Yolanda is amazing she is patient and very kind. Paint can be very stressful and she made a world of difference. I learned a lot and it was a fun experience. The interaction was collaborative and creative. I will definitely shop with Affinity for all my paint needs. I was trying and trying to complete a floor painting project using Benjamin Moore oil-based (e.g., F112 urethane enamel) and this store went out of its way to call BM research on a Saturday in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic to see if anything was available like that still (oil-based is getting harder and harder to find). No, not in the Benjamin Moore line. Also not Sherwin-Williams. The owner came up with a very creative solution, which I might yet pursue. Its clear this store knows its stuff!

I will never forget how I was treated at this store. They have forever raised the standard of shopping experience . The owners are a husband and wife couple, Mr. H Mrs. Honoré, who were the nicest people. They took there time to answer my questions. I came in almost at closing and was greeted w a smile. I had no clue what I was looking for but left w some samples. I appreciate that Mr. Byron didnt over sale me large gallons of paint but rather fostered a customer relationship. He is a painter as well and explained what I need and how to do do it (not in the midday heat...lol). They are black owned and that made me even more proud to have made the choice to shop there. Byron Honoré and his team did a fantastic job of welcoming the community into their Affinity home!! Starting Friday, September 1st with a contractors breakfast and lunch. On Saturday - Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting with food, kid friendly activity, music and give a-ways!This is truly an eclectic looking store with the most attractive and largest paint color wall/selections of any store in the surrounding area. The wall is so cool and it offers you so many choices its mind boggling. Go see it for yourself! The staff were friendly, eager to understand your project and were very knowledgeable on the products sold in the store.Affinity Paint and Decor made me feel very welcomed and valued. It was a delight to work with professionals that truly enjoy what they do and it was easy to do business with the Affinity Paint and Decor team!!Give them a try and I promise, you will be back!!

Customer service here is top notch! The painting tips provided by the owner plus the Benjamin Moore paints (much higher quality then Sherwin Williams) allowed me, a novice painter, to paint my condo with great success! It was worth the drive from Midtown!

Im having some work done at my house and a paint issue arose yesterday with paint that I had previously purchased. I didnt feel like making the drive to the original store and just decided to check and see if the new store could assist in any way. Im so glad I did! This is a great store that is family owned and operated. Everyone that works here is very friendly and knowledgeable, and theyre happy to help you talk through your specific needs. The paint I purchased (Regal Select) went on beautifully in only one coat and one gallon covered most of our living room and dining area. Im a happy customer for sure, and will keep coming back as we work on more projects in our new home :)

The owner and his assistant provide a jovial, yet always professional, experience. Whether you are an expert contractor or picking up a paint brush for the first time, they always offer great advice. They are patient with questions and will go the extra mile to alway make it right for the customer.For example, my wife wanted Wales Grey but I absent mindedly purchased Whale Grey. I called them and they offered to exchange it (unopened).They give great tips specific to their paint that helped do the job in one clean coat.Additionally, some BM paints are really worth the extra effort and price. Ive used Home Depots and Sherwin Williams ceiling paints and BM was the easiest one coat by far.

Since Byron and his team opened this store near our Decatur office, our staff has been very happy to have them in the neighborhood. I know that we can count on them to have a decent stock of products and to be at the ready with technical recommendations. These guys deserve your business. I really mean it. They helped my girlfriend and I pick out a color for our home office. This is already stressful process if you really care about how anything looks.If you want some quality paint for your home, business, etc., you need to come here. Dont start at Home Depot or Mr. Williams because they dont take time with their customers like Affinity does.They gave us options along with a good idea of how the paint would come out if we used it. I have 4-5 rooms to do and I promise this will be my first stop every time.
