I called Elite garage door on a Saturday afternoon. I couldnt find any other companies open that day. They responded immediately and sent someone over within an hour or so. I asked if they charged more because it was a weekend and was told they always charge the same no matter what day the repair was done.My cables had come off the drums. The door was half open and would neither open more or close. They quoted me $450 to repair it. I was able to talk them down to $400, but I asked if the job was easier to repair and only took an hour or two, would they charge less. The owner said no, take it or leave it. I asked if we could discuss it when the job was done and he told me: we have nothing more to discuss. I had no way to know actually what all needed to be done and no way to know what the job should cost, so I told them to go ahead and do it.The repair tech completed the job in under two hours. I offered to pay with a credit card and was told they charge 3 percent to accept a charge card, so I paid him cash and he left. I was also told at the end of the job that they only warranty their work for 30 days.On the following Monday I called a different company that I have used in the past for garage door repairs. I told him what was repaired and asked what he would charge for the repair. He told me he would have charged between $150 - $160. I had paid $400 for a job that should have cost me at most half that much!!I feel that that Elite Garage door gouged me on the price! No parts were required and the service repair took under two hours. The door wasrepaired and is presently working OK. I would only recommend using them if you have an emergency, no one else is open and you dont mind paying way more than a job should cost!!

Excellent Service! The spring broke on my garage door and the door was stuck half-way open last night. Elite was out in 30 minutes. 1.5 weeks ago we had this company out to our house to get our stuck garage door open. Looked like a decent company and review were pretty good. First of all they charged me $250 and couldnt get my door open. A garage door company cant even do that? Second, without telling me the tech left and I discovered later they had broken a window. Some integrity huh? My son later told me he heard a window break and didnt think anything about it until he heard me and my wife speaking about it. I called multiple times, left messages and their tech who I FINALLY got on the phone said it wasnt his fault and I had obviously damaged it previously. SERIOUSLY? This is Your customer service? This is how you take care of clients? I hope others take this as a warning to consider this business twice. If you actually have real integrity you will come back and fix this window and apologize.

I had the pleasure of doing business with Elite. Gabriel, the owner, replaced the two torsion springs for me. I was quoted a fixed price which incidentally was 30% less than the prevailing market rate. (My door is one of those 500 lbs door that requires the biggest springs.) Nevertheless, Gabriel honored the bid and did a stellar job. He took his time, made sure that the springs are well balanced and are under correct tension so that they wont put undue wear on the opener. Gave me several tips on how to get most life out of the different parts. Will be happy to give him business again!

These folks are FANTASTIC!! My door had stuck in place ans they were on the job within 30 minutes. Gabe was able to detect the issue right away. Replaced a spring and kindly tuned the door to make sure it ran smoothly. THANKS GABE! Will definitely call you again but hopefully not too soon!

One of the springs on my garage door broke (naturally Friday evening). I called at least 3 different places saying 24 hrs service and no one answered...this was at 9pm. We found Elites # and called them. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful and gave me an estimate of cost. The appt was set for 1 to 3 on Saturday. At approx 230 Gabriel called to advise he would be arriving in about 40 mins which to me is a sign of good customer service. When he arrived he inspected both springs and indicated that even though one had been replaced 2 yrs ago it was replaced with the wrong size. So I agreed to have both replaced. The price for both was fair as I had done my research. After the springs were replaced he took his time showing me how you know a garage door is set properly which i found very impressive and helpful. He did tell me the rollers were going to go out (which I knew from yrs prior) and said he could replace them right then for a nice discount on what is normally charged. They normally charge a 3% fee for credit transactions and he had that waived. I could not be more impressed with Gabriel and Elite Garage Doors! Excellent customer service and the fact he explained things in detail left an excellent impression of him and the business. Highly recommend!!

My wife had backed out of the garage before the garage door was fully open. She bent up the door frame and door panels. The door would not close all the way due to the accident.I called this company on a Friday at 5pm. Within an hour a really nice guy showed up and fixed it al rather quick. Honest and fair price. We found the garage door not opening while getting ready to leave for some errand by 7 pm.Thankfully, Elite Garage doors responded and came by night to fix it, so they saved us missing next day early morning errand.When he came he shocked us with price of $168 per spring, plus $99 labor. My wife tried ask if it latest price, he reduced to $150 per each, plus $89 labor; that is $389 we PAID by check.While he is working, I searched what could be maximum total cost for replacing springs, found it $300.And searched for prices of garage door spring, found Maximum of $50 for BOTH.I tried to ask him why $150 PER EACH SPRING while in the market like HomeDepot it is max of $50 FOR BOTH, gave answer like the ones in the Market are cheap quality that last maximum of 2 years, while the ones he is installing have warranty of 2 years but last for 10~15 years.I wouldnt mind if he told me $300 for the night emergency, and $89 for the springs.But trying search over and over if any spring can cost $150, and find it NON SENSE DRIVES ME CRAZY. Especially after a neighbor of ours told us that it happened to him six months ago, and he paid only $200.If someone gives me a strong proof that such price of springs makes sense, I will modify the review to 5 stars .Otherwise, this is total dissappointment of how make use and exploit such situation.Attached scan of the invoice, with phone number and address marked out.UPDATE : Received phone call from Elite Garage Doors, explaining why am I charged such amount, and they thankfully sent me refund. Great same-day 5-Star quality service! Called at noon and was told they would have somebody here between 3 and 5 PM. Sure enough, Gabe (the owner) showed up at 4:30 and explained everything the repair would entail and how much the repair would cost. Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. Gabriel Nave is the one who came out to fix my garage door and he bent the bracket and drilled 2 holes in the top panel of the garage and this was after he left for about 35-40 minutes.. when he came back and damaged the bracket to “make it work” without quoting me a price first he said I’m all done.. he requested $450.00 for his labor in which he arrived at my house at about 1045 which was outside of the quoted time and then left to go to Home Depot for “parts” which took almost an hour when Home Depot is less than 2 min walking distance from my house.. when I told him outraged that was he instantly dropped the price down to $250.00 and I told him that I extremely surprised that he would he even have the audacity to charge that amount when he damaged my door and I referred to him by someone else who paid way less than that for more work.. and then he says pay me what you think is fair. And I told him I would pay why he was asking but that I didn’t think it was fair for the work he did. And once he left I just felt so taken advantage of so I called his office and Mira said she would call me back after she spoke to him and never called me back and called them back several times. Fast forward to today my garage won’t open at all! I call them since they advertise a 2 year warranty on parts and labor and the technician comes out and says we aren’t doing anything with this door it’s to cheap and leaves.. do not use this company unless you want to robbed and offended they are the worst kind of people!

While I hate to write a bad review, I feel we were grossly overcharged by this company. The repairman did come on time, he estimated $289 to fix the door. I figured it would take him at least 2 hours. He tweaked the track for the door, and put in a new bracket to attach the door to the opener. 45 minutes! I thought since it was a simple repair, he would charge less than estimated, but no. Basically means their labor charge is over $200/hour!! I had to remind him of the senior discount. I did contact the company with my concerns and they did not even give me the courtesy of a response, I would not recommend calling this company!!!!The company finally reached me - guess my email didnt reach them. They did give me a partial refund, so I have upgraded my review. I still wish they would do an hourly charge, but they dont. From reading the reviews it seems everyone got Gabriel, but our repairman was Sean. Not sure if that made any difference.

My garage door had been having issues for some time. I kept putting a band-aid on it until it fell down, the cable came loose and the door got wedge in the tracks sideways. What a mess. In less than 24 hours total, I had a brand new door and all the tracks and hardware put in by Elite. WOW!! What a difference. It works great. But Im a have to know everything kind of person and tried programming 2 other remotes and set up the app so I can control it through the web.. Well Im not as smart as I think sometimes and screwed it all up. Nothing worked now. I called Gabe and he sent the same back back and fixed what I had fd up. No charge.This company cares about people and have the compassion to understand the situation and remedy it ASAP. They, without a doubt, went above and beyond what I expect from companies nowadays. I have a jeep with a cargo box on top, and tonight i accidentally ran into my garage door with my cargo box as i backed into my garage. i was panicked and worried! Called around 1pm and was told they could come between 2 and 4pm that same day and that I would receive a call about 25 minutes prior to arriving. Sure enough I received a call around 2:45PM. Great communication and Gabriel and his co-worker were very easy to work with. They were able to fix the spring immediately. We also ended up doing the rollers and cable although did not have to do right then and there. I appreciated that they were very low pressure about it but in the end my husband and I decided it was best to get done at same time. I would highly recommend Gabriel and Elite Garage Doors! This is by far the best service I ever had. Gabe the tech explained me exactly what he was doing and showed me how he change my garage door springs and let me tell you the guy is an expert. Found on Home Advisor and disappointed.***Update: The owners reply states they did show up and repair my garage door opener, however, I had a different company repair it the following week, so Im not sure whose home they went to, wasnt mine!

I have dealt with a heavy cedar garage door for 30 plus years. it requires a heavy duty 1/2 horsepower lift master to open. i have never been able to open it manually. i cant remember why we first called him, it had been a long day and i was getting irritable because he was taking so long. WELL, his efforts were well worth my frustration. he tightened the springs, lubricated, adjusted and basically did magic because now my door works quietly, smoothly, securely and i can now lift the heavy door all by myself.. i had always used ANKMAR door but this experience opened my eyes to the Cadillac of service.Mr. Nave was gracious and kind and relieved me of 35 years of concern about not being able to leave my home if the electricity goes out.

I love this guys. My garage door stoped working without giving me any sign with my vehicle in. I had to go to work but couldn’t since my vehicle was in my garage and I couldn’t open the door. I called few Companys and wasn’t able to get same day service. All the companies I called wasn’t able to come out and the soonest they could was tomorrow and I couldn’t wait a day since I had to go to work and needed my car. Finally right before I was about to give up I called elite garage door and Was very surprised and skeptical when they said they can be at my house within an hour. I was shocked when Gabe was at my door in 40 min and change the springs rollers and cables in less then an hour.
