Ordered a tool box over the phone. It was the only one they had. They held it for us just with my name. It was ready when we got there. Had a ding in the box, they opened it, checked it out, and all was good. Everyone helpful and pleasant.

First time here and let me tell you I loved it. I needed an extractor for a garden faucet that broke and I was redirected to this store through Charley who works at Lows. He didnt have what I needed d told me that Harbor Freight Tools would take care of me. As soon as I walked in the door Felicia greeted me and asked if she can help me. She directed me to the right spot. When I found what I needed plus some extra items I got Felicia asked if we needed anything else. We were ready to check out and Sandra helped us out. She got us a discount and showed us some coupons we could use. It was a clean shop and the staff was extremely friendly in our first visit. I will definitely come back again. I will recommend this store location to everyone I know.

When my mobile mechanic service is in need of a tool this had been my place to go. Their tools are strong and durable. I have tested them to extremes and they still are performing like the first day...

Sad way to treat long time customers. I have shopped at HFT for over 20 years and spent thousands of dollars over that time. On 8/15/21, I received a coupon for 30% off Thunderbolt Edge batteries. This coupon was different from the normal coupons, in that it stated No Exclusions and limit one COUPON per customer. Nothing was written that stated a limit on quantity. I asked my wife to use the coupon to buy 13 packages of batteries which she did. Upon her return, I checked the receipt and the clerk applied the 30% discount to ONE package only. Full price on the remaining 12. I went back in to the store on 8/26/21 with the coupon, my receipt and all the unopened battery packs. I explained my situation to the manager Sandy. She pointed at the coupon, where it read limit one coupon per customer and said it was rung up correctly. I replied that the coupon does not state a quantity limit and clearly states No Exclusions. She looked at me, said sorry and basically walked away. The irony of all this was that the batteries had gone on sale for about the same price as the coupon price. Sandy never once mentioned this or acted like she cared. Never asked if I was an inside track member, which I am. Never bothered to look at my purchase history. All she seemed to care about was winning the argument about coupon verbiage. I like HFT. Have for a long time. But its people like Sandy that will cause HFT to lose loyal customers for life. In the end, I was able to receive a partial refund due to the current sale. Its not about the money so much, as it is customer service. My decision to shop HFT stores again will depend on how they respond to this review, or not.

If you love tools and great prices this is the place to go. They have bargins on most items and a lot of stuff thatll get you by in a pinch when you dont want to spend top dollar on something youll only use occasionally.

Id be willing to pay a few dollars more if all the equipment said made in the USA..instead of made in China. OK I get it..dollars to dimes..its cheaper to get the equipment and tools made in the land of slave laborMBTW ..Im still waiting for some retribution against China on the world court,, for them purposely releasing global genocide....They knew exactly what they were releasing on the world....biological warfare.....

I love this place. Great stuff for the Money.I recently retired and I dont need expensive tools or equipment.So this is the place to shop, especially for wheelbarrow or handtruck tires.

Usually well stocked. They often have good sales on many items, including electrical equipment. Some areas need a little bit of cleaning but it is not the whole store. The employees are great, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Outside neighboring businesses sidewalk and parking lot need some cleaning up.

Always fun going there to buy tools, very polite employees and always great prices.

I love this place for all your quick tools and hardware and household needs. They have hours that vary and close really early on certain days but they are close to home and very affordable. Some people say their items are “cheap junk that won’t last”, but from my experience their tools and items are quality and I use them for daily work doing furniture refurbishing and home remodeling and repairs and have not had any issues with the tools I buy from them. The prices are very reasonable compared to their competitors and have withstood my heavy use. The packaging is basic and plain but they hold up as good as the more expensive brands at the competitors stores. I recommend checking them out for all your repair needs.

A employee was getting harassed by a customer who was making racially suggestive comments directed towards the black employee as she explained the return policy he interrupted, being very rude, she removed the item from the counter and asked him to shop elsewhere, swearing as he exited the store. I commend this employee for not loosing her cool(I would have flipped!)in a very controversial situation, thank you for keeping cool and saving the reputation of other black women in the work force!!!....Good job!!!

Scored me an air compressor for $60 plus tax and several other essentials needed for the garage and if i wouldve got same items elsewhere Id have most likely paid at least 50% more and had about the same quality so why pay for the name on the tool? Why not buy just what you need?

Your typical harbor freight. The company has changed over the last year or two. Price points not as attractive as they use to be. Trying to go more upscale on products. People typically shop here for a low price point. Now not much different than other outlets carrying similar products

This is “my” Harbor Freight!I’ve been to most of them across the entire West & East valleys. This is not the closest HFT to my house- but the one I choose to go to. The store is clean enough, (it’s a hardware store not a hospital supply!) the staff is on point & they stick to the hours- by not closing early or unnecessarily rushing you out before closing time.They do run out of the “sale” items often - which is a pet peeve of mine, but in my opinion, that’s no fault of the customer service employees. They do what they can & always tell you when the next delivery is coming- to “hopefully” restock the items you missed out on..Most of the employees are very helpful & almost all of them recognize & acknowledge their regular customers. There’s a couple (only 2 that come to mind: 1 male *manager* & 1 relatively new female cashier) that are not on the level of excellence that the rest of the staff shares- but overall the customer service is fantastic. Sometimes women in retail aren’t that nice to female customers for no particular reason (other than past experience I’m sure!) but that is not the case in this store. The cashiers are mostly women- they are knowledgeable about their product location & availability, they are efficient yet friendly- even when I show up at 2 minutes to “close” (I do sincerely apologize!! Lol) and they do not give me a hard time about my returns. (I’m a serial over-killer... I always buy way too much of everything) The receipts are accessible through my phone number - so I don’t have to keep track of them- as long as I know where (easy, 95% of the time is at that store!) & approximately when I made the purchase - they are able to find it within my account. I love that.If it weren’t for the 2 sub-par employees & the fact that they often run out of the Extreme “sale” items- I’d skip over 5 & give this location SIX stars. Nothin’ but love for my Avondale HFT!!

This place has great products... But they do NOT have a dedicated customer service person for returns... It is very frustrating and at this particular store, the staff personnel is extremely rude and off-putting.

I ordered two items online, one shipped but the other was back ordered with a 20 business day lead time. Although I would have preferred they told me that up front, customer service treated me very well and helped me return the one item that did ship. I would have kept the item except it was dependent on the item that didn’t ship. All together I am impressed at the level of service Anna provided me, THANK YOU ANNA! I hope she gets the recognition she deserves! Because of this I would order from them online again.

While I am a premium member, I find the discounts to be way less than they used to be . You will find out at the revister that the 20% -25% off coupons are now basically worthless since the fine print excludes just about anything with a name. Central Machinery, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Predator.Some good deals can still be found if you look hard but there are a lot less of them.

Always a pleasure doing business with Harbor Freight. The quality of tools has improved greatly. No matter which one I visit there seems to be great people working inside. Of course we are in Arizona. The best state in the country.

Cant beat the price at harbor freight. Quality... well, you get what you pay for. They do have a generous return policy and sell relatively cheap extended warranties. I bought a router today. When bringing it to the counter, an employee asked if I had bits for it, which I thought came with it (Im not generally handy). I would have got all the way home, had my project set up, and ready to rock before noticing. Thats why I like harbor freight. They think to ask that kind of thing.

Good selection of merchandise. Staff has always been helpful and courteous. Prices are typically reasonable in comparison to bigger stores and brands. Generally speaking quality in items are similar to major brands although it can depend on the item and its use. Periodically they have huge parking lot type sales and even coupons to use on good prices. All in all Id recommend and seeing for yourself.

On Wednesday May 19th, Id ask to an associate a question about a impact drill and she answered they only sale the tools and dont trained customers on how to use it.

Even though Im a woman I love Harbor freight tools! I cruise the isles picking up bargain after bargain. Prices are great and with the coupon book you cant lose. Staff is very courteous and helpful too.

Great deals...tools are not too bad like others have said. I know that they say you get what you pay for, but their tools are comparable within many of the big brands. Theyre not the best, and that is not what Im saying, but they are as good as most. You are able to get a lot of Bang for your buck shopping here, But the daily tools you need to make a living hour to hour, you might want to look elsewhere. But the tools that you use here and there, this is a great option!
