore until they call you for your table.

The decor is unique, the service is commendable, and the food and drinks are fantastic.We stopped by here to check out the late-night menu on a Wednesday after 10pm, and were surprised to see the place fully packed. Its evident that people love this restaurant and return frequently.One note... they no longer accept cash, so heads up.5 stars, would definitely return!

A great restaurant, the restaurant feels fancy so I thought that it would be pricey but it was pretty reasonable. Went around 10PM so they had a slimmed down version of their menu available. I got their burger which was good and the Cesar salad which was also great.The lady behind the bar was nice I didnt get any drinks but the 2 men beside me got espresso martinis which looked pretty good. I do regret not getting any desert since a lot of it looked super good.

Loved this place! Lots of seating, great service, large selection of food, coffee, and pastries. Perhaps most of all, big fan of the decor and overall atmosphere. Will definitely try to come here again.

Oh man do I love this place. Whenever Im in Atlanta I do my best to make it here at least once! Came in with a friend for Sunday brunch. I had the breakfast plate, and she the croque monsieur. Both were excellent! We ended with a lemon torte. I had coffee and she a French 75. Great! Our waitress was friendly and masked, as was all the staff. Definitely always worth a try if youre in the area!

Indoor and outdoor seating. Large semicircular bar with dining tables all around. Your menu can be viewed quickly by scanning the barcode located in the center of each table if you like. Our party ordered the American omelette, chicken salad croissant and seafood crepe, later we enjoyed a cup of caramel cappuccino then we ordered cookies and cream cheesecake. There wasnt a morsel of food left, all so very very delicious.Park in the Loews hotel parking lot next door and the parking slip will be validated in the restaurant.

The food is really good! The cheesecakes are delightful and have variety. But I would be lying if I said I wasnt disappointed in the size of the portions. I ordered a Cesar salad with the smaller portion of salmon and boy was I taken aback. I have NEVER seen a piece of salmon this small. I have seen communion crackers that were bigger. The salad was good, I just have to pay the extra $5 for a size that fits the salad because that piece that I recieved was fit to be on a cracker.

Okay so let me start by saying “I love this place!” We were seated after a 30 min wait but it was 11pm on a Friday. Our waiter took our orders quickly and brought everything back exactly right. Lovely little spot for brunch with fantastic Cappuccino.Had the smoked salmon eggs 🥚 Benedict with a side of balsamic glazed tomatoes. Accompanied with a capuchino made with coconut milk, perfectly steamed with cinnamon and 2 shots of espresso.Outdoor seating was nice and service was very attentive. Good spot to also meet and get some work especially if you need good 5Guw connection.

Can I just live off of amaretto cheesecake? I feel like that should be something I could do. Everything here is delicious. The service is perfect. Pls tip generously. The coffee is amazing. As a tourist, I was saddened to leave this place behind.

Coffee and dessert at the bar. Everything was great from the items we ordered to the service. It can be busy on the weekend and late night.

We stopped in for a treat and had the Carrot Cake (amazing) and the Hazelnut Cheesecake- which was so good there is life before and after it. The consistency rivals the best NY could offer, and the hazelnut finish was explosive. Just chocolatey goodness that lingers in your mouth for 30 seconds. Insane.

Although it is very expensive, it is truly worth it for a romantic date night. My wife and I are regularis of this location. We drive an hour (traffic) just to enjoy the delicious and scrumptious cheesecake that Cafe Intermezzo has to offer. I am a huge fan of this place and wish that there was one closer to west Atlanta. Love this place. Only con is the snobby acting staff. The customer service should be equal across perceived class levels.

This is our go to sport for late desserts and this time we tried something new. We decided to get mussels and seafood dip. The dip was a little too cheesey yet it still tasted great. The mussels were good but we had about 5 of the 25 that were dead so the shell wouldnt open but thats the risk with mussels. In reality this was still a great experience and encourages me to try more entrées instead of just desserts next time we go there.

Such a wonderful lunch today! We all loved what we ordered. I had the grilled avocado salad with a crab cake. So yummy! 😊

As out of towners who love coffee, we got a recommendation to visit Café Intermezzo from an Uber driver who lived in the area. Intermezzo is a vintage Italian/European themed restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant interior was very dusty and looked like it needed a good spring cleaning. Our food was simply okay and the coffee was not very good unfortunately. A good cup of coffee should not taste bitter or require large amounts of sugar to be palatable. Our server was very nice and the staff were pleasant, but I can not say the establishment is worth a visit.

I love this place. The environment is nice, the food is fantastic, great coffee/drinks, and the desserts are sooo good. Def recommend the seafood dip, it comes with baguettes and it is so savory and creamy. I get it every single time I’m there.

Open late night with all of your favorite decadent deserts, Cafe Intermezzo, offers a cute date vibe. Service is average. The staff is professional but not the friendlinest. Decor is reminiscent of a French bistro.

Excellent place for a casual date night. I stopped by for a quick coffee, but could not hold myself back from indulging into a slice of chocolate ganache pastry. There were so many options available that it was difficult for me to choose, however, it turned out to be a very good choice. The laid back environment and the cafe style dine in was very romantic. The street side small tables were all crowded, however, I did not eat anything there. But I’m sure that I will go back for a meal.

Lovely patio seating. Amazing selection of desserts. The cheesecake was perfectly balanced not too rich and just sweet enough.

Intermezzo is an European Cafe on the corner of Peachtree ST in upper midtown.. they have a great selection of cheesecakes and pastries... Tiramisu at this place is excellent.. they have a big selection of authentic coffee beverages from Europe and Asia, including Turkish coffee. They also feature a full bar and a food menu... The atmosphere inside is cozy, reminiscent of a post war french cafe... there is patio sitting with small cozy tables.. this is a go to place for first dates and is crowded in the evenings and weekends... If you are visiting Atlanta, its a perfect place for a little post dinner dessert

Went to try out brunch here. Got the omelette and it tasted like a sponge. I was extremely disappointed because the atmosphere is so nice and everything is fancy. But somehow the omelette had absolutely zero flavor, which was weird considering I can see the tomatoes and sausage inside the omelette. My girlfriend got the egg Benedict and it was pretty good, avoid the omelette at all costs though it’s 14$ for some yellow egg whites essentially.

Very nice restaurant, drinks were great! Both coffee and the mixed drinks and the ambiance were awesome. It would be great if they had a vegan dessert option. Also the service was very slow. But its an awesome late night spot.

Oscar made us feel incredibly welcome even when we stopped in for just a house coffee. Great customer service and great food every time keeps us coming back. We always bring our out of town guests and they love it.

First time trying it. Best flavors all around. Turkish coffee followed by a Seafood Crepe followed by a Cafe Cubano and Blacktop Mountain Torte. All excellent.

It was okay. $35 for a chicken caesar salad and an appetizer is kinda shameful. Gladly, I looked in my bag because there was no chicken or dressings for my salad. The ONLY reason I didnt give them two stars is because the carrot cake I ordered, paid for and they ended up not having, I got from Metro and they couldnt have made a better cake if they had unicorn tears on tap.

Nice location and overall ambience/experience. Food was good, however, limited gluten free options. Also, I was disappointed in the “rosemary potatoes” as there was no rosemary (visibly or taste).

At 3pm in the afternoon, I enjoyed a good French brunch. The fresh strawberries were excellent on top of a delicious waffle. Great decor inside the restaurant and restrooms. Only drawback was the amount of food for the price, and parking across the street for $10 for 1hr wasnt cool. Also the spicy Alfredo, wasnt on the level I expected.

We visited 5/2/21 around 4pm and it was busy (we waited 40 mins for a table). Service was reeeeeally slow but our server was so pleasant and that made up for it. We ordered a cappuccino, a slice of blackout chocolate cake, a slice of peanut butter cup cheesecake, and my friends nephew ordered the waffles. My friend raved about the peanut butter cup cheesecake... He said it was the best hes ever had and hes very picky about food. Nephew said his waffles were ok but not worth the looooong wait, LOL. The chocolate cake was very rich and chocolatey, and quite dense. The cappuccino was very good; it was topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. Will definitely be back- hopefully service will be a little quicker next time. Ps. They validate parking for the parking garage that is connected to the building; its only good for the first two hours, tho.

Ambiance was great and they recognized my birthday with a special acknowledgement. The caramel crunch cake was exquisite moist and melts in your mouth with a chill. The venue and restrooms were clean. Our server was great they didn’t have the creme brûlée but it worked out with my alternative choice.

We were supppper disappointed in the food here. By no means are we food snobs, but we had the croissant dish and omelet and French toast was extremely bland, over cooked, and cold. Even if it was cooked well, food has no taste and bad texture. I’m not sure if it was just an off kitchen day because it was extremely busy, which was surprising. But I can’t see it getting any better because there was no seasoning/sauce, etc. French toast syrup tasted like it was an expired grocery item and potatoes were tasteless. Would definitely not recommend or return.

There is no dessert on earth I love more than the Oreo cheesecake here! The atmosphere here is so lovely, they even teach you French in the bathroom (over intercom). We always take guest from out of town here and everyone has loved.

This is one of my girlfriends favorite places. The ambiance is absolutely wonderful. Great place for a romantic evening. The menu is small but everything I have eaten here was excellent. The desserts are to die for. And the drink menu is extensive and interesting.

Lovely place to have a cup of coffee. The cafe has a beautiful ambiance and they play Jazz in the background. The White chocolate and Raspberry cheesecake was heavenly.

To sum it up: sub par. Our wait was over 45 minutes, which was fine because we were a party of 6. After being seated, we were given water in a timely manner but was never asked if we wanted anything different to drink. After placing our order, we waited for over an hour to receive our food. When they brought the food out, we asked for the checks (plural) and to go boxes. The waiter brought one check. The Belgian waffles were very hard and overdone. I had supposedly a toffee topping on mine, it was thickly spread on the waffle. The others didnt even bother to take their waffles because they were so hard, a waste of $11+. The only person who ordered pasta had hard chicken in theirs. Because it took so long to bring our food, the restaurant was closed and so was the kitchen. We were also ready to go, and had already paid for the food, walking away with barely anything. The food was terrible and was a waste of over $115.

Crepes was delicious. I had ginger lemon tea ... it was made perfect ... balanced... tasty.

This was my first time going during dinner and I actually came for dessert but the atmosphere was just right I had to sit down and enjoy a meal.I’ve come multiple times for brunch & have enjoyed my visits, But dinner was 5 times better. I really like cafe intermezzo, its such a pleasant spot to take a friend or a date. The interior is quite dark, could probably benefit from a little more lighting, but the food is great and the tea selections are the best! I can come here for tea and cake or brunch or a full blown meal and feel like Im taking a step into a romantic cafe in France. I love the eggs Benedict here, its my favorite.

Wonderful customer service! One young lady went above and beyond to help us find their entrance and ensure we still will be seated! Atmosphere was beautiful! I will definitely be back! Oh, the desserts are great too! Didnt have time to order from the grill as we came after the grill was closed.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had.I came to Sunday brunch with my two friends and everything was awful. We ordered two different speciality lattes and they both came out tasting just like plain coffee. The cheese on the Truffle Cheese Melt was dry and the not all the way melted. The avocado toast was burnt and minimal, the eggs were tasteless. The Rosemary Potatoes were not seasoned. The server tried her best but it was obvious that she was struggling to keep up with her section with no assistance. This was not up to standards of what dining out should be. Very disappointed.

We were celebrating a friends bday. We came for creme Brule but they dont offer it anymore so we had the German chocolate cake and the Carmel crunch. Loved the Carmel crunch and the German chocolate cake was really moist. Also had coffee with white chocolate and whip cream. Delicious!

Every time I visit, the food and staff are just lovely.

Intermezzo has been one of my favorite intimate dining spots for years. I think they have a well curated menu, though its not huge it does have variety. The desserts are a gem of the place as the cases are packed full. Previous to the pandemic there was a huge tea menu which was one of my personal favorite features- its more limited not but still offers excellent quality tea. The interior is that of a European café with classic decorations and music. The restrooms have foreign language learning audio which is a fun quirk. The atmosphere is that of a bustling intimate experience which I enjoy. There is parking within the building and can be validated by the waiter. Overall, I always enjoy coming here for a slice of cake, pot of tea, and reading a good book and people watching.

I love this place. I ask my husband to bring me here for my birthday each year. The caramel cappuccino is one of my favorites. I love the salads. The beet root salad with chicken is my favorite. My chicken is always cooked perfectly. One of the things I love about this place is the consistency of their food and drinks. The service has always been good every time we visit. The desserts are delicious! The carrot cake cheesecake is really good. Its layers of carrot cake with a layer of cheesecake in the middle. Its yummy!!

Love the outside tables. Reminds me of being in Paris and great for people watching. Peachtree does get way too loud but thats just the location. Food and service were great.

I literally want to try everything on their menu!

This is a great place to have grab a bite. Its a convenient location and has outdoor seating. Grab a book, bring a friend or just sit in silence and enjoy the food while visiting. Their drink menu is so vast, theres something for everyone. If youre going just for food, they have a nice assortment as well. Portion sizes arent and wont be an issue here. If you order just small plates, that would enough to share between two people as it is, you could probably skip entrees unless you have the stomach room for it. If the weather permits, I highly recommend sitting outdoors to bask in natures beauty. Theres just enough shading that you wouldnt need to worry about being sunburnt. If sitting outdoors isnt your thing, you can opt for indoors and observe the interior offerings. The chandeliers are definitely note worthy.

Love coming here for some tasty cake! My boyfriend and I come for special occasions and we always get two slices of cake to split. We’ve tried a lot of them, and my personal favs are the tiramisu and the black and white cheesecake (wasn’t on their menu last time we went through). The atmosphere is very sophisticated. This place is absolutely gorgeous little brunch spot; however, the food is mediocre and hardly seasoned … my waitress was nice but not attentive … my expectations were HIGH since I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place but my visit wasn’t 100% the best experience. Fun place to come try. You feel like you’re in Europe while sitting on the patio sipping your cappuccino. Quick and friendly service. Amazing selection of appetizers. I enjoyed my beet salad and the mussels in red sauce.

As my birthday experience continued, my wife brought me here for dessert and coffee. I had a cappuccino and a nice helping of the tiramisu. The tiramisu was fabulous, among my top five. The cappuccino I ordered was not what appeared in my first cup lol, but after I remix I got the cappuccino Italiano and it was a very good cup of coffee. The service was okay, the server was polite, and we set out front along Peachtree Street. Hanging out with my wife on a Sunday night having coffee and cake, yeah thats living.

Worst service. The server spill all of our coffees before bringing them to the table and dont even bother to go back and order new ones. For 9 dollars per coffee its not acceptable!Edit: Sarah

So I was told this was a cozy, intimate place to have some good food, as well a place to be sure to take a date. Indeed all of these statements were true. The atmosphere of this place is encapsulating with a chill vibe, that invokes a sense of relaxation and peace.The Truffle Hot Chocolate, I believe it was, had a very rich taste... Best damn hot chocolate Ive ever had! The strawberry cheesecake as well, was great. Dont hesitate to grab either one of these on your next visit... I promise you wont be disappointed☝️.Not only are the food and drink menus diverse, they offer exceptional service. I enjoyed our waiter, as well as the rest of the staff who were very kind and welcoming.I definitely recommend this place on the hot chocolate and cheesecake alone. I ordered the Spicy Tortellini with Salmon. It was delicious, creamy, and filling. The Apple Crumb cheesecake was on point. I only wish I had taken a pic. Most definitely going back now that I know there is one in Nashville.

It was by accident that my wife and I decided to eat at Cafe Intermezzo. It was fantastic. Our server, Isis, was quick, efficient, and very nice. She provided us with suggestions when we asked (each suggestion was spot on). My wife got an eggs benedict and I got Belgian waffles. Perfect way to end our vacation.Well be back our next visit to Atlanta. :)

The place is beautiful first walking in. Theres people enjoying themselves on the patio and having a great time inside. They were super busy so we had a 20 to 30 minute wait. Not bad for an restaurant in Atlantas busy night life area. But heres where my issue started. They sat us at a tiny table for 2 in corner next to the bar so there was heavy foot traffic. So I ask to be moved of course there was no other seats available because it was busy. Oh well so we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartender literally ignored us the hole time. I have a bartender background and restaurant experience I can see that he was not busy enough to not serve us. There bartender poured 7 glasses of wine and only made 3 or 4 cocktails. Most of his time was spent talking and avoiding eye contact with me. We ordered from one of the other guys that I believe was doing take out or something. One table sat down 20 minutes after us and received their food first because the bartender didnt put ours in right away. Not only that but the counter top was so gross that we had to ask for a rag to wipe it ourselves. I ordered the squash pasta while my friend had the smoked salmon pasta. Now I did enjoy mine but my friends pasta had no salmon or anything in it. It was seriously just noodles and cheese so we sent it back. I dont think Ill be returning anytime soon. The attitude and service that we received from the bartender who seemed to only care about his hair is unacceptable for any restaurant establishment. The gentleman who did take our order was very kind and courteous and I appreciate him. His name was Steve or John or something like that. I give them 2 stars because the quality of service we received from everyone else we came in contact with. Also because of the quality of food we received. Not to mention that the noodles were under cooked and tasted reheated.

We know this place is great for desserts and drinks - above and beyond. However we tried there for breakfast/lunch. Their french toast was really good. Their breakfast potatoes were good, but needed a bit more seasoning besides the peppers and onions they were cooked in. The chicken and brie sandwich was fantastic. I know wed eat there for dessert, but now were ready to go back for any meal of the day! And as normal the service was fantastic.

Visited the cafe for dessert and drinks with family as it was highly recommended.And this was my take, I would like to give this spot another try, as I felt with the fanfare and prices it fell a little short for me. The ambiance was nice however.Tried the strawberry torte, possible recommendation fresh strawberries for the filling might be better and give a memorable strawberry experience.The baileys coffee and Irish coffee was a tad mediocre not sure why the shots were separate from the coffees though 🤷🏽‍♀️. Heymaybe the next visit will be different 🤔

Great place! Stayed nearby at the Loews hotel and was looking for a breakfast place. Google helped me find this one - and so glad I did. Breakfast was very tasty! My eggs Benedict had a true Hollandaise, not the fake quick sauces - eggs poached perfectly with loads of ham. The potatoes also rocked. And all of this in a very European setting. Can’t recommend this place highly enough

The cubano latte is soooo good! But you dont like sweet thing dont order it! But it is not too sweet to drink. Cookies & cream cheese cake is sooo good too! But a but sweet!

This is a nice Italian place a good expresso, cappuccino, coffee with alcohol, and other cocktail drinks. Saturdays and Sundays they have brunch all day open at 10 am. Monday through Friday they opened at 5 pm breakfast is served all day. They have a good espresso martini drink. The tables is set for social distance, including the bar. It is family-oriented and a nice place for a casual date. They have various cheesecakes and cake tortes to choose from.

It is a beautiful cafe... If you want to treat yourself or some one special this is the place. Especially if they have a sweet tooth and coffees

I went inside and ordered to go. I tried the carrot torte, red velvet torte, and the light & dark torte with one of their coffees ( I cant remember the name but it had hazelnut). The drink was delicious. The tortes were okay. Nothing I would want to repurchase and definitely not something I would go out of my way to get to. Literally tastes like something you could get at a Kroger or Publix bakery. I feel like they are slightly overpriced. The atmosphere is nice and low lit as well as a little on the noisy side. I do want to go back and try some of their coffee alcoholic beverages though....

Delicious food and sweet treats

We were visiting for the weekend and we had breakfast everyday here. Place it’s cozy, romantic and services it’s really good. Best coffe I have had in a long time. And the teas are also super good quality. Love it!!
