The staff is friendly and I love the variety of tools and equipment they sell! They just dont always keep everything in stock! I have had to go to another store location due to this. This store is in a major area location though. Last 4 purchase still being used on a regular basis.

Its a small Harbor Freight store. They work really hard to keep the place stocked and tidy. Have all the specials that are advertised on the flyers.Great customer service!

Prices were outstanding; store was clean, well lit and signs were easy to read; selection was diverse; employees were courteous and very helpful!!! This was my first trip to Harbor Freight, and probably my new favorite store in Bangor. No doubt in my mind that I WILL find home projects to do just to find reasons to return, lol.

I dont remember ever being in this store before.. but since I get deluged with nonstop emails from the company.. I must have been. Finally went in today to check the location out.. it has a pretty good selection. Store seemed neat and well organized. Will return soon with a shopping list in hand.

LoL the 5 stars isnt what you think its for...Everytime I go to Harbor Freight, its like strolling the isle in a toys r us store when I was a kid. Almost anything and everything Ive wanted is right in front of me. And I can actually afford most of it. The staff is just as awesome. I always find a huge smile on my face shortly after entering.The 5 stars is for the great feelings.

Sometimes you need just that tool quick, it helps to have a place like this to run in and grab it, staff is friendly, helpful and they are usually stocked quite well.

It is fun to find new ideas in tools.

I’ve purchased many tools from Harbor Freight without any issues, until I bought the Cen-tech 900 jump pack in December of 2020. I charged it per the instructions and it was fine until March of 2021, when I noticed it wasn’t holding a charge for more than 2 days. I called the store and spoke with a manager who told me that because it had been past 90 days, there was nothing they could do for me as far as exchanging it or returning it, unless I had bought the extended one or two year warranty.That will be the last time I shop in that store.

I found the tools that I came to obtain and ended up purchasing more than I expected. It appears that Harbor Freight maintain all their stores with the same format, which allows the regular shopper that has been to one store, the same familiarity as this one. Good job, guys.

Prices are too high for the extended warranty s,most nearly the same friggin price as the product.last few times I was in the store the customer service at checkout was lacking.however they yet have a lot of great products and arent as nutzoid in prices as Lowes harbor freight an the quality is not much different as Ive tried cheap power tools from each and they have virtually the same use life and functions just not overpriced due to the fact of a brand name on it.

You get what you pay for. Most things are good quality. Some arent. They seem to make their money off the extended warranties as most items only come with a 90 day warranty it seems.

They need to do something about the time it takes to go through the register

Cheap prices and good quality tools highly recommend looking here for any necessary tools that are needed in a time crunch... although it doesnt carry super popular brands like Dewalt and snap-on but still nice for what it is

I generally go here for items I plan to use once or twice, like I bought 8 inch clamps, much cheaper the other places, you often get what yau pay for. Their trailer hitch products cost much less than most places, and Ive never had an issue with them.

Great place for some products but not been happy with the power tools. The checkout lines are sometimes slow and long. The people are friendly but not enough cashiers most of the time.

The Harbor Freight employee I dealt with Jen was super sweet with a very kind smile she caught me in an aisle scratching my head I was looking to purchase a 20 ton hydraulic jack there was one on the Shelf as display and one underneath for retail sale I really needed the two one wouldnt do the job ask if I could cut the display model off the shelf LOL she said she could not fortunate for me she made a call out back and luckily there was another 20 ton jack my arms were already full she hauled the 20 ton jack to the front of the store for me I met her at the kiosk and she had already got the second one down there for me still smiling she talked me into a membership saving me a good amount of cash today I couldnt be happier $80 in savings I looked everywhere for this Pacific equipment that I purchased they had it nowhere but Harbor Freight did Jen even assisted me in loading this stuff into my truck which once I grabbed onto the handle myself realized how heavy they were the customer service there was first-rate hands down

Great extras for the diy people. Cheaper tools for the beginner, can usually find anything you need for compressor to zip ties.

They dont have as many tools as they use to. But worth a look.

Just went to Harbor freight store in Bangor, Maine at 2:30 in the afternoon...sign on door says closed for cleaning and restocking,open asap...nice to let people know beforehand

It would be nice if they wipe down the counter where you set your items to check out more often. Also if they allowed you to just hold up the barcodes so that they can scan them, thus avoiding no more contact then necessary.

Bangor location has great service and always helpful.

Older gentleman “Brad” who works there rudely kicked me out for not wearing mask while his mask was not even covering his nose and he was worried about the safety of his customers??? Okay buddy, that’s now how masks work and I should not have to explain myself to you why I am not wearing one. It’s unconstitutional and a violation of HIPPA. Boycott!!!

Whats not to love? Good prices. Has power quality to higher quality tools. Staff always helpful. Manager always makes herself available to customers and always helpful. As a do it yourself I wouldnt waste my money on big name tools. As a prior mechanic, Id buy a lot of my tools at Harbor Freight if I had to start again. From experience they stand behind their warranty.

The knife sharpener I perched had been used at some point and time.the box was open.

They have lots of tools and tool organization cases. They used to have a 20% off coupon that you could Google for on your cellphone, not sure if they still have it. Last visit I bought a magnetic tipped expandable rod, I was happy when it recovered a 3/4 socket that I dropped into the lake when adjusting my dock!

Picked up the 9000 watt generator to power the entire home. It was on sale for only 621.00. At 200 plus lbs. you will likely need some help getting it set up. But it runs and looks Great.

Hubbys favorite place

When I couldnt find my gift card, I used a credit card as I felt rushed and a line was forming. When I got to my truck I had time to find the gift card. I returned to the store asking if the cashier could put the purchase BACK on my credit card and then ring it thru on the gift card. HE said I cant do that! It seemed like a simple request, another register was open and no one was behind me.

My favorite toy store for folks that love tools that you can afford. The Bangor store is neat, well stocked, the the staff is super friendly and very helpful... Its worth stopping in and checking it out..
