I’m thrilled with the new carpet that I had installed today. My experience with Floor Coverings International was wonderful. I appreciated the fact that they brought the samples to me and I could review them in my home with various light conditions. It helped me choose the right color. I bought my house from another state, sight unseen… the new carpet makes a huge difference. The detail and care shown the the installer was exceptional. The curved stairs were challenging and he did an excellent job. I would absolutely use them again and will happily recommend them to others!

John and his team are extremely good at what they do. I have used them on several occasions and they are always professional, clean, and efficient in getting the job done. From picking the flooring to installation, everyone is wonderful to work with. John even convinced me once to choose a less expensive flooring on a house that was being sold as the more expensive flooring would not have added any value to the sale.He is always working to do what is best for the client. From the beginning until the end of our project John was involved. We ended up selecting hardwood in the width of the original. That hardwood oak is laid on a diagonal through out the Great Room, dining room and kitchen. It required a very skilled craftsman to do the perfect measuring to keep all of it perfectly straight. The final product is beautiful.John was easy to work and patient as he ordered samples for us to choose from. I highly recommend this firm.Diana

My neighbor recommended Floor Coverings International and it was a lucky day for me. I was most pleased by the salesman that was sent to my condo with his many samples. From those samples I choose two floor coverings. One for my kitchen which reminded me of a sandy beach and the one I choose for my 2 bathrooms. The floor coverings for my bathrooms I personally adored. They were floored with a dark gray pattern. The salesman came back several times and I appreciated his patience because I didnt want to choose something I couldnt live with. Overall I was also pleased that they let someone else I know install the flooring. Floor Coverings International is a company I can say I would be glad to recommend.

So happy with our new tiled showers. From the start, John Toth was excellent helping us create our new look and pick out tiles and trim. He listened to what we described and then brought us several samples, more than once, even when we switched things up with our style of tiles. Floor Coverings International in Avon Lake, OH did an excellent job on the new floor for a house we are preparing to sell. Darrell was prompt and professional with his quote and answered all of my questions to get the material ordered very patiently as I worked with him over phone and email since we do not live in the area anymore. The installation happened within the quick timeframe we needed and as promised and they even got it done in 1 day instead of having to come back the next. Jen took care of all the scheduling over text and email which was very convenient. I appreciate the terrific customer service and love the finished product! The realtor says the buyers are going to love it too!

We have done A LOT of home remodeling this past year. By far, we had the best experience working with international floor covering! From start to finish it was seamless and easy. We did not feel pressured at all by our salesman, Daryl. He was honest, thorough, prompt and funny. The prices are fair and our carpet is gorgeous! The installers Rob and Serina were phenomenal! I had six rooms of vinyl flooring installed. Quality of the flooring is far above my expectations. Installers were great and actually cared about every little detail. No cutting corners. I couldn’t be more happy. If your selling your home or need a cheap fix. Call the yellow and black big chain and buy the Chinese stuff. If you are keeping your home, and want high quality, this is who you call.

My wife and I choose a flooring color in their showroom. The flooring sample was dark brown. The photograph of a sample kitchen reflected the same dark brown color. Onto installation. The day of the initial installation I was returning from an out of town business trip. Upon entering our kitchen where the installers had put down approximately 250 sq ft (less than 10% of our entire project) I caught right away the color they were installing was not what we chose. The color was mostly light brown with interspersed dark brown slabs we had chosen. The overall color appeared grey. The picture we where given reflected our original brown.I told the installers to stop installation. They did. Our interior designer agreed the pictures and slab we chose and the color they were installing were completely different. Our designer knows the owner and we got him to look at the difference in our home. He started by saying these hybrid colors are the popular choice today. I replied this isnt want we want, this isnt what we chose. They said they could pull up the floors but we would be responsible for a restocking fee (approximately 30%). I said that was unacceptable, the color disparity was clear. They pressed on the restocking fee, and I told them I no longer want them to do the rest of our home (carpet and flooring in excess of 3,000 sq ft.) He threatened back to us that we had a contract. Long and short, I would not recommend this business, at the very least, have the installers lay out a significant portion of the floor in the home before installation. Do NOT rely on their single plank samples in their showroom and do NOT rely on their photographs. Ours was clearly nowhere near accurate. Do not allow owner, if there is a color difference, to attempt to talk you into accepting that color as its a popular choice, if thats what you did not choose. They were attempting to avoid fixing it. Buyer beware. In the future I will go elsewhere. Hope this helps.

My sales rep., Darrell was great. He brought the carpet samples to my home so it made it easier to see how the carpet would look with my paint color. Darrell was very knowledgeable and he was not pushy. Scheduling the carpet installation seemed a bit unorganized, but they did come through. The carpet installer, Rob, was fantastic! I absolutely LOVE my carpet!! The price of their carpet was very good and included moving my furniture and tearing out existing carpet. I would definitely go back to Floor Coverings International in Avon Lake.

They replaced 5 bedrooms and a staircase of carpeting in August, 2019. They were professional and very pleasant. They removed all of the old carpet, moved all the furniture in the rooms, then replaced it when done.They cleaned up very well and made a project I was dreading much easier than I thought it would be. We listed our house for sale one month later and sold it in 2 days. The new carpet was well worth it.

It had been 20 years since I had picked out flooring so I didn’t even know where to begin, but the owner met with us and was very accessible and answered all my questions and walked me through the process. The technician that put our tile in was incredibly professional, neat, meticulous in his craftsmanship, and did an amazing job for us. The project was not only completed in the time period that was promised but sooner than I anticipated. We love our new tile floor and plan on using this company again when we have our carpet replaced. I feel very confident in recommending this company.

Just completed renovating a 3rd floor attic bedroom and needed the stairs, landing and floor carpeted. Floor Coverings International recently replaced the carpet inlay in our finished basement as well as the carpet on our basement stairs. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the process or the results! Darrell came to our home on time for our estimate and helped us select the right carpet and pad for our job, without pressuring us to go beyond our budget. We also appreciated having the option to move the furniture and remove the old carpeting ourselves to save a little money. We are expecting a baby soon and Wendy surprised us by scheduling our installation much sooner than expected, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the baby! The installers arrived on time for our job and did an excellent job of dealing with our slightly uneven basement floor and crooked basement steps. They finished the job on time and cleaned up well after themselves- we were able to move the furniture right back in. We were very pleased with the luxury vinyl tile and bamboo wood flooring installed. Our installer was Jim and he did an excellent job juggling 5 separate installation spots in our house, yet left each day allowing us to use these areas in our home. Each day, all of the areas were cleaned of debris and usable. He finished the whole job in one week.

Floor Coverings International did fabulous job with my carpet installation. They were the company that originally installed my carpet when I purchased my condominium, and since I loved the quality of the carpet and padding so much, and the seamlessness of it, I went back to them after I had water damage and needed total replacement. The carpet looked exactly like it was when I purchased it and you would never know that there was water damage. You can’t tell where it starts and ends as the installation is top notch. The team was very professional and got it done in a timely manner. After the replacement carpet was installed, the team walked me though the house to make sure I was satisfied with the carpet and installation and they asked me if I had any questions. After such a stressful time, it put me at ease to work with such a professional and friendly team. I highly recommend them. I am a realtor as well, and I will refer them to all my clients.
