I went in to get a gift last minute and I really needed it the same day. I was prepared for the worst but, Amanda was amazing. Not only was I impressed by how kind she was with me but, watching her be the same way with all the other customers was impressive. Great service is important and she was consistent with everyone. She knew I was in a bind and said shed try her best to get it done same day and she did. Thank you Amanda. Even if I didnt get it the same day id be happy just because she was that nice. Came to store to pick up merchandise. Received email and text stating items were ready. Came to store one item is missing. Picture frame for my mother in law. Was told to come back in 30 minutes. I was asked did I want to come back. It is currently 5:15pm in Georgia. The traffic is horrible. I politely stated I would wait. Make sure you double check your order. I never had this problem with the Arbor Mall location. Used multiple times. The Cumberland Mall location should do better 👎🏽

Today was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with this location. I’m a regular customer and this location ONLY gets my presence because it’s convenient. I live in the area. Usually the customer service sucks at this place. Never am i acknowledged Or helped, but today Anthony was so helpful. He greeted me and made me feel welcomed. Honest review. My first time ever buying anything at this store, I bought a clock and wanted it engraved. I live an hour away from this location so they mailed it to me. I wasn’t happy with it, I’m guessing that the young lady who took my order initially was new and didn’t know what she was doing. I went back so they could fix it. I can say I received the best customer service possible from one of their best employees named ANTHONY! He fixed my order immediately and it turned out Perfect! Great guy. I’m so pleased with how it turned out and he was the person to make it happen. I couldn’t thank him enough. Im not ordering anything else if he’s not the one doing it. If you go to this location ask for Anthony. He’s the best.
Terrible customer service! Originally had plans to purchase a product and engraving at town center. Town center was slammed and it was going to take too long, I was advised to order online and pick up from a store closer to my drive of where I had to be, near Cumberland. I ordered online, and my order was processed. I made an effort to call the store 14 times on my way there, to let them know I was coming. Nobody picked up the phone. I called corporate and the lady on the phone was so nice, she took down my info and told me she will contact the store and have the rep give me a call. I never received a call. About an hour later, I made it to the store where NOBODY was in there. I explained my situation to the lady in the store and all she gave me was ATTITUDE. Telling me the whole store system is shut down, and she cant do anything, (it was 15 minutes u til close) you want to tell me you’ve done zero business all day? And you cant pick up the phone. She tells me she was attaining to customer needs and I wasnt important calling over the phone. But she told me I could take my product home without having it engraved. I called corp again, and it was the same lady that helped me earlier. Told me she talked with the rep and she was supposed to call me back. I confronted her and she said “i was too busy” .
I order an item to be engraved a day beforehand because it was really important to have it ready the next day, I called the store and they said they were going to give me a call never called. The time that I needed came and still NOTHING! When i called the personnel was rude. Very upsetting like If i pay good money I expect good service and stuff to be ready!
Very poor customer service. One of the main skills someone dealing with customers should be MULTI-TASKING. Abby is very poor at this job skill. When dealing with a line of customers, you should ask for help and make every business transaction efficient. I’ve been here plenty of times and when Sarah or Maurice are here customers are tackled efficiently. The last 2 times Abby has been here, I have waited More than 30 minutes to PICKUP which is crazy. When I went into the store today, a GOOD employee would ask what j was here for today to the process go by more smoothly. After 30 minutes of waiting, another customer walked in and she asked was she picking up and proceeded to try to tackle her. I had To enterject just to let them know I was here to pick up also but no one was concerned with that from the beginning. Tajaj proceeded to help me. This place is great for engraving but Abby is poor.

Its all about customer service these days and Joneal knows how to treat his customers. A busy Sunday during the Christmas season for this store and he still took the time to mock up three different different options for me to view so I could see exactly how the engraving would appear on the gift watch I brought in to the store. Its rare to find someone who takes the time to make each customer feel special. Joneal was so helpful and patient that Ill be coming here for all future personalized gifts.
Very poor customer service. I ordered the item online for pickup at this store. Upon arrival, the engraving was inaccurate and incomplete. After enduring their efforts to manipulate me into accepting their mistake as a better option, I then had to wait 30+ mins. while they completed the instructions theyd previously failed to adhere to. I left wondering why I even bothered to purchase online. Total waste of time
If you dont offer embossing please dont say you do on your website.
Ive read the other reviews and based upon my experience today I would say that it all comes down to the people.I had to get an item engraved today, and being a Saturday, Things Remembered was the only store open on the weekends. After reading the reviews I didnt want to experience the same thing, but when I called the man who answered the phone was very helpful and friendly. He told me I would have to wait for my engraving if other people were ahead of me, but I could get it done the same day. Base upon how he answered the other questions I decided to go in. Not only did they live up to what they told me on the phone, but the young clerk who helped me, Arnesia, was very cordial and made me feel very good about my purchase. This is what I expect from a store like this.Im not sure of the employee that caused all of those other reviews, but my experience was the opposite. I think the thing I realized about chain stores like Things Remembered is it all comes down to the people that are working there at the time. Because they are chain store they are open on the weekends and can do same day service, and sometimes in the negative they can hire unmotivated people who dont know how to make the best out of their situation, no matter how stressful it can be.That is obviously not the case with Arnesia. So because of the my very positive experience with her today, I give Things Remembered 5 Stars. When I go there again I will be sure to call and make sure she is working that day.

I went here to get a gift for mothers day and wasnt disappointed. The manager was super helpful answering all of my questions they had alot of selection for pretty reasonable prices. Also they helped me customize the jewelery I biught.

I wish I could give zero star to this place. This store has by far the worst customer service ever. Couple days ago I went to the store to return a watch. I stood there for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. There was one cashier busy with one customer while the manager just stood there like a statue looking at my face without even asking me if I needed any help. Long story short, after 15 minutes of standing there I asked the manager (White female probably in her 50s) that I need help with returning. She gave me that rude look and asked me to present the receipt (which I had a picture of). She told me it is against the policy to accept a picture of the receipt and that I had to present a hard copy. She could have told me this 15 minutes ago !!!! I called another store and asked if they will return the product with the picture of the receipt and they said yes. I even called another store to verify this. Only this store had an issue. I called the customer service department to talk to the manager there and apparently they didnt care to reach out to me. Never shopping with this store ever again.

A horrible visit to remember in Cumberland Mall store:First visit was attended by assistant manager J Neal 12/15/2015, the store was full and he was multi tasking in the cash register as well as attending customers, he took the watch verified the worth, gave me some papers to sign charged me and asked me if I could pick up the watch same time tomorrow. Upon picking up the watchthe following day, same assistant manager told me and I quote You left in such a hurry I was not able to tell you that you needed to take the bottom part off of the watch first. I went up to fix watch got the bottom part taken out and as I returned to the store I told him that I did not appreciate him blaming the customer saying thatI left in a hurry, I advised I was not in a hurry, he was on a hurry as the store was packed, J Neal instant response in a very aggressive matter was do you want a refund my response was that I wanted the service that I paid for done. J Neal proceeds to raise his voice at me and tell me that I will not disrespect him, and that I need to speakto him with respect and states are we clear? As every single person in that store stopped what they were doing and were looking at me, I advised I was not raising my voice to him, that I was not using inappropriate language either, and I did not see how I was disrespecting him. I asked J Neal to speak to his higher manager, got no response from him. I told him he really shouldn’t treat customers that way and Asked him for his name, got no response from him, asked what he was doing, got no response from him.Until finally he tells me to sign in one of those paying machines, and gives me the bag.
