Small store but it has all pool and spa owners need. They are able to test my water and the report is so helpful as is the guidance. Nice to support a family run business!

Great company. I could not be happier with the service and my new pool! Ben, Jeff and the crew were so nice. They were on time, Ben always got right back to me when I had any questions or concerns. I live an hour away from their store and chose them over other closer companys due to the customer service I received from my first call last year. My pool is better than expected. Overall great experience and highly recommend!

Postings show theyre open till 3 on sundays. At least keep your google hours accurate, time is precious.

The very FIRST thing before they will help will be the question of your name so they can look up how much you have spent on their expensive supplies. They wont help you unless youve spent over $150. on chemicals RUDE and NOT helpful

Went in to pick my spa filter were supposed to be done Tuesday here it is Friday were still not Don its not like it was the first time this has happened its like the fourth time this has happened not very impressed with merit pools

This is a great place to pick up good, quality pool supplies. The staff is friendly, well-informed, and eager to help in any way they can.

Very expensive, never got a bargain after years of dealing with them, wrote letters to owner to complain about various things, at least two times, never got a response. The guy that did the actual work on my hot tub was cool. Management......no. Be very careful here.I wont deal with them again, and warn people about them when I get a chance. Basically, in a nutshell..........RUN!!!!!!!

Horrible experience!! If I could give them negative stars, I would!Its been 9 months since I first called for service and they still wont give me a date. Lots of back and forth and they say the right things at first, but go elsewhere - customer service has got to pot since this changed owners a. year ago.

Being pretty stingy I have cross shopped everywhere for pool supplies, from walmart to Kmart to target, home depot, everywhere in Augusta. I have been impressed that Merit Pools has pricing that is either the same or better than other places.If you look at walmart, some of their prices are a couple bucks cheaper but theres a catch. A container of cal-hypo chlorine at walmart may be a few bucks cheaper for the same size, but it will be a more diluted / less concentrated form of chlorine, so its not really cheaper, its an illusion.I needed a new pole and net for my pool, walmarts crappy plastic nets were $10 more than the aluminum frame net at Merit, and Merits nicer poles were cheaper as well... And the people at Merit are actually helpful.I was expecting that a pool store would be much more expensive, and that they would try to screw me over, but Ive been pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend Merit Pools.
