I love this store so much. Great staff, helpful fittings and they give you confidence in what to buy. I knew exactly what I wanted in a used club, they asked If I wanted the newer version... I simply said no thanks this is what Id like... they dont hound you to buy anything. Very classic store and these guys really know their stuff.

Very good selection and prices. I found a high quality pair of shoes in their bargain pile, and the staff helped me with a replacement grip for my putter. The layout of the store is a bit confusing for first time visitors is the only knock I have in the place.

Im the rare wife who LOVES to see her husband play golf. I had been trying for years and years to get my hubby to upgrade his clubs. He went in last week and saw Mike. Mike guided him into the exact right driver, hybrid, and putter to maximize his enjoyment of the game. Hubs went back in today to get custom fit for new irons; hes like a kid on Christmas morning! Cant express how happy I am for the wonderful service my husband received.

Everyone there is beyond professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They never once made me feel like there were trying to make a sale, and were ultimately just concerned that I was happy with what I was getting. Great guys. Scott B and Miller helped me with getting new irons and could not have been more cordial. Great place and crew if need new clubs.

Took my son in to get his putter regripped and also brought in my broken rogue driver to see if it could be fixed. The staff was nice and friendly on the first visit and said it could be fixed but to bring it back another day when they weren’t so busy. After waiting for some time for the putter my family was ready to leave and in our rush to get home I left my rogue driver head at the golf shop. I called once I realized it was gone. They told me they would look for it and get back to me. Some how they said they couldn’t find it but maybe they could work something out for a new one. So I went back (I live an hour + away) to see if we could figure something out. As soon as I got there I could tell one of the employees took my driver head. We were basically ignored and the most I could get out of the guy who help us the first time in to the store was a ”we would’ve noticed something like that”... Duh!!!! that’s why I know it didn’t just walk out the store. After he said that he kept his distance from us the rest of the time we were in the store. No one ever helped me to get to the bottom of this by checking cameras or even try to help me with the purchase of a new one. Golf is a game of integrity and these guys have none. Take your business else where

I visited this location to have some club work done. I asked if I could try out a few of the new drivers but made it clear that I had no intention to purchase one at this time. Scott took me back to the hitting bay and spent a good deal of time swapping shafts and different heads to try to find the best combo for me, all while knowing I wasn’t there to buy. This speaks volumes to me about the customer service provided by the team at this Edwin Watts location. You guys are awesome!

The staff is really nice and has a desire to be helpful but this is about where the positives end. If you are a woman and have any type of golf game I wouldn’t plan to come here ever. For context I have been playing for about 30 years, I am a 4 handicap and know more about golf club construction than your average golfer. I bought a driver and knew that I needed a different shaft. I arrived at the store and a very helpful man at the front counter asked what I needed help with. I started to explain that I had purchased a driver and felt that the shaft wasn’t quite right he asked if it was a man’s driver and I answered yes before I got anything else out he offered that I must need a senior flex shaft (happens often) I politely answered that no I had previously always had a stiff shaft and this had a regular shaft - I thought potentially i needed a regular shaft with a lower kick point or a heavier weight or slightly stiffer regular shaft. He was very kind in trying to get me in quickly with their club fitter. The club fitter started with what I know was intended to be expert knowledge but felt rather, well awful. He started out by saying on multiple occasions “no offense but for someone of your height I wouldn’t recommend a stiff shaft” (again I get this a lot I am 5’1”). I explained that I understand that isn’t the typical situation, however I have been hitting a stiff shaft for 15 years and felt I could benefit from going from a stiff to a regular, but the driver I had purchased after playing several rounds wasn’t quite right. He then explained the basic mechanics of how the golf club build and swing mechanics worked (at your height if you don’t have a really fast hip turn with a lot of power in your legs you won’t be able to get the club face closed costing you distance and accuracy) and if I was less experience and hadn’t bombed the ball for 15 years with a stiff shaft might have been enlightening. We then set up to hit some balls. The simulator setup is strange to say the least there is a piece of tape in the ground to the right of the tee there is then a full white screen in which you are supposed to “aim” at the right 1/4 of the screen to have it register as “center” on the numbers they project. I have hit a slice about 20 times in my 30 years of golf but according to this setup I hit a slice every time. I explained I wasn’t as interested in the line as I felt the setup wasn’t going to give us an accurate picture of that but more the height, backspin and smash factor. They didn’t have smash factor as a stat on the numbers they produced. After explaining that I had tried over 30 shots with all of the degree adjustments the club offered he adjusted the loft to a higher loft and shocker it was worse than the lower loft I had it set on. I hit a number of shots with both clubs that weren’t in line with what I see on the course but this is a part of hitting on a simulator. After explaining that he felt that I should expect no distance improvement with a new club vs a driver from 15 years ago because if you don’t have a swing speed higher than 110 you won’t experience greater distance with a new club (I find this highly unlikely) he told me I should use the shaft I have. At this point I felt there was a better answer but he was not the guy to give me a better answer. There was no hitting a shaft that was heavier or with a different kick point just “advice” on something I knew from playing on course didn’t work.I always try to shop local and support the golf community but I am headed to the PGA store even if their staff isn’t as knowledgable as I would like in some cases, you can at least try a bunch of different shaft combinations (was my hope) instead of having someone who had very little knowledge to help me telling me maybe “I just needed to get used to the club.”IIf you are a woman and have any type of game I would skip this place it will be frustrating and in my case a huge waste of time.

I usually don’t write reviews but wanted to after my experience over the past couple weeks.I ordered a pretty high dollar($300) shaft for my new Taylormade driver, and played 2 rounds with it and it broke at the neck. By no fault to myself or Edwin Watts, they assured they would make it right. They contacted the manufacturer and got the issue resolved and I’m back to bombing drives now! Thanks guys, was handled 1000% correctly!

Where to start, hmmm?I originally picked up my first golf club as an adult summer of 2014 (with a real interest in learning the game) for business purposes as I was always told you meet a lot of potential clients on the golf course. Starting out I didnt know much more than you swing the club and hope to hit the ball. As I became obsessed with the game I began to get more into the technical side of things and soon found Edwin Watts (Buckhead Atlanta).Fast forward... To this day Ive gone from a shank shooter chasing every ball, to shooting 90-100 fairly regularly. Not bad for only playing 4+ years when I have the time. Since first setting foot in Edwin Watts a guy named Mark was my go to but unfortunately he moved out of state some time ago. To this day they guys at the shop have been nothing short of a pleasure to work with, answering any questions I have, giving me the best advice possible for ME and MY game. Before you set foot in a DSG or a PGA Tour store take you butt into Edwin Watts Buckhead if/when youre in ATL and talk to some real pros. Ill forever be a client there and look forward to many more years of spending my coins with these guys... Thanks gents, keep it up!

Edwin Watts provides excellent service and has an unparalleled satisfaction guarantee. Mike spent more than an hour working with me before I purchased a set of MP-18 SCs. I took them to the course, and after 8 or 10 rounds, they just didnt work for me. I was a bit reticent to take them back, because there was nothing wrong with them, I just didnt love them. They did not bat an eye at my return, no questions asked, and gave me store credit for the full purchase price. Mike then spent another two hours or so with me hitting balls, changing shafts, and fitting me for clubs. I ultimately ended up with a set of JPX Tour/Forged that I absolutely love. In addition to Mike, David and every other associate I have encountered there has been exceptionally helpful. If you are in the market for a new set of clubs, this is the place in Atlanta to buy them.

Theyre smartasses in a fun way & always ready to help with whatever is needed. I bought my Mizuno JPX 850s back in November 2014. Great clubs! Theyve also got some nice discount racks and shoes. The service here is always great. Ive been a customer here for years... Get my clubs regripped when needed and the guys are very knowledgeable and honest.... Wont sell you blades when they know you are a 20 handicap! Staff is professional and friendly.... They let u do your thing but always are there to assist....and the prices are competitive with any other major golf outlet and u can find any club, any model and any brand. Only place I shop really for golf equipment unless I order directly from Callaway, Titlelist....bottom line if u r new to golf and want an honest assessment or u have been playing for decades and know exactly what u need, this is the place to come...Shepheard

High marks. Wanted to get my Callaway driver reshafted. Initially made the mistake of driving to the PGA super store. They tried to tell me it was old and worthless, probably counterfeit and I should get a new one. Since I new none of that was true, I tried Edwin Watts. They listened to the issues I was having with the current shaft and when they werent able to reshaft my specific model in house due to its composite build they shipped it to Callaway for me and got me an excellent price on exactly what I needed. In addition, theyve regripped several clubs for me and the one time they couldnt do it right that moment they had them ready the next day. Their prices are comparable to every other golf shop Ive ever been in. I wont be going anywhere else for my golf gear.
