This company has frauds working in it. I sent them a cashiers check towards ordering some backordered products. They posted that check on someone elses account and refused to refund the money. None of their staff members ever responded, after refusal. Never ever deal with them.

Customer service never called me back. I actually got to speak to a person who told me that all of their agents are busy and someone will call you back took my name and number nobody ever called me back. So if they can pay for a person to actually answer the phone to tell you that their agents are busy how come they cant hire extra people to actually help you. And I cannot believe that your technician are not available on a weekend.

From the beginning of phone conversation, the Rain Bird engineer, was very considerate of my concern, and knew enough about the Rain Bird system to help me quickly identify the problem, and apply corrective action, in a short amount of time. Our lawn is without water in 106 degree temps. I ordered parts from Rainbird website on Monday and paid $30 to be shipped Fedex overnight. I called Tuesday to confirm I would receive them before Friday. They assured me they would be here by Thursday. (Still 2 days late of “overnight”.) I called them Thursday morning and they said my parts haven’t even been shipped yet!!!!! So basically they guarantee they will send you parts and then they never ship anything! Worst service EVER.UPDATE- After a long heated conversation with the manager at the warehouse in California, he was able to find a part locally and had sent someone out to fix our sprinkler. He also gave us a new remote-access sprinkler timer box. So back up to 3 stars.

Customer service message for the past two weeks automatically states that there is a high call volume and the call will be disconnected. 🤦🏻‍♂️I don’t want a coupon code to purchase more merchandise that I can’t get assistance with.Let your CS agents work from home.

Rainbirds ability to competently do their job is nonexistent. Apparently there is not a single person involved with rainbird from utah to southern CA who knows where to purchase their products. Unfortunately, toro may be the better choice. I contacted 6 different distributors. it would have been 10, but 3 of the numbers listed as raiinbird distributors were no longer in service and 1 claimed to have never sold rainbird products. the service rep i managed to speak with was unable, after 2 attempts, to transfer my call to anyone in rainbird! he then escaped my call by asking for my number and fraudulently told me someone would call me back. I have never heard from rainbird. either.

I redeemed my points on their website last Dec. 3 the same day I did my other manufacturers. Rainbirds website crashed 2x and finally seemed to go through the 3rd time. Long story short it didnt work and I lost my points at the end of the year. I have talked to our local rep, our formal local rep, 2 managers in the rewards department that all say it is terrible and shouldnt be, but no one can help me, so too bad. Rainbird cycles through people so much all the upper people who I knew in the past are gone. We are currently boycotting their product until this is resolved and I am looking for your help in actually finding someone to talk to who isnt crammed into a corporate box and can help a customer.

Rain Bird is an unprofessional company. Im extremely disappointed with them. I signed up for the Rain Bird irrigation Academy, a week long class. Rain Bird cancelled the classes due to low attendance. They failed to notify me. I took a week off from work in order to attend the classes. I felt very embarrassed going back to work. Avoid work with them. There are better alternativesI attended the Rain Bird irrigation summit the week before and I should have seen the signs. The event was not well organized and most of the Rain Bird employees were cold and unengaging.They really disappointed me with the two events I was looking forward to. Again look for alternatives to Rain Bird and be spared from disappointment

I called technical support to clarify a somewhat ambiguous and contradictory product description in their catalog. The representative understood my confusion, but didnt have an answer. He said he would contact somebody who knew, and then call me. Never heard back.
